  1. https://www.france24.com/en/20191010-europe-lacks-leverage-over-turkey-amid-erdogan-migrant-threat Turkey is led by a calculating dictator who recently stated he wanted to model his government on Hitler's. This the same dictator who not only has equated Israel with Nazism but Germany and Holland (Netherlands). This is someone who uses his Turks in Germany as leverage to get re-elected back in Turkey posing himself as a populist nationalist, i.e., dictator. This is someone who uses the threat of releasing millions of Syrian refugees into Europe to shut up anyone in Europe questioning his actions in Syria. This is someone who had the F35 contract cancelled for his nation for now due to his instability and decision to purchase missiles from Putin but at the same time challenge Putin and Assad in Syria. This is someone who flips back and forth between( being Iran/Russia/Syria as an enemy/ally)like a Kardashian sister with NBA players. The man engages in mass murder of Syrian and Kurdish civilians and accuses Israel of being a Nazi state. This is a dictator who arrested over 50,000 journalists and political opponents and calls out Holland and Germany as being undemocratic Nazis. German embraced Turkey as an ally in WW1 and 2. They now seem to be suffering from karma for this. Turkey has attempted to invade Libya and control it, has threatened Greece-Cyprus-Israel over their oil deposits half way between Israel and Cyprus thinking a naval alliance with Russia would force them to let him in on the oil-only to be neutralized by of all countries, China who formed a naval alliance with Israel. Not only that so did India. No where in the world can a man like Erdogan get enemies like India and China to agree. In fact the only ally Erdogan appears to have at the moment is Trump but interestingly weeks after Trump praised him for his actions in Syria, and pulled American troops out, Trump did an about face (or at least his military got him under control) and neutralizes some not all Turk attacks on Kurds in Syria. Erdogan at the moment is at war with Russia, Syria, Germany, Holland, the EU, Nato, Greece, Israel, Iran, the Kurds, the Armenians, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Libya. He's a wonderful man.

  2. Spanish flu occurred over a hundred years ago, before twitter, facebook, youtube, etc. etc. I'm not too concerned with contracting the coronavirus, I'm very concerned, however about the public's reaction to it. Society has put all its trust in the fragile systems that keep things stable and keep us alive. People's perspectives change when shelves at the grocery stores are empty and their investments are in the tank. I fully expect in his clueless, tone-deaf way, for Trudeau to announce and bring in his gun ban anytime...that ought to calm things down. I've noticed that this government's typical reaction to crisis is to carefully analyze the best, most logical course of action, and then do the exact opposite.

  3. Lol.....the Dems are in full-swing TDS! If Trump had made so many gaffes - how come Dems' priority is to vote the one "who can beat Trump?" You'd think just about anyone among the candidates can, huh? Lol, they don't even care about the policies - the only thing they want is to have someone who can beat Trump! It means they know Trump will be hard to beat!

  7. It is the suckholing on the part of European governments which is drawing these people. If they were all given quick hearings and then immediately deported back to where they came from the flood of humanity would stop. But instead hearings take years, as they do here, and then virtually nobody is deported even if they fail the hearings, the same as in Canada. Importing millions of people with no skills or education, and largely unable to speak the local language, is a recipe for poverty and social upheaval, especially when those people are Muslims who are very unlikely to ever integrate.

  8. Having caused almost all the recent fighting in Turkey, the Turkish Islamist sultan Erdogan is now threatening to send millions of refugees into Europe. Apparently he wants bigger bribes to keep them where they are. The Greeks have responded by closing their border with Turkey as mobs of Muslims gather on the other side demanding to be let in, throwing rocks and iron bars. Others are getting around the barricades one way or another, or crossing the sea again, eager for the good life they believe awaits them in the land of milk, honey, and welfare. Notice how the CBC shows pictures of poor children, but no pictures of angry men throwing things? As always, the media are the best allies dictators like Erdogan have in the West. https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/syria-migrants-1.5473994 Here's a video I guarantee you won't find on the CBC. It demonstrates that the migrants are well aware of how to sway the brainless progressives in Europe. That includes burning babies so they cry for the reporters' cameras so they will look sad and pathetic and inspire the progressives to demand they be let in. They learned very well from the outcry from the Canadian left when there was video of a dead child after all.

  9. Sen. Chuck Schumer: “I want to tell you, Justice Kavanaugh & Justice Gorsuch... You have unleashed a whirlwind & you will pay the price. You will not know what hit you if you go forward with these decisions.” Of course that’s a threat. Only an idiot would deny it.

  14. The Democrats are so desperate they have given up on any policy/platform issues just to defeat Trump, at any cost. Trump is in their head, and they still haven't recovered from getting clobbered in 2016. They cannot win by just being "NOT TRUMP !".

