  6. Listening to a news report, a nurse talking about "Covid isn't real" patients dying from Covid. They miss time with family and friends as they deny their diagnoses. They insist it must be pneumonia, the flu, lung cancer, and that "this can't be happening" until their last breath. Brought me to tears, even more than hearing about the thousands of people dying on a daily basis. I really don't get how people can conclude there's a worldwide conspiracy to "scare" us into wearing masks and staying home by inflating the seriousness of Covid. If anything, many countries downplay the extent of infection and deaths to avoid looking bad or to keep their citizens from "panicking". Only in Western democracies can we be reasonably sure there's accurate information provided. This is so, so sad and in places like Canada, the States, the UK etc., so unnecessary. If "survival of the fittest" is true, then people who are so stupid as to deny a deadly pandemic should be the first to suffer from it. Sadly, this isn't the case. We're all at risk, and the deniers put as at more risk as they spread misinformation, cry about masks and refuse to follow public health guidelines. So many unnecessary deaths.

  8. Canada has no "moral legs". When Canadian liberals startwith their empty virtue signalling, all the Chinese need do is point to the natives and various UN declarations on Canada's treatment of indegenous human rights.

  9. No that would be a disaster and not even be effective. But they need to smarten up in terms of national security with or without anyone else.

  10. Had to fix another typo. I find that when people rely on random strangers on YouTube and social media for trustworthy information, they tend to have a lot of typos

  11. The obvious effect I'm seeing is complete lack of communication with my fellow...errr...Canadians. Those FOBs that do manage some English...do so in pidgin fashion. Do they plan on speaking English perfectly? I highly doubt it. Perhaps some future generation...providing English is still a thing to be spoken here. That's gotta be a factor, eh? After the dozenth incorrect order at Burger King...I'm thinking so... "Frick...only one Whopper, again."

  13. The huge improvement from Moderna will be that it can be distributed through normal channels and won't need special freezers. Plus it's even more effective than the Pfizer vaccine.

  14. My entire point is this, IF no laws should be based on religion, then to be fair across the board no laws should be based on any other special interest group, such as the gay community, which have dozens of laws and policies written strictly for them.. they are after all they are covered by the same laws and policies as every other Canadian is.

  15. Bonnie Henry is probably the most respected health official on the planet. She is probably the most successful health official on the planet too. I'm bloody thankful I live in a place with a largely intelligent population that apparently knows how to take serious people seriously. I suspect contact tracing will be popular enough in BC it will easily pass becoming mandatory especially for visitors and of course people returning from jurisdictions where people prefer morons over experts.
