  1. If you divide the test result along economic lines rather than “race” or skin colour, you would see a similar disparity.
  2. - Case counts can be very high, as they would be if we counted common colds. - We have never counted before as we are doing now. Totally new data set. There is no comparator.
  3. We can clap hands and sing songs. “Edumacate, edumacate...”
  4. Not really laughable. One must criticize. Speak truth to power. It is not particularly challenging to one-up Mr. Trudeau. For example I went to school, and I work for a living. I’ve had jobs.
  5. Really? Didnt I say these measures were useless, even harmful? Didnt I say we need psychiatric care services to be shored up? That there would be an increase in stochastic death from cancer and heart disease? That masks put people more at risk in some cases? That eventually people will be looking to get a dose of the actual virus instead of hide and repeatedly vaccinate? Yes, I did. All knowledge I have from experience and training. So like I said. I don’t need no debate. But hey. You people carry on
  6. African stats indicate Covid Oh-my-crom is collapsing. They are achieving herd immunity naturally, by exposure and recovery.

Meanwhile, Canadians are ordered back into their cages for another exciting, extended round of quarantine! Yeehaa

Omycrom! "Go ye forth, and get some!"

      - UK parliament, advised by the best immunologists in the world.

      People from Oxford.

      I mean, come on.

Look, I'm encouraged by the lack of severity of Omicron.

But the South Africa scenario isn't conclusive. It's also Summer there.

Early results from Denmark and the UK are much more promising.

Australia is also showing large spikes without a comparable jump in severe cases.

      Damn right you are “encouraged”.

I’m encouraged to see some countries do a complete about-face on managing corona, deciding it’s best for everybody to get infected.

The natural immune system wins again... as it has for a few million years.

But will Canada take heed and similarly change course? At this point... are we even able to?

  7. Not really, no. I made all my salient points two years ago. Now I just like to, you know. Sit back and watch you people come around...
  8. We need to find excuses to keep up this absurd facade. You’re doing a good job!
  9. Oh me, me, me. That's all we hear around here sometimes. - There's your answer.
  10. The key word “direct” consequence. It’s not a direct consequence, but the effect of bad choices we have all made, or been ordered to do by dunderheads like him.
  11. You’re easy and fun to pick on?
  12. To whomever "we" are that keeps hearing things... it has always the case that masks rated below N95 are not effective for covid. But even N95 is not all great. They need to be correctly fitted and worn tightly on your face. They are uncomfortable. You must also be clean shaven. Otherwise you're wasting time, and money.
  13. At least Donald Trump had business experience, learning how to take a business down. The first business Mr. Trudeau will send into bankruptcy is- Canada.
  14. I too wish to register my complaint...
  15. Where capitalism is an economic system, communism is more comprehensive or totalitarian in that it prescribes more government controls in everyday life. I’m for systems where power is less entrenched into the hands of one group. If laws are worth anything, they need to be written to put limits on government authority as well as the influence of corporatism.
  16. At least if you were good at it, would be more interesting you should teach comedy those who can do then there’s you there’s trying, and there’s doing training, and straining factum, ad hominem I like to give em the factum
  17. Health care, freeing us from covid are immediate, urgent issues. Mr. Trudeau has not lifted his phalanx .
  18. My friends, Who among us is in jail now, and who is not. Who is being told they cannot go out and do what they will at their own liberty? Prisons are being opened now, because Covid. Let the iniquity flow out... for what is the point of a prison, when the whole world is gaol.
  19. When motorcycle gangs participate in Santa Claus parades, tells you what the hell is going on here.

    Criminality incorporated.

The corrupt political class depends on their cooperation.

And if this group is doing well under Covid... you get the picture.

Shut it down, shut it all down.

Shut down law abiding, peaceful society.

    ;)

  20. Chinese have innovated themselves, in a way that brought them from a nation of peasant farmers to the economic/ military superpower of today. All nations may kneel before her. Technogically, they are sending rockets to the moon. They have hypersonic missiles. Their experimental fusion reactor is years ahead of the ITAR tokamak.
  21. Just an insane old man running around telling everybody "It's going to be a dark, dark winter..." He said the same thing in 2020.
  22. Didnt you tell us you had AZ? Then had to mix with another, after AZ was discontinued. That was right after they insisted, repeatedly, AZ is alright. I
  23. I know a few people who were already a little mentally unwell who are now stressing out over this shutdown. They are giving up hope that they might ever have a normal life again. These people need help, and our government can help them by providing more resources for mental healthcare. Offer financial assistance. Provide incentives for people to work in these industries. It's not my job to think up solutions, but doesn't seem to be forthcoming from what I see. The only time the wealthy get indignant over this is when it threatens their holiday travel plans. Then it's "People will only take so much of this, you know." You self-righteous know-it-all hypocrites make me sick
  24. In our "French" class, the teacher was a mean, haughty young lady from Quebec, who liked to wear a leather skirt. Madame Pfife. She did not speak English particularly well. She would yell at us for saying things incorrectly. Called me an "idyote" on more than one occasion.
