Tamara Lich, currently sitting in a Canadian prison, has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.2 points

yeah I've never had reason to doubt Canadian judges before but I don't actually trust the judiciary anymore, after seeing what is going on now2 points
-
Totally. I heard about this one guy who tried to get a Georgia election official to flip 11,000 votes and he's going to likely walk as well. No justice anymore.2 points

there is nothing stopping Canadian MP's from voting against the PM, with their feet or otherwise the issue is only cultural Canada is a land of cowards, sycophants, cronies & traitors, by choice no oath to HM is binding them to that, quite the opposite2 points

Hold up. I like Harper. That’s all we’re really asking. Decent, careful on spending, and looking to reduce regulation. Minimize the state. Maximize freedom.1 point

As one wag put it, third PM in a row to be ousted by Boris Johnson. BTW isn’t it great to see MPs, regardless of party affiliation, really having a go at the PM at a parliamentary committee meeting? You wouldn’t guess we had the same system in Canada. https://inews.co.uk/news/huw-merriman-m ... ee-1726986https://youtu.be/zopEUw7gUMg1 point

The party was elected by the people and the party is still in charge. The only people who voted for Boris were his constituency. We don't have a President.1 point

Jeez you guys think you're conservatives but you forgot everything about economics and yap ONLY about social issues. Yeah Mulroney was the GST guy. The tax consumerism instead of income idea, you know like every damn country in the world besides the morons to the South. And Harper's stupidest move was dropping it to 5% months before there was a mini-recession. Like fucking two cents helped us out oh so much. But what the hell, a little over a decade later, here's the same conservative crowd whining over two cents in Carbon tax when Big Oil is hosing us over a dollar more than the last time oil was at this price. So enjoy you two cents worth.1 point

Lots of centrists here are going to vote Justin like they were going to vote Conservative in the first place. It is obvious that you can't get enough of the guy, and you want 4 more years of it. Have you not been following what he has done or planning to do and are you willing to hang your hat on that...Canadians really do have short memories...it fucking amazes me, how the most hated PM in the country could garner support again after all the shit he has pulled and done... But that is why we have a democracy is it not...anyone can vote for anyone they want...including basing it on looks, socks, hair, I mean fuck policies or anything most voters should be concerned with...Vote for whomever you want, Canada will get the government it deserves, because that is how we roll... and if the conservatives lose they will go back to the drawing board or split up the party we will get it right one day. hopefully, before the left turns everyone in it into powder puffs.1 point

His mouth is full of marbles. He and Biden are having a "Decrepit Off" Two doddering old skeletons bereft of good ideas... in a country where the median age is 38 years.1 point

If a girl is gonna have 2 kinds in her lifetime should she: 1) Have them by surprise when she's in grade 10 and 12, or 2) Do it as a married woman at 30 and 32 years old? Which children are better off in that scenario? Keep in mind that we'd like to have a happy, healthy country, with children that are loved and well-cared-for. You're asking for a woman and her child to grow up in misery and poverty when it's not necessary.1 point

ah, but Trump is not actually a conservative Trump's strategy is to steal the Democrat's New Dealer platform of yore so he could choose to be the next FDR1 point

I'm not sure what Trump's plans are but he's sure on a roll these days!1 point

your can't say it's okay to kill something with no relationships and not another if not having relationships is your justification for killing something size of a group of cells doesn't work either smaller humans are not okay to kill while larger humans are not you are engaging in cognitive dissonance because you have no good standard to justify killing an unborn child but are grasping at straws to justify it anyway logic is not informing your stance your feelings and confirmation bias are1 point

yeah but I want the Liberals blamed because I want people to rightfully blame their lefty agenda and go in the other direction1 point

HarperCons like Poilievre are now too far right for the fake conservatives in the party they'd rather vote for Trudeau than Harper now proving they were frauds all along1 point

Christianity obviously predates the Bible there were Christians long before Constantine canonized the New Testament the early Christians had access to many more Gospels and there were more sects of Christians, Ebionites, Marcianites & Gnostics the whole point of Nicaea was not to serve God per se the point of the New Testament was to unite the Roman Empire under Constantine's rule1 point

Quite sure most people “support” the idea of equality in principle, regardless of their political affiliation. The division is in HOW we do that.1 point

well I will concede that I am inherently pro-immigrant because I am British so I am want to make the world British thus I am always looking for recruits to fill the ranks if they are culturally insensitive at first, that's okay because their children will be British in the end if anybody is trying to stop them from being British it is Americanized leftists born in Canada and raised by the Communists to hate their own kind1 point

The rage and unravelling has been a given due to a growing lack of environmental and socio-economic sustainability for decades. Trudeau is merely one more rung.1 point

You clearly don’t understand what the colours represent, one of them being sex. You can’t avoid the most important and clearest interpretation of the flag as supporting a sexual lifestyle. This isn’t for young children. Of course bullying isn’t allowed and we always go the extra mile to protect the marginalized. Stop pretending we need this flag on schools to do this. There are many other flags we could add for groups that have nothing to do with sexuality, yet we don’t add them. Canada clearly supports these special interests, so the Canadian flag should suffice.1 point
