Poilievre is one of the sharpest politicians I've ever seen. He will get his seat...he will expose the carney for the absent minded fool he really is...and he's a serious threat to the Libbies. THATS why they obsess over him.3 points

Man he lives in your head for free....your party won, enjoy that feeling and that experience...who cares what PP is doing or about to do....according to you our country is going in the right direction, be happy with that...instead your way to concerned with what PP is doing like he has the black death...let conservatives worry about who their leader is...your going to work yourself into a heart attack....before PP gets elected...we want you to see and hear about this great victory.... Liberal Party Has a full plate with fixing everything justin broke...lets focus on that....PP is not even in the race right now...2 points

No, you are sharing one interpretation of what one person thinks the UN regulations are because you happen to like it. The source you posted was not "The UN" And is interpretation is not as clear as you think it is. And if it was the case then why hasn't anyone taken it to the UN? Or fought it on that basis.? You just plain wrong. And it's night and day obvious. Your cherry picking comments by questoinable people and cannot explain why nobody has actually gone to the un with it if true. Sorry Kiddo. Lets be crystal clear - the us is acting entirely within the law, the UN has not protested at all nor do they claim any violation and YOU are ABSOLUTELY supporting criminal behavior 100 percent. which means in fact you were lying before when you said you were not and @User Was absolutely right to call you on it2 points

How do you explain PP losing his seat? Pierre started copying Trump slogans like "Canada First" along with introducing some Trump-esque policy proposals during his campaign at a time when anti-Trump sentiment was at an all-time high in the country due to 51st state rhetoric and tariffs etc. Terrible judgement.1 point

Holy shit! You just said something intelligent for once. Did you break out in hives? Hold old are you, honestly? I don't think you even pay bills yet. First you're trying to tell us that just by renovating a house using money from your CC you "tripled the value of your house", now you're saying that you think it costs $150/mo to get one channel on cable TV 😂 FYI you get a pkg that has about 6 news networks for less than $10. You're clearly living in your mom's basement, oblivious to the world of adulthood.1 point

Wow, poilievre sure has you scared doesn't he? It's like every second post you are desperately trying to convince yourself that it's going to be okay for you. Relax, we're probably at least a year away from another election How do you explain him taking the conservatives up to 41% then?1 point

And Donald Trump was one of them.1 point

I knew the emotional risks when i started that post and was prepared to face even that extreme level of rebuttal It's all he's got. His little 'cry for help' posts don't bother me, he cant' use reason or logic and i kick his ass every time he tries his emotion based 'logic', so what else does he have? Down arrows are his version of a puppy to hug considering his parents won't buy him one.1 point

LOL i know, it's like he thinks it's an achievement or the like. probably prints out the pages where he did it to have her put on the fridge. We have got some nut bars on the left on this site that are entertaining and they'll go on forever trying to argue some !diotic point that they have long since lost Or beg for attention, but I think that the grand prize for most emotionally damaged individual has got to go to this guy. I mean he literally thought that 10 pages of ass porn was a great way to make his point, he frequently just makes these little 'cries for attention and help' posts for pages, and the little down arrow thing is just hilarious I seriously don't for a moment believe he's out of his teens. Adults just don't behave like that. So there's still hope that when puberty is over he'll grow up and be some sort of decent person. Maybe.1 point

First thing you've said that is accurate.... Why would I 'admit' our democracy is comprised when it is not. Regarding your foolish claims of bribery, let's look at it this way.... CBC is a public broadcaster that relies on government funding. Considering the only government we've had in power for 10+ years now is liberal so of course this is who provides the funding. We don't know what the conservatives would have done because they can't seem to win a federal election. Let's revisit when/if they do to see whether they choose to fund or not fund.1 point

Can you imagine how sad it would be, to be that guy who sits in his mom's basement just living to click the down arrow every time someone throws down facts that trigger your confirmation bias? "LOOK MA!, I CLICKED IT AGAIN!!! HAHAHAAAAA! HAHAHA!!!! CDN IS GONNA BE SO MAD WHEN HE SEES MY DOWN-ARROW ABSOLUTELY DESTROYING ALL OF HIS FACTS! Mom? Mom? Why aren't you looking, mommy? This is EHHHPIIIIIIIIIIIC!!!!"1 point

Why do you bother sputtering along with nonsense like this? Harper didn't have a sale. Harper didn't do a bloody thing, you lefty loon. Cabinet had to approve sales of companies to foreign companies. That's it. That's all. Chretien approved of many before him. As old as you are, you don't seem to remember much. Harper came into power wanting nothing to do with China. The Liberals, NDP and BQ went bananas, screeching about how we couldn't alienate a huge potential customer and how it was desperately important that we go to China and try to get our businesses through the door. Harper ignored them, despite the united media braying that Canada was missing a glorious opportunity. Then, after the attempted coup by the Lib/dem/bq alliance of socialists and the great recession hit he agreed to at least talk with China. But he didn't offer up anything for them. And he didn't sell his ass to them like Chretien had done before him. The anti-pipeline, anti-development laws were put in place by Chretien. Harper pruned some back, but in his usual timid way, and the Chretien supreme court kept putting up roadblocks. Trudeau greatly increased the legislative roadblocks to building pipelines, developing oil and gas, and other natural resources. The requirements, along with the heavier demands for native bribery due to Trudeau adopting the UNDRIP, and the fanatic opposition from BC meant that the private sector builders were going to walk away from the pipeline. Trudeau had already axed several before that, so for PR purposes, they bought the pipeline. Or maybe it wasn't just for PR purposes, because suddenly the costs exploded. I suspect that was due to jobs going to Liberal backers who pocketed huge profits and probably kicked some back to Trudeau under the table. Nobody is going to bid on an open contract that allows China to bid and goes by the lowest bidder because no one in North America could match their prices. I grasp that you're a guy with no life and no friends who acts like a bloody arsehole on here and then struts around like that's an accomplishment.1 point

