However in a way we replicate ourselves through DNA, and certain character traits can persist from one generation to the next. There may only be a few different types of human being, the so-called archetypes, and we are all repetitions of these templated themes. Every few generations the same type of person can appear again. Stamped out on conveyor belts, like mass-production machines. Wave after wave of the same dipshits.

    Yes “Of course” they are. There are lots of easier ways to do it than quantum tunelling. If you read the link carefully you’ll see it mentions various mechanical systems. Even wind speed. No need to make massive particle accelerators. Because in nature the ability to measure a random value seems much easier than the numbers mathematical algorithms produce. Math is too precise. Or as it states, the memory usage increases without bound. I like that statement... The human mind cannot mathematically fathom true randomness. Too much memory to handle. The mind gets discombubberated. For what is nature if not simply a much bigger database with a much larger memory. Thus it also repeats itself, but on a much longer time scale.     Speaking of numbers, I was at the casino the other day playing craps, which is aptly named. I knew the odds were against me but I played anyway. We assume these games are based on random numbers, though I wonder sometimes. I remember from computer programming class that weirdly, random numbers are hard for a computer to make.     I don't doubt for a second those Shiite dogs are a bunch of savages. As to Iranian people, the few I've met were happy to get out of Iran. There are some in Iran who oppose the Islamic fundamentalist dictatorship, but I suspect there are also many who support it. All it requires is a sizable population of stupid people, and that, is surprisingly easy to make it seems. A totalitarian government needs people to be stupid and uneducated to support them. Their message appeals to the more primitive and barbarous, so there must be many religious zealots in Islamic countries. As for banning the soccer team, not sure if that would accomplish anything. It's better to engage with your adversary in some ways. Iran the country does not deserve praise or recognition, but banning has problems of its own. You want to do something useful ban FIFA instead. And ban the bloody Olympics, too.

      A 47% drop in new applicants, and further decline forecasts it.

      But it’s more about the change in attitude. I dont particularly like the RCMP, and there are lots of reasons not to enroll. But this big a drop is indicative of a shift in general attitude.

      Happening elsewhere too. Look to Calgary... the Thin Blue Line patch.

    The church knows what actually happened. Somewhere in their vaults are notes taken from when they made the Nicean creed, for example. Certain... illegal documents... that must be kept hidden for the protection of the church. Church, power structure, embodiment, corpus, corporation. Christ, Inc. But aside from this, the question whether Jesus was real or not becomes irrelevant when you realize what Paul wrote was about the spiritual moral aspects of thought.

    Nothing to do with denial, which is actually a river in Egypt. Paul only admits he saw Jesus in a vision. This happened some years after the crucifixion. None of his writings indicate that he encountered Jesus any other time. And Paul was a big talker. Paul talked so much the other apostles hated him. He usurped leadership of the christian movement and took it in a different direction.

    We perpetuated it by goofing around. Goofing around means, trying to hide from it. All the things we did kept it around longer. Just like with bugs, if you dont kill them they eventually adapt and become resistant. Whatever doesn’t kill me, makes me stronger. Then they are really coming for you, baby. Had we simply ignored it, it would have taken its toll and died out like so many others have in the past million years or so of human existence. Somehow we survived without the need for fancy chemicals prepared in a laboratory. Instead of staying home and hiding to protect our dilapidated healthcare system we should have dragged our useless leaders out of their palatial homes and made them pay for their shortcomings. Instead they have pumped themselves up to celebrity status. Our saviours, without whom we must all perish. Somehow we just keep getting stupider as time goes on. Today’s so-called modern man man is just a Facebook sucking, twitter feeding homo. By that I mean Homo Unsapiens Homo Moronicus Technologus
