  1. Happy 150th! From your elder (if somewhat senile) neighbors to the south!

  2. What a childish response. This issue is not about you and your "tits". It is about values that clash with essential and fundamental democratic values the people who built this country and fought hard and died for and you turn in to an issue about your "tits"? It is his business and my business and this is not about your tits. We will not sit silently while people advocate and spread practices that are fundamentally destructive to a healthy democratic society and advocate my daughters and their daughters are in need of covering up. By the way in your zeal to sound smarmy you contradicted yourself and you really showed you can't grasp reality. The very cover up you defend would have you put in jail, tortured or killed for showing your "tits".Get a grip on reality and your tits. Its not Citizen or I who have a problem with your "tits" its the people you think you ally with in your zeal to try be oh so hip with your "gonna do what I feel like" self indulgent narcissistic tantrum,. Do what you want. Go on, travel to Riyadh. Tehran, Damascus or any Muslim country and see how long you last hanging your "tits' out. You haven't clue what "tits" you think you are sucking up to.

  4. OK...but just to be a smart ass I think you mean that you "could NOT" care less. My comment was only meant to highlight how yet another American framework was posed for Canada/Canadians....it's what I do, and I do it well.

  5. There are plenty of things that were laws or treaties written over 150 years ago that don't apply in 2017. Should were revisit all the laws of the 1800's? Treaties shouldn't apply, reserves don't work and you people clinging on to these archaic documents are part of the "First Nations" people's problems.

  6. Treaties are all outdated and shouldn't be recognized as anything except museum pieces. The world has moved on - sorry.

  7. And who are you? I suppose you speak for them? Yes this is Canada but those with hearts who care don't just close their eyes to atrocities and oppression all over the world. This includes violations of human rights and women's rights. You as a female should be more concerned and sensitive about your own gender than I am but you obviously are not. You ignore that hundreds of millions of women are being oppressed as we speak or refused equal rights or equal opportunities or education or work or even driving like in Arabia or forced to cover their faces and yes I don't speak for them but unlike you I don't try to cover up their sufferings and I try to attract the attention to their sufferings and then you would say it is none of my business!!!!.

  8. They were a lot more tolerant than other countries of that age and the degree of rule it had over territories within the empire varied greatly. It's the only reason a country of just over 20 million at the time was able to extend its influence over a quarter of the worlds population.

  16. Sheer nonsense. Poor little Iran is busy executing their own people for crimes that are laughable in the west. Just say the wrong thing to the wrong person and you will go to prison for life. Women must make sure they are covered. Caught committing "adultery"? Executed. Homos, immediately executed. These are the people you're defending while at the same time condemning the west, who protect you from these savages.

  20. Trump's tweets keep his opponents distracted from discussing more important issues. While Dems and their supporters have a fit over his every off-the-cuff comment, they don't discuss alternative liberal policies, new ideas for the future of their country. If Trump keeps it up they will approach the next election without a meaningful platform. The man's a genius...

  21. Trump wont apologize, and lets face it; no one wants him to. The media wont accept it anyway, they never would, they never will. The fact is; this tweet was the best thing to happen to the media in weeks. With the "fake media" scandals of CNN and the problems that democrats may be facing from the FBI, well, the media doesn't want to talk about that, and they don't want to talk about the bills that went through or the Koreans (both of them), nor do they want to talk about the energy rally. Trump wants to steer clear of drawing too much attention to these items too, why risk another embarrassing left wing riot? IOW, the tweet worked for both of them. CNN can have hours upon hours of air time and not actually talk about ...News! The media can effectively claim victimhood back again, so can women...and well, a female media person is the golden victim today. I heard everything from sexual harassment to the murder of media personalities, I even heard a lot of "what about the children" - yes, the hyperbole was in full swing last night. Interestingly enough, the media doesn't believe that their 24hour fear mongering ca incite a loon to shoot a republican (which did happen), yet they sure are worried that Trump calling out some bimbo will incite violence against them.

  22. The Liberal gov'ts Ontario have allready given them a huge swath of land including Algonquin Pk. and Ottawa, which they say, is just the beginning. Time to end apartheid reservations and do away with the Indian Act. We are ALL equals, no more race based preferential treatment. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/algonquin-ontario-land-claim-whiteduck-1.3810559

  24. I'm seeing the rewriting of history in favor of fantasy over reality. Renaming things that were never indigenous with indigenous names....etc. Propagating fake stories involving massacres of natives that never occurred...that sort of thing. History be damned...we have feels.

  26. The boogyman is always the excuse to go in there and blow shit up. Communists? Terrorists? There is always an excuse. It's too bad there are so many who fall for the excuses and continuously try to cover the atrocities that are committed by West's foreign policy, which is highly influenced by the military industrial complex, oil companies and foreign governments like Israel and more recently, Saudi Arabia. I think we should leave these people alone. Give them some time and let them figure shit out. When we prop up dictators and blow shit up, creating chaos, we obstruct development of economy, science, human rights and culture in general. We have been pushing development and cultures back by generations with our actions in the Middle East in the past century. These countries never get a chance to flourish and we, the West are complicit in that.
