Some might consider being confined to a bed in pain with people changing your diapers as a life without dignity that is not worth living. They should have the privilege of deciding their own fate for themselves. You should not have the privilege of deciding it for them.2 points

Perhaps, but the "grade level" of banned or suspended members who use multiple member ids/profiles or attempt to vandalize the entire forum by deleting all their posts is fairly obvious. What "grade level" would you like or approve of ? What level of "intelligence" are you demanding ?2 points

Several years ago, a woman in Saskatoon was in her final days in a battle with cancer. She wanted to die at home. She was transported by ambulance and for the final two blocks, she had them drive with lights and sirens. I don't know if that is dignity, but that is the way to go, in style.2 points

Well that is great news to hear, and like you said, this happened in California the most liberal state in the union. If one owns a business and decides that they do not want to bake a cake for anyone well that should be their choice. Hey, if they lose a customer because of whatever well that is less money coming in to the business. Obviously they could careless about that money. They took a stand and stayed with it. Great for them. Now we both know that here in Canada that will never happen because the left wing liberal CBC media would go ballistic on that one, and so would our fearless dear leaders the politically correct politicians and the human wrongs commission would be on their azzes so fast that their heads would be spinning for weeks there after. The courts would have their azzes in a sling. It's not like they were called fag--ts or something. Now that would probably have hurt their gay feelings more than being refused to have a cake baked for them. All they have to do is walk away and even pass it on to the gay community that don't go to this store they hurt my gay feelings. There are just too many lawsuits being thrown around these days. Whatever happened to freedom of speech? If anyone wants to appear rude or ignorant well that should be their choice. No one should be allowed to sue someone else because some other person offended their snowflake cry baby feelings. It's no wonder the courts are so busy and all tied up thanks in part to these frivolous lawsuits. Cheesh. Some people need to grow some ba--ls.1 point

“When you’re a baby, you are a scientist,” he said. “‘If I make this noise, wow, I get milk. If I push this button or knock this thing off the table, it lands on me and it hurts.’” Can you guess who said that? If you said our Prime Minister you would be right. http://nationalpost.com/news/politics/five-things-we-learned-about-science-and-other-stuff-from-justin-trudeau-and-bill-nye1 point

Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer? In a way this appointment makes sense, if this lawyer keeps finding loopholes in the laws of Canada make it so he can't use them anymore. As a lawyer he's costing the Canadian government dearly politically (and us the taxpayer financially) but as a judge he will soon be forgotten. Canada's laws are way to complex, anybody can get away with anything given the time and resources to find contradictions in the legal system, it's how some people get out of charges all the time. How do you think lawyers can advertise getting you out of traffic violations? If we are "innocent till proven guilty" how much should Gerald Stanley get as "we" took away his rights until the jury declared him innocent? Just think of his life from now on, that's got to be worth at least ten million? What is Canada doing to get Guantanamo Bay shut down today? How many more detainees are the Canadian taxpayer going to be financially responsible for?1 point

So dialamah is annoyed that some people might buy the "Dearbornistan" photo? Is his anger because some clever photographer is making money off a photo that he does not like or is he worried because the photo exposes the great rotten hole at the heart of Liberal immigration policy? After all- Pakistan when through a MONTH of rioting- with multiple dead because their Justice Minister forgot to properly thank Allah in a pseech!1 point

You were doing fine in the other forum....what brought you back? There were hardly any personal attacks against one another....until recently. It's starting to rear its ugly head again. Maybe this forum isn't for you?1 point

Perhaps its like gay kids listening to Christians talk about how unnatural homosexuality, and how unnacceptable they are to God, so much so that God will damn them eternally for something they cannot even control. Who wouldn't get really depressed and think they're better off dead? What an insensitive, discouraging message it is we send. It's downright cruel to make them feel that way.1 point

But can homosexuals have children together naturally or not? Only heterosexuals can create new life. Nature intended for a male and a female to get together and create new life. All I am saying here is that homosexuality is not normal. My opinion.1 point

I wonder where the North American liberal media are on this? For some reason they appear to not want to report on this hatred being promoted towards white people of south Africa. The media went ballistic over apartheid. Now we are seeing reverse apartheid and the leftist liberal media is no where to be found. But something tells me that old whitey in South Africa will be on their own on this one. The media always likes to pick and choose what they want to report on. A bunch of deplorables indeed.1 point

Because telling them to "suck it up" is one of the most repulsive unChristian things I've read on this forum.1 point

