Fomites are far less a cause of spread than respiratory droplets. But even before masks were in style, we were told not to touch our faces before washing our hands. Trump likely got it because he was in close contact with another infected person, because he wasn't social distancing and not wearing a mask or not washing his hands. Neither of us can say for certain which it was. But it's certainly evidence of how contagious this disease is. And he's in the group that may have a bad outcome from this virus.

Boris Johnson had "mild" symptoms early and he ended up in the ICU. He's much younger than Trump. At the very best Trump should be isolated to only Zoom or his Twitter Account for 2 weeks which means he's lost valuable campaigning time. Time that Biden gets to keep the narrative on his awful handling of this virus. And when he comes back he'll have to answer for the abysmal behaviour regarding this outbreak, like not informing others of the potential threat, and going to a fundraiser when he knew he was exposed. Or he could get very sick and be in hospital or still experiencing symptoms past Election day. Can an incumbent POTUS win re-election will in the Hospital? That also doesn't speak to possibility he could die? I'm shocked Pence will still campaign, one negative test doesn't mean he's clear, he could still test positive later. People who've had close contact with someone with COVID-19 should quarantine as well.

That's a possibility. Though with his age and comorbidity, that's unlikely. Even if he gets it easy, he shouldn't campaign until mid-October at the earliest. And it speaks to the contagiousness of this disease. He has to change his tune on masks and public gathering. Hope Hicks, who's apparently young and healthy, is apparently very sick.

This POS knew Hope Hicks had tested positive and did a fundraiser anyway. The campaign also didn't tell Biden or reporters privately about potential exposure. It's quite likely he was spreading virus all over that debate stage on Tuesday.

Karma out in full force. Trump has Covid-19. Beyond the implications for his health and all the people that have been exposed to him, including the Judge he's trying to ram through, he can't effectively campaign for at least a couple of weeks. He also has to eat massive crow about his downplaying of masks.

I wasn't the poster that brought the First Amendment into the equation. The first amendment protects hateful or racist speech, but it doesn't protect people's reaction to said speech. Free Speech can't prevent you from getting fired for having certain views.
