  1. And lose the Senate in November. Did you see Linsey Graham crying about being out fundraised 4:1? Enthusiasm Gap indeed.
  2. He can POTUS all he wants. It's the Senate that'll own this.
  3. Ford to stay in Oakville for the foreseeable future. Plans to build 5 EV models.

How many years does that $500M buys us?   3 years?  Then - they'll be threatening to up and leave again?  Nothing new here.

Assembly plant jobs create many more jobs in the community. It's totally worth it. Ask BC2004, she wanted those jobs back in Murika.

I'm very happy that they're pivoting to EV development, which is the future of automotive development.

  4. Ramming through the nominee. . . not very popular. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-court-ginsburg-poll-idUSKCN26B0TN Also Repubs are getting trounced in fundraising. Remember all that talk about an enthusiasm gap? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/sep/21/democrats-fundraising-records-ruth-bader-ginsburg-death And Trump has squandered $1 billion and is now having to pick and choose where to advertise while Biden can pretty much advertise anywhere he wants. https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-campaign-spent-1-billion-2020-election-president-politics-finance-2020-9 I guess in Trumpland the Enthusiasm gap only counts for Darwin challenged people who risk their livlihoods to stand behind an Old Orange man in a Red Hat.
  5. Just wait for the whining when the Dems take all three houses and bolster the ACA, remove the Filibuster and Stack the Court. We'll see who the snowflakes are then. Repubs will pretent their protesting taxation on Tea again like immature babies.
  6. Then explain states like Arizona becoming Blue. Texas and North Carolina getting much bluer and a potential Democrat Senate wins in Montana and Iowa. As well as a Democratic Governor in Kansas. That's because the CPC became unpopular in the Suburbs. In Canada, the 905 Suburbs of Toronto pretty much decide National elections.
  7. LOL at plenty.
  8. Who pray-tell is that? The base that supports this POTUS will not support that.
  9. If they keep believing all Immigrants are illegal criminals, the descent will only be quicker. And more entertaining to watch.
  10. Look at Arizona. A state that was a solid Red State is looking to be a true blue state with two Dem Senators and their EC votes going to Biden. Trump has even suspended advertising there because it's a lost cause. The browning of America will have it's consequences as well.
  11. The people that'll be upset about that are quickly becoming the minority in the US. They have to hide behind voter suppression and the Electoral College. The GOP have only won the popular vote once in the last 32 years.
  12. That's a non-answer. The GOP have opened the door to this kind of imagination. The GOP have only won a single popular vote in the last 30 years. Their brand of politics are quickly going out of style. It's measures like this that's keeping them cling to power. I don't know how you can be Canadian and be that Right Wing. Many Dem policies would put them right at home in the CPC.
  13. Because they can. Money talks. Why are women in the US sticking coat hangers inside them because they either don't have the means to travel to the one abortion clinic in their state or can't afford to have the procedure done.
  14. Sure there are limitations when you make it Universal. BTW nothing to the Limitations when you allow a Private Insurance Company to dictate what people qualify for.
  15. So is contraception because it's part of so many Health Insurance plans. The thing about Abortion in Canada is that there is no law legislating it. So it's kind of the wild west. I'm not saying it's good. But there's no political movement to have it banned.
  16. So you're optimistic over a single election in 2016? This is a better reason to be optimistic. Iowa: Losing https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/senate/ia/iowa_senate_ernst_vs_greenfield-7072.html North Carolina: Losing https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/senate/nc/north_carolina_senate_tillis_vs_cunningham-6908.html Arizona: Losing Bad https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/senate/nc/north_carolina_senate_tillis_vs_cunningham-6908.html Colorado: https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/senate/colorado/ And Maine: Losing https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/senate/maine/ Who knows if Collins bailing on this SCOTUS nominee will help her. That's 5 seats the Dems were favoured to take from the GOP. So even if the GOP win Alabama back (Against a Football coach ) the Dems should take the Senate. Then they can give DC two Senators.
  17. Just to do an honest assessment of the Senate Map in 2020. Dems likely take Arizona, Colorado and Main back from the GOP. The GOP likely take Bama back. That leave Iowa and Montana that are wide open races for the Democrats to take. Both are attainable.
  18. Harris says she supports Legalization, perhaps that's enough motivation.
  19. Limits and banning are two different things.
  20. What a non response. More surrender.
  21. They have a love for the ACA and Roe v Wade. Pragmatism has to win the day here.
  22. Nor did the waste a second nominating Merrick Garland. That's what this is about, not Ginsberg.
  23. Would you have said that about Scalia not quitting during the Bush administration? And they stand to lose several in 2020.
  24. Well Obama tried to nominate a justice. McConnel refused to have a hearing. Hypocrisy is the order of the day. And how does that effect the election. Because the GOP don't seem to be able to get elected based on repealing Roe v Wade and the ACA. Which is how this should be framed by every single Democrat. Remember those Bernie Bros that were going to sit at home? Not anymore.