Yes it does come down to the individual, and their choice. Certainly with strong support some individuals can make significant contributions (Paul Alexander, Stephen Hawking, etc.) but they need to have that level of support and they need to have the capability of making those contributions. Most people do not receive the level of support necessary to enable them, and many people are unable to make contributions because of degraded capacity (age, medications, etc.).1 point
-
Can you please expand on that. I suppose it depends on the individual. His frame of mind. Like I said, some folks who are fully dependent on others for their basic needs, still try to make the best of it. Some can even still contribute to society.1 point

Those who follow the Bible are the moral-less ones. They are like criminals that only obey the law out of fear and will sneak around when they think they won't be caught. Those who require the rules of the Bible to guide them for fear of the retribution of God are truly moral-less for they do not make choices on their own but are purely driven by fear.1 point

That is an honest answer. I think it's one of the worst fears to be maimed so badly - I think of quadruplegics, or those who are paralyzed from the neck down. Not everyone want to commit suicide despite the condition they're in. Don't they have any dignity anymore? I think so highly of them - especially the ones who still try to make the best of it. They're an inspiration! If someone in their situation could still soldier on..... I think......the term dignity is being mis-used. It implies that those who can no longer care for their basic needs, had lost their dignity. They hadn't. Euthanasia should be described exactly what it is: mercy killing.1 point

No here it is. Your attempt to deny the Jewish connection to Jerusalem by re-writing history and using the word control was clumsy and failed. Your presuming to tell Jews they should create Israel in Germany and then trying to defend that idea speaks loudly as to the smell coming out of your words. What your words? I mean what? You suggest Jews build a nation where the holocaust was created and be questioned for that? You? I mean question you for not understanding why a Jew let alone any holocaust survivor would not want to start their life again in Germany is hateful? Oh hell no. Its sensitive. Its loving. Its affectionate. It shows a genuine affection for Jews and holocaust survivors it makes perfect sense. What how could anyone question your words right Gost. Its about control. Isn't it? Yes in one cheek you suggest Jews have no right to Jerusalem as they don't control it, then with the other cheek suggest they build a nation where they had no connection or control. Makes sense. Its logical. That's the thing about you. You never state anything contradictory, deliberately hateful, etc. The only thing from you are words of love for Jews and a respect and knowledge of Jewish history. There it is. Here it is again.1 point

Some have their children taken away by Children's Aid. However there is a difference which I doubt your leftwing mind can fathom between sending a child to Pakistan to terrorist training camp and then sending them to engage in terrorism in Afghanistan, as compared to passing on bigoted subjective opinions to children. I appreciate in your world anyone who does not have the exact same opinion as you is a red neck, problem is some of us consider your opinions to be fascist and reactionary. Getting back to the original issue of the thread, Trudeau now uses the court system for political patronage payback something this two faced sob once criticized Harper for.1 point

Then those black people are obviously racist, because they are judging that white person in your example solely based on the color of his/her skin. It's not a "difficult issue", it's a completely cut and dry issue, with the only difficulty being because many confused Western "progressives" believe that being racist is possible only if one is white. This is false enough in the context of Western countries, but is even more absurdly false when they try to project this framework onto other countries that they know nothing about.1 point

Great news cycle squirming today from all the usual suspects in Canada. Freeland was crying in New York....she and Trudeau sure do spend a lot of time in the U.S. How dare the U.S. impose tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum ! (Pssst...Canada already imposes tariffs on U.S. dairy and gypsum board...300%) "But we're a great ally !!!!" So what ? Cheap Chinese steel dumping is funneled through Canada to the U.S. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/powerandpolitics/power-and-politics-march-05-2018-1.45635651 point

Liberals ignore the increasing unease that Cdns feel for the escalating Muslim terror body count. Liberals see no reason to learn that British security and immigration- following the same Liberal inspired political doctrine as Cdn security does- ignored warnings from Italian cops re the Manchester bomber coming to Britain. Liberals refuse to believe that Cdns are uneasy with so called Liberal national security that is filled with loopholes. Cdns refuse to believe Muddled Justin when he tells us we must let Toronto 18 convicted terrorists stay here. Many Cdns do not believe that Liberal mandated changes to our immigration law are in our best interests. Reverse bigoted Liberal multicultural policy is creating fertile ground for future race riots in Canada. Most Cdns think Sharia Law offers reduced civil rights compared to current Cdn law- therefore bringing in Muslims is damaging to Cdn democracy. Liberal anti Islamophobia policy is so biased it is actually CREATING hate instead of ending it!1 point
