  1. Mediaite.com I laughed so hard when I saw this. Newsome can't keep up with Trump and ICE is more popular than the Democrat party. Independe ts don't like the radical ideology that the left has embraced.

  3. Personally I think things are going to get very, very bad in Canada. And even then, most of you will still vote Liberal. You have to save face. I don't know how bad it has to get to wake you guys up. 25% living in food insecurity and going up. Homeless encampments springing up across Canada and going up. Free drugs for everyone. Spending has increased, handouts to other countries have increased while our own infrastructure crumbles. Healthcare - over 20,000 Canadians dying on wait lists every year. Educational system crumbling - teachers have said it's too much immigration, too many in the classes don't speak English and have behavioural problems, they can't focus on teaching. It didn't take a genius to know that Bill C-75 was going to increase crime, especially violent crime, rapes and pedophiles. Energy superpower? On what? Solar panels and wind turbines that don't perform in cloud and freezing temperatures? Our energy grid is going to become increasingly unreliable, like it did in Germany and the UK. There will be no oil & gas or LNG development. That was a total lie. We all know it now. Industry has been strangled under the Liberals and it will continue to be. Our forestry industry is nearly gone. None of this is Trump's fault. Reports from the UK, both from left & right sources are highly critical of his time as Banker. He spent way too much, printed too much money and they're still trying to dig themselves out of the mess he left, bankrupted them with green policies that only enriched himself. No, it's going to get very, very, very bad in Canada. And then Carney & all the friends he appointed while in power will move back to the US or London or wherever they want, loaded down with piles of cash. Including our pension funds. I don't believe he has any intentions of living in Canada. He's only here to get rich off his Net Zero dream. Canada is the last place for him to do that because it's failed everywhere else. All these MOU's and supposed trade deals? They mostly benefit Brookfield, if you really look into them. They're just pieces of paper for Canadians. so I guess to answer your question - I voted against all this. My ethics and morality still stand. If the Conservatives were doing all these things, they would lose my support completely. That's the difference between us. How bad does it have to get before YOU wise up?

  4. Ironically, it was the Liberals that did this by invoking the Emergency Act illegally and violating our Charter Rights. Carney, advising Trudeau at the time, wrote an Op-Ed encouraging the Liberals to both invoke the Act and freeze bank accounts and to deal severely with protesters, calling them seditious and treasonous. Conservatives voted against it.

  6. The NDP leadership vote is a fraud. I tried to vote online and it was impossible. I tried to vote by phone, and they told me I wasn’t registered. I received an envelope in the mail that was already sealed and contained no ballot. If I cannot vote, I will not support the elected leader, and the candidates who lost should not accept the result of the vote. I wanted to support Tanille.

  7. It's generally a pointless debate with your crowd but let's try again real quickly.... 1. Yes, there is a way to prove the premise with scientific information gathered from ice cores, rocks and tree rings. And 2. Of course there is no concern for you, with the exception of the costs climate change adds to your cost of living, but there is concern for future generations if we stay the same course, which fortunately we're not as global energy continues to evolve to clean, cleaner and renewable forms of energy....Ie; reducing carbon emissions. You and other bandwagon climate deniers refer to the 'climate religious', while most call them scientists. It's a tough argument you have though in saying we will research when in fact we've been research for decades already. Just a quick link, but lot's more out there if interested.... https://science.nasa.gov/climate-change/evidence/ Earth's climate has changed throughout history. Just in the last 800,000 years, there have been eight cycles of ice ages and warmer periods, with the end of the last ice age about 11,700 years ago marking the beginning of the modern climate era — and of human civilization. Most of these climate changes are attributed to very small variations in Earth’s orbit that change the amount of solar energy our planet receives. The current warming trend is different because it is clearly the result of human activities since the mid-1800s, and is proceeding at a rate not seen over many recent millennia.1 It is undeniable that human activities have produced the atmospheric gases that have trapped more of the Sun’s energy in the Earth system. This extra energy has warmed the atmosphere, ocean, and land, and widespread and rapid changes in the atmosphere, ocean, cryosphere, and biosphere have occurred. You're welcome...

  10. There was a time in my younger days when I was intrigued by the NDP, then Bob Rae won big in Ontario. The next morning at work, one of my co-workers went on a rant about how bad things are going to get. I had a 'wait and see' attitude. He was so right, they were a disaster, and from that time I've had a strong dislike for that party. They are terrible on fiscal policy, they are anti-Semitic, pro-terrorist, anti- oil and gas.

  13. What hilarious is that with all the attacks he’s carried out on various countries, not to mention the embargo on Cuba (who is next on his attack list) and his threats to forcibly annex Greenland he is the most warmongering president in decades. The obvious tell that he wasn’t the “peace president” was when he renamed the Dept of Defense the Department of War despite having run for office as the supposed “peace president” who only wanted Ukraine to surrender to Russia because he believes no human life should be sacrificed for any cause. And now all the mindless MAGA sheep who foolishly believed that obviously false nonsense are cheering on as he aimlessly kills people without any kind of plan or strategy, just hoping for something to happen that he claim as a victory. Meanwhile the juvenile “secretary of war” rocks out to the death and carnage like a coked-out teenager. The difference between a Nobel Peace Prize and a FIFA Peace Prize.

