Seen a number of stories over the last year of personnel shortages throughout the Canadian military. Have seen the same about the RCMP. Gee. It seems like nobody wants to join the military or the RCMP any more!? I wonder what happened!? Justin Trudeau's diversity is our strength happened. Postmedia got hold of some 'cheat sheets' which detail how the military closes off applications by white males to positions until EE quotas are met. The military might be short of people, but they're not short of white males, and that's not what they want. They want women, aborigines, and anyone else who can be claimed as a diversity hire. https://ottawacitizen.com/news/canada/the-canadian-forces-jobs-where-only-women-need-apply/wcm/9fe0ea53-4f18-45f6-9026-ccc674d521731 point

No, It's actually not. Mueller or the police don't exonerate, they press charges or they don't. The Police aren't there to say that they think you're guilty, but cant prove it.1 point
-
Why did he need to insert that comment at all? You know why! All you have to is watch the Dems and Media cling to that sliver of hope to see why that comment was made. It's not up to Mueller to say anything except "there is no evidence that would support an indictment". Just look at how you people are grasping at those very few and insignificant words. Like I said, if you went through what Trump and others have (Carter Page), only to have the prosecutor suggest that you still might be guilty, I'm sure you'd be pretty angry too. I'd be livid, maybe hire a defamation lawyer.1 point

It's actually pretty irresponsible to have as big of an investigation as this was and at the end say "we're not saying he didn't do it". I mean really, if a government spent this amount of time and money to investigate anyone and left that kind of caveat without ever processing an indictment...c'mon, there is no limbo area here, either you found evidence or you didn't, just man up and say that there is no evidence to indict, let alone impeach or convict. Mueller seems content to suggest that Trump may still be guilty, but his team is too dumb to find evidence. Mueller would rather admit defeat, admit that Trump is smarter than him, instead of just saying they were all wrong - whatever. Mueller is a douche bag.1 point

I have never found anything you have said here as being wrong. You tell it like it is.Using common sense and logic always works. And then there are others who prefer to live on emotion and foolish talk. No names will be mentioned. Chuckle-chuckle.1 point

To be honest, Argus - the little potato doesn't have much of, if any, record worth mentioning unless it is one of failure, contempt for Canadians and a litany of lies. Thus he left to the age-old liberal tactics of attacking the opposition.1 point

The investigation was started based on lies. Mueller was started by Democrats. Based on a forged document. Grand Jury is being assembled. Indictments coming. Stay tuned. So you cannot point to any racist policies? Is Trump more racist then the Democratic Jim Crow laws? How about the Democratic KKK?1 point

For one thing, he attempted to conspire to subvert and end the Mueller investigation. That is a federal offense in itself. Read the report for more. I posted a link elsewhere.1 point

In 1973 we all trained our eyes on the night sky to see the comet Kohoutek. It was anticipated to be the most spectacular comet in years. What we saw was a dull smudge. For a while, any over-hyped disappointment was called a kohoutek. So far, that is what Mr. Mueller's report seems to be. Everyone is disappointed because it doesn't give the President's enemies the excuse to burn him at the stake but is doesn't quite give his supporters reason to celebrate either. The report is a true kohoutek.1 point

If gay/lesbians prefer to have same sex with their own sex, well indeed, that is their own business. Go for it. Every day the government interferes with everyone's life. Especially, if one speaks political incorrectness, and does not want to go along with some alt-left liberal/socialist government programs, agendas and policy's. If they dare to speak out, especially in public, against those mentioned programs then the government will do something about it. They will try to use their "hate speech" laws to try and shut anyone down who does not go along with government policy. We see that happen many times. I do not worry myself about too much of anything anymore. I only wish to have a decent conversation, and I would prefer to discuss, debate and argue on any topic promoted here or by anyone else out there in la-la Canada land. Why can't people accept my right to freedom of speech? I have a right to an opinion and discuss it, right? Am I not to be allowed to talk about anything I wish to talk about anymore? For some reason people like me get people like you all worried. I wonder why that is? Do you care to comment on that?1 point

Maybe it only appears this way because the definition for right-wing was drastically altered from its original meaning - according to which, progressives and conservatives alike number in the billions and we all sit to the 'left side' of power. Only a very very small number of influential people sit on the 'right side' of power. Whether these be CEO's and such in a capitalist system or generals/union bosses/apparatchiks in a communist one their position to power is such that the numbers of them relative to ordinary people is minuscule. What compels conservative ordinary people to identify so strongly with this relationship that's associated with power? Do self-styled right-wingers imagine every prole in a communist system is an enslaved conservative yearning to join them on the right? The real polarity that should matter the most in any human society is the one between the rulers and the ruled and if you're not with one you must be with the other. Am I to believe this mean billions of conservatives wish to lord it over progressives? For what it's worth I certainly have no desire to lord it over conservatives. I'd rather we both lord it over the government.1 point

Everyone appears right-wing to you when you are too far to the left. Name calling and falsely labelling people along with applying derogatory labels to them is becoming a nasty habit with the far left which usually achieves nothing but strengthen those whom you attack You certainly don’t increase your own stature by falsely labelling others, in fact it weakens and lessons your stature. Just remember – when you point a finger, there are two pointing back at you. There’s only one federal leader running around the country hysterically describing huge sections of the country as racists, white supremacists and neo-Nazis, a big problem with the virtue signalling race baiters is their lies. Liberal attack campaign so far: World will end in 12 years! ------- No it won’t Canada’s biggest threat is Christian White Supremacist Nationalism. ----- No it isn’t The Conservatives will take away a woman’s right to choose -----------. No they won’t Conservatives will take away gay marriage ---------------- No they won't Trudeau liberals are running out of lies1 point

I think at this point we can stop calling the CBC government owned media and start to reasonably use the term 'government controlled' media. They've been pushing this white supremacy message in concert with the Liberal party ever since the latter unveiled their re-election strategy of pinning the label on conservatives. Every day we see fresh stories about white supremacy by anguished 'journalists' who always find a way to pin that together with Conservatives. Though I have to admit Neil MacDonald goes further than most. The CBC has become little more than a propaganda organ for the Liberal party and it has to go. If the Conservatives win the next election they need to privatize them. http://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/politics/why-is-conservative-politics-such-a-natural-home-for-white-supremacists-neil-macdonald/ar-BBVZb3P?li=AAggXBV&ocid=DELLDHP17 Meanwhile, Max Bernier had a point when he compared Trudeau's determination to avoid giving offense to Sikhs by removing references to Sikh extremism in an official government report even as he and his party harp on 'white supremacy' and the danger it poses. http://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/politics/maxime-bernier-says-trudeaus-warning-against-white-supremacy-is-ethnic-attack/ar-BBVYg91?ocid=DELLDHP171 point

More and more you seem to me to be moving towards the extreme Left, frothing at the mouth at those who say 'bad things' and demanding government action against them. If you think Goldy has broken the law then report her. Stating that she's a criminal when she's never even been charged with anything is entering the realms of the grand high inquisitor who decides guilt before trials. And accusing everyone concerned about freedom of speech as 'alt-right' is just total bullshit. And you wonder why no one wants to trust the Left to decide on what gets on the internet.1 point

Bring on more nuclear power, more hydro, and in certain viable locations, solar and wind. My understanding is that nuclear can be an expensive option in terms of maintenance. Again though, emissions from energy production are mostly a nonissue in Ontario and B.C. I do think that coal should be phased out across the country. We’re pretty rich in potential hydro production, but sure, nuclear should probably be part of the mix.1 point