They are ghouls. They know what they support, that little unborn children are being slaughtered, so they have to lie to themselves and everyone else about it.1 point

Well, if it helps, you first understand the dynamics of our political parties and the political spectrum, what many call the "establishment," and how it is anything other than just Republicans who drive up the debt massively. Folks like you only pretend to care about the debt when you can use it to make extremely biased talking points.1 point

Everyone hates what democrats stand for. so the bill is still big and beautiful. Go get 'em ICE!1 point

Dude, you just kind of admitted to lying. You do in fact support people breaking the law and specifically illegal immigrants breaking the law. The fact that in your opinion they're trying to save their own life is why you think it's okay or excusable for them to break the law, and why you support it. But they are still breaking the law and you still support them in that activity1 point
-
Trump never promised not to remove illegal immigrants from Medicaid, enforce work requirements, nor does anything in this bill cut Medicare.1 point

It's your first element that's at issue. Like I said we all get it that the pain and agony of simply acknowledging this isn't a fact at all means you have to blame someone else for the things you believe. But yeah, it's great that the HBC was so sympathetic towards indigenous people and tried to do something about the smallpox that Europeans brought.1 point

Link's still trying to become the first person in her family to "gradgeeate her pidgin GED corse". Give her a break. If I had a dollar for every time one of the left4rds here was hoisted on their own petard I could buy the CBC's propaganda dep't from the LPOC. That got me to thinkin' that I really wish Link would try to post some links. There's nothing better that when a left4rd tries to post a supporting article or stats and they end up shooting themselves in the foot.1 point

Reduce the deficit Secure the boarders Stay out of forever wars Rebuild our military Reduce government waste, fraud, abuse Reduce regulations Stronger trade deals that incentivise American jobs Return to local government dominance Secure our elections Im sure there is more, that is just a start. Some of that is in the bill. Some is not. But you can't eat the whole cow in one bite.1 point

Don't forget, the lefties also want to be called "minor-attracted persons" now. Try staying on topic, child. You've got some 'splaining to do. Can you "fund your local police station" instead of going to jail? Did SNC Lavalin "fund" Michel Fournier with $2.3M to make them win the contract to maintain the Jacques Cartier Bridge? Fournier was an LPOC bureaucrat, so I guess that it was wrong to convict him... 😔 Was Trudeau "funding" WE, who was in turn "funding" his mom? I guess it was fine then. WE shoulda got that money. Can Trump "fund" Carney, and get the keys to the HoC by your definition? I just don't know how much latitude you wanna give the word "funding" now. Left4rds are so stupid that they already bastardized half the words in the English language with 5 or more letters, so I guess it's no surprise to see you doing your thing to 4-letter words as well.1 point

Why are you being so divisive? The bill has passed, it will be law. Time to unify.1 point

Nobody. They had boats before. Did you think they swam across the ocean? Actually The newcomers figured that out pretty quickly. But they allowed the first nations to come trade with them so the first nations did most of the gathering. But the first nations had never gathered such pelts prior to this in any kind of number. It was literally europeans the top the first nations to go hunting for beaver pelts and bison The first nations were largely saved by efforts of the leader of the Hudson's Bay Company who spent a personal fortune trying desperately to keep his many of them alive as possible. And it wasn't the Europeans that brought that illness to North America as it turns out. And sure, the first nations help fight off the Americans. Good job too considering the Americans treat their first nations a hell of a lot worse than we do But the vast majority of the land was still empty. Sorry to burst your bubble but there was almost nobody here . About 200,000 people for a land mass that's still the second largest nation on earth. That's basically statistically empty1 point

Then why don't you go through the bill and point out the devastation? "Amusing" is not the vibe you give off when you post. It's more like weepy angst peppered with TDS.1 point

In 2023/24, Marine Atlantic got 192 million in federal subsidies. BC ferries got 35.6 million. I really don't like the idea of buying Chinese either but there are financial realities. Korea builds lots of ships if we must buy Asian.1 point

The Chinese political system is ghastly but they do think long-term and have been setting the stage for what is happening now with battery technology for decades. They can see the world is heading for a renewable energy future. If we deny that reality in North America and take the easy route with fossil fuels we will be left behind. On this occasion Mr. Musk is correct.1 point

You can quote me on that. Poilievre got a higher percentage of votes than Chretien, Trudeau or Harper did in any election Every election until the fat orange scared them. How is it in anyone's interest to see the country getting poorer and poorer every year? How is it in our interests to flood the country with unskilled labourers from the third world? How is it in our interests to allow hostile foreign powers to do whatever they want and influence whomever they want here? Mostly due to Quebec for most of that time.1 point

I asked about conservatives. Don't try to tell me Fat Ford is in any way a conservative. He's neither a social conservative nor a fiscal conservative. So what you mean is you have no problem voting for a Progressive "conservative" as long as they have no conservative policies.1 point