  19. I just think it sucks, and I've felt that way my entire adult life. The perfect encapsulation of the clueless, out-of-touch culture was when they made George Strombolopolous the host of Hockey Night in Canada years ago. Like...what the f*ck? I don't think they need to be everything or even something for everyone, but "AGENDA" seems to seep through everything they do. Make programming that people care about. Spreading and promoting Canadian culture is not the same thing as trying to promote what the CBC thinks Canadian culture should be. Things like Letterkenny, Shoresie or even TPB are what become cultural icons. Nobody is watching and nobody cares about the latest French+LGBTQ+Indigenous arthouse project.

  25. I've read a lot about what has happened in other countries (Like Venezuela) and I believe Canada is on the brink of economic collapse. Had Poilievre been elected a year ago, we would already be exporting resources. Big ticket ones like LNG. He would have cut wasteful spending. No unaccountable foreign aid til we got back on our feet. Like Harper did during the 2008 crash, he would have frozen their raises til we got back on our feet. Deportations for everyone who doesn't belong here and is leeching off our system. I liked his plans for Arctic Defense. I liked his plans to deal with the drug crisis. Carney said there was no drug crisis. Under the Libs, none of these problems are anywhere close to even being worked on. Some promissory notes from other countries. The reasons why I think this even more since the last election: Liberal focus on censorship bills. They want it so Canadians cannot speak out about them. They just re-vamped how the budget will work. Jaques said it goes against international standards and will make it harder for Canadians to know what is actually going on. Then they appointed the chick who let TD bank launder millions of $$ for drug cartels, right under her nose. A crony of Freeland & Carney. Canadians will never get an honest budget assessment again. I believe, like CSIS, that when Canadians figure out how badly they've been lied to, there will be revolts. That is easily solved by the Liberals by invoking the Emergency Act again. An economic emergency. There was no accountability the last time they did it, they'll invoke it and be long gone with their bags of cash before the courts again rule it illegal. No election under the EA. I think the Libs know we're going to crash. They're just lying to Canadians and trying to gaslight us long enough to stuff their pockets before it all comes down.

  28. CBC was shown to be nothing but a Liberal campaign propaganda arm, paid for with Canadian tax dollars. Liberal cheerleaders won't care. I predict that now that Liberal party knows it can do whatever it wants, it will dust off all those "How much money can we get by taxing home equity?" reports. They need money to keep giving themselves raises. Even if they pick a low percentage like 10%, on a $500,000 home, that's $50,000/year you will owe the gov't. That's going to break people. Nothing we can do about any of it now. Liberal supporters just handed over the reins to a globalist banker who didn't even live in Canada for at least a decade.
    1 point
  29. I asked this question on another thread. If there was anything the Liberals could do that would make the die-hard cheerleaders stop supporting them. I don't think most Canadians know how bad the economy is and how much power they just handed over. Carney could finally say, Yes, Canada is in dire financial straights. So we are increasing income taxes 20%. We are eliminating OAP. Home equity will now be taxed yearly. We are still increasing carbon taxes yearly to save the planet. We are still keeping our yearly raises and our unlimited expense accounts. We're going to bring in 20 million from India to jack up our GDP. There's nothing they can't do now. And there's nothing Canadians can do about any of it.

  40. Its more a hate the left type. Word for word? Where, when? Hate for the left makes you people say the stupidest things. Poor Poilievre doesn't stand a chance with you representing him in public. He has to pander to you which makes him say stupid shit in turn. It's a self-defeating circle. Just about everyone of you around here is a Randy White and multiply that by hundreds if not thousands of forums and other venues where you folks pipe up. As for the right-wing brand in general sinking ever deeper into the toilet, you should definitely thank Trump for that. No one needs to be told to be wary of it.

  41. I don't know how anyone can watch Travis Dhanraj's testimony in committee today and come up with anything other than the CBC is total Liberal government propaganda. He was ran out of the CBC for wanting there to be more diversity of thought and opinion. He was expressly told he could not interview Poilievre. He was expressly told they did not want Conservatives on the show. There was a list of between 40-45 people he was told to NEVER have on the show. He had Mellissa Lantzman on and was threatened to be pulled off the air. Rosemary Barton & David Cochrane bully and intimidate their coworkers. He read a bunch of other testimonies from other whistleblowers who are afraid to step forward. It's no wonder so many here say the Conservatives have no plan, everyone hates Poilievre, etc. You were never allowed to hear the plan. The CBC gets paid $1.4 billion (with a $150 million additional funds given to them by Carney right before the election) to campaign for the Liberals.

  42. Just a question what changes has Carney brought to the table....that has cemented your opinion of the liberals...And PP is what he is is, the leader of the conservative party....and in the polls he is fading fast, regardless i would have thought you liberals would be dancing in the streets, cheering him on... Liberal voters will vote liberal regardless of what he does, which brings up this question, i know you don't like questions but here it is anyways, what has he accomplished to date, i mean he made a lot of promises during his campaign has he done or completed any of them....i get it campaign promises are never kept...but one could try to get one or two done....lets examine his priorities to Canadians priorities not sure they even line up...for me that says a lot when he can't be bother to even make a few promises to make it look like he cares .... what is he doing to swing Canadians votes

  43. Some people continue to claim the Earth is flat. For them scientific proof to the contrary is a lie – doctored. It isn’t simply the shape of the spaceship tho; it is about distrusting anything/everything, official – the scientific community, the medical community ………. indeed any government institution. Politically, it is about grooming the distrust and exploiting it. Flat earth, measles, vax, climate change, 9/11, Germans bombing Pearl, Elvis alive on Mars, elections, all follow the game plan; groom distrust. …………. the ethernet is the global leverage. A disingenuous political hack (all to a more or less degree) objective is to destroy societal norms. Oh yeah, climate change is real, vax saves lives and Elvis is not alive on Mars.