  20. Yeah sure Boges, 'cause Trump is as bad as Biden right? LMAO. FYI Trump talks coherently for hours at a time in his rallies in front of tens of thousands of people, and he does it often. He's also in front of the camera several times a day talking about complicated issues. He's been carrying the weight of the Presidency and working long hours for 3+ years. Still, with all that, his "epic fail" sound-bytes are few and far between, and when they happen it's usually because of crudeness, not senility. Biden is basically unemployed by comparison to Trump. He talks a couple times a week for less than ten minutes and he still can't even say what frickin' city he's in half the time. A better comparable for Biden is Dubya, but Biden's still much further down the slippery slope than Dubya was. A 4 year old trying to read words from their alphabet soup is more coherent than Joe Biden.

  21. Now Mr. Harder. Please be fair. https://blog.arcadia.com/10-key-facts-statistics-overpopulation/ The concept of over-population is complex and ties in to many issues. Its not just an issue of the total number of people on this planet, but how we are distributed geographically and what happens when we are concentrated into specific areas not spread out and how we use the planet when we are "over-concentrated" in specific areas. To say India and China are not over-populated or the same for Nigeria or other countries with populations they can't sustain is pointless. Cairo is a classic example of over-population and Egypt itself concentrates its population along a strip close to the Nile River. Canada is not overpopulated if you are to talk of the entire nation's size, but 90% of its population is in a 200 square mile radius along the US border and please do not tell me Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal do not have high density issues. Mexico City, Calcutta, New Delhi, Mumbai, Rome, Paris, London, Netherlands, have challenges with their population density. Israel is a tiny nation. It may not have lots of people compared to Nigeria or China but its a huge problem where to place people. Likewise in the Gaza and West Bank. Its fine to say the world is not overpopulated but when you cancel out its inhospitable land zones and the ocean, just how much land is left for people to live on and do you think you can move Chinese and Indians there without a problem? How we use our natural resources and how we pollute is directly related to energy consumption which is directly related to where populations concentrate. Just what is the difference between over-concentration and over-population? Does anyone really know? All scientists do know is problems arise with over-concentration of any one life form dominating an ecosphere and that most of the time refers to rats, cock-roaches and homo sapiens or other vermin or pests.

So little Qwai-Chang got to see what a blue sky looks like in China for a couple days, for the first time in his life. But soon the virus will be contained, then it's back to work you filthy dogs! Fire up the factories. Which wouldn't happen if there was another virus. Let's leave it this way. And so you see my friends, blessed are the viruses, and the death they bring...

  30. What an utter failure of a government we have. You've got to be joking me. We're relying on self-reporting and self-quarantines. Total incompetence. Lives will be lost from this. All because sissy boy is afraid to offend anyone.

  31. Not sure what you mean by punching above our weight. As far as I can see we don't punch anywhere near our weight in the world. And disparate does not really mean disunited, as we are increasingly seeing today. Sure it's not as bad as in other countries. That doesn't mean it's not going in the wrong direction, however. I have watched the disunity grow over the decades, mainly as a result of the smarmy leftist contempt for western cultural values and traditions and their determination to sweep them away in favour of... of... well, nothing. When Trudeau proudly says Canada has no core identity and is a 'post nation state' he's a representative of that way of thinking. It's the thinking that nations are bad, that patriotism or nationalism are bad. That it's great to just be a state that isn't even a nation, where anyone can come and comfortably settle in simply because there's nothing here that will offend them or require them to change their ways.

  39. Yes, I noticed that. I'm more concerned with what it will do tomorrow and next week. China supposedly has the virus under control. If that reverses, if the numbers go up or it turns out they've been lying all of that is going to reverse very quickly. If the numbers start spreading in the US and cities start closing down it could also reverse very quickly.

  40. Canada is a healthy mixture of socialism and capitalism. Anyone who compares it to the People's Democratic Republic of Korea or Cuba is a drama queen. I suspect the necessities of any large-scale building in a harsh climate required more government involvement than in the U.K. or U.S.

  42. He could’ve done what Obama had done. Restrict certain areas from exploration and extraction. He could have significant environmental regulations and taxes. Obama finally lifted the crude oil export ban in 2015. It was illegal to export oil in almost the entirety of Obama’s presidency, despite the massive surge in production. Regardless, if Trump was Putin’s bitch, he never would’ve killed the top Iranian general a few months ago. He also would’ve never increased sanctions on Iran. He would’ve never enforced consequences of using chemical weapons by Assad in Syria. Yes, the only thing that people seem to use as an example of a Trump being Putin’s bitch, is that he doesn’t publicly criticize him very much. Which is more symbolism than substance. When you get to the substance, it’s actually quite different.
