  1. You people have been duped by a game of (literally) smoke and mirrors between super-powers. Read the fine print to know what they mean. China made a similar announcement about their research fusion reactor a few months before this one came out. Since China made the announcement the USA had to issue their own response. The net energy gain only exists when comparing the power from fusion to the optical power of the lasers. Not including the electrical power of the power supplies and other building infrastructure needed to produce said laser power, which can be orders of magnitude higher than the power from the light itself.
  2. I hear they take a long time to charge up from flat. I can fill my gas tank in about 5 min. Some folks won't put their gas in cans, but then again some folk'll. Can't do that with no lectric vehicle. also the use of toxic and rare earth metals to replace gas is not much to be proud of. Instead of CO2 you get poison in the landfill. Same goes with so-called carbon reducing lamps, the CFL's snd LED's. CFL's got toxic mercury, and LEDs got germanium. Remember when the compact CFL's came out, and the government said they would enact a program to collect them? Anyone collecting them now? But hey, once we get that fusion shit going, this stuff will all be easy!
  3. Of course it most certainly is, as it addresses the CRT issues. It is a practical implementation of CRT. Still don't think so? Too bad. I guess you'll have to argue with these folks. https://c2cjournal.ca/2022/07/parental-pushback-the-fight-against-critical-race-theory-at-an-ontario-school-board/
  4. You guys have already been down this road denying CRT in a thread a couple of months ago. Back then I showed you how wrong you are with a link to the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario. Can't accept reality, so started another thread? Read and weep.
  5. That's not entirely what happened. Yes we know the health care system was already badly broken before covid. But it is not entirely true that it was overwhelmed, when we closed down diagnostic services like xray and CT imaging, and sent those technologists home. By not using the medical staff and equipment to screen patients for suspected cancers, their disease progressed. Warnings about the impact of stopping these services (increased stochastic death rate) were ignored by Tam et al, our so-called top doctors. Well look at them now.
  6. I'm ok if it's non-partisan hate and mockery of the USA. In the traditional good, auld Canadian style...
  7. Exactly. It also raises the issue that thousands of cancer patients had their treatment delayed, by government mandated shutdown of vital medical services. Somehow the fools deemed them "non-essential". It's been revealed there is now a high incidence of people presenting at their initial diagnosis with advanced stages of cancer. It seems nobody can explain why the government did this to us. But at least, we didnt die of Covid.
  8. Yep shopping at No Frills today I heard a guy talking to one of the clerks. He couldn't find something. After a minute he came back over to his wife standing next to me and says, "He says they're all out right now. Supply issues. He said it was Justin Trudeau's fault." The wife didn't say a word, just kept on walking. They both had sweatpants on.
  9. These are unprecedented times. If it's bullshit then let the investigation show that, because otherwise people are afraid of getting the vaccine.
  10. Any cardiac death within certain time frame of a vaccine injection should be considered 'suspicious' and investigated. Weirdly I now know three people who recently developed heart problems, and the two younger ones in their 20's died. This is statistically shocking, given the small sample size of friends and coworkers. We also know several women who developed menstrual issues after vaccinating. Again it's unusual given the sample size. Others I've talked to also know some women who are experiencing this. Is it just a coincidence or a cover-up? There needs to be an investigation.
  11. Yeah they'd better hurry up and push them charges through. The guy's about to become president again.
  12. Canadians say nothing while being systematically ripped off by our government. Meanwhile the price of organic mac and cheese keeps going up.
  13. How about that next broad they had there, superastronaut nutcase apparently she was an aswhole but hey, mind your respect
  14. I see. So not you then. The bought media has already moved this story down a rung and reverted back to screaming about January 6th. Not to worry, they just need to regroup. Stand by for your next delicious morsel about Donald Trump. Now here's Tom with the weather...
  15. So what, I don't need anyone to care. I guess that makes you a leftist liberal, being "sensitive".
  16. Yep. Nobody gives a shyte. Just more leftist liberal hooey signifying nothing.
  17. I appreciate you answering that stupid request for a cite. I wasn't going to. These people have no memory, just in one ear and right out the other. Heck, when it was they themselves who were banging the racist drum around here.
  18. Yep, I remember that's what they called it in 2019 when Trump tried to block flights coming from China. Canadian media chimed in on it too. Just more racism by Trump. Now here we are again. China outbreak 2.0. Well, well well. Just like before, Trudeau took too long and has been dragging his feet out of fear and capitulation to China. Once more, there will be punitive measures. Good, I say.
  19. "The majority of these claims are still under review."
  20. Hopefully now this foolish, selfish and ignorant generation is starting to see that all these measures have their consequences, and some can be very serious indeed. Sometimes the cure can be worse than the disease. That is why one-track mindedness, coupled with ignorance is so dangerous.  Educate yourselves, for god's sake.

  21. Makes me think about the time I was called a Nazi by a certain member here for rejecting the pandemic hysteria. I guess that makes me a Republican...
  22. Headline says: "Call Of Duty: How To Get A Tactical Nuke In Warzone 2".

Do you see how that works? Do you get that?

    1. sharkman

      sharkman

Nice.  Btw, did you notice last week, Trump hypes a huge announcement for Thursday.  Four hours before the announcement, a missile strikes in Poland.

From Ukraine it turns out.  To divert attention away from Trump’s announcement…

  23. Yes, you my friend exemplify today's left. You're not talking anymore. You want to kill now. <Yawn>
  24. Those nutsy russians keep attacking nuclear power plants. The attacks have been non-stop, edging closer and closer to striking the crucial part of the target, the reactor building itself. This can only alter the public's perception nuclear power in negative ways, coming at a crucial time when nations are ramping up the number of nuclear power facilities. Nobody in their right mind should want these things to be built in their region if they are a major target for terrorism. Strategically it makes perfect sense to target them. For a low-cost missile strike you get not only a radiological nightmare, you also have no power. Can you imagine millions of dumbfounded dipsticks in a disaster without internet? No advice what to do from google.
