  1. So, just got a forced amber alert over my satellite dish, completely locks up my receiver, can't change channels, can't turn it off. I didnt know that was a thing.

And they said with a straight face: the increase was made to allow MPs to better serve their constituents and now they want to take Friday’s off…

    4. Shady

      Shady

Better serving constituents by spending more of their money! Forgot how corrupt the Liberals could be.

I am going to take a really wild stab at this and guess that old Hedy will discover that the very best way to preserve journalism and save local news is to pound a few billion per annum into the TrudeaaNet.

Sorry I meant to say CBC TV, that was a typo.

  3. The Agenda on TVO tonight is about the first 100 days of the liberals, covers some of the obvious issues many of us have been talking about.

Sorry kids, that comment was intended for the adults in the room.

  4. CBC National runs story about refugees recieving little money for food, and the numbers do seem low, then cuts to scene of very young refugees sitting around using modern smart phones, so what exactly is the messaging there?

  5. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/justin-trudeau-syrian-refugees-canada-1.3335517 "Justin Trudeau broke a campaign promise on Tuesday. And it might be the smartest decision his fledgling government makes in the next four years." Yep, agreed.
    1. poochy

      poochy

Of course the little broken promise didn't hurt his election chances. But they were nice about it, so it's ok, don't question it, it makes you look mean!

    2. On Guard for Thee

      On Guard for Thee

The election is not for years yet. I doubt this little change in plans will have much effect.

  6. It appears we will not be taking any unattached male refugees, by some standards here this means the federal liberals are Islamophobic, clearly not all unattached males would be terrorists. But i bet this line of thinking will suddenly become more ok now.

  7. So much for being different, http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/500k-federal-ad-campaign-to-tout-refugee-plan-as-a-national-project-document-reveals though $500,000 isn't a lot, maybe the liberals are getting a discount after all it's important to tell us what we are supposed to be, "demonstrate Canada’s compassionate values and re-affirm our global leading role in refugee resettlement." Canada is back, or at least the liberals telling us what Canada is, is.

Are you concerned or embarrassed by how hypocritical you all are?

    3. scribblet

      scribblet

Seriously, the hypocrisy is on the part of the Liberals who complained about it, campaigned on not doing it then proceed to do it.

  14. I love that in my riding the liberal candidate has ads that rail against the energy east pipeline while one of their own has been helping the company that wants to build it, it's so deliciously liberal, their so nice, so clean, and so in bed with an oil comapny while claiming to be against the project.

So when the NDP said they didn't know this was happening, that's totally different when Harper said he didn't know about the Wright cheque to Duffy.
