You have probably heard by now that Rob Reiner died at his son's hands. His wife too. This is tragic. It is a time for the family to grieve and reflect. It is not time to pile on.

I hate this. Let it go. RR did not like us, but that is no reason to pile on now. He's gone. Let it go.

Yeah, it's pretty bad for him. I doubt it'll go down well. Sometimes it's best just to keep your mouth shut

RR didn't even KNOW YOU.

What he knew was just how EVIL Trump is, and Trump cannot stand being exposed like that, just like EVERY tin pot dictator.

This platform is vile, racist and evil. It did not take long for MAGA scum to come spread their lies.

Funny, that did not keep him from claiming we are all lying, racist and evil.

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

Trump's comment about RR was worse than his comments about Meghan Kelly "Bleeding from her eyes and her, wherever...".

Truly disgusting.

I'm happy that there's a 2-term limit. By 2029 he will have had enough time to do his thing.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

Wrong.

RR was also infected with the woke pathogen and it impaired his judgement. He was a great talent, but he swung too far left - just like you, robomarx, only you have ZERO talent.

RR was a cultist and a liar with no class or sense of decency. Still,

  1. Trump's comments remain highly inappropriate, beneath his office, and an embarrassment to conservatives worldwide
  2. Reiner's murder isn't something to celebrate
  3. it's insane that his son could do that to both his parents. I think there are tears worth of stories to come from this.

I wonder if Reiner made comments about the assassination attempts against Trump... It's not beneath him, he was as vulgar as Trump.

It’s a dumb post by him, but I just don’t give a f**k.  Especially coming from people that have spent the last few months celebrating and justifying Charlie Kirk’s death, as well as trashing his wife.  Wait now you want grace and compassion?  Go f **k yourselves.

Trump's comments were "highly inappropriate" but then you proceed to add your OWN IGNORANCE to the mix. 🤮

Reiner was very admirable in his comments regarding Kirk’s murder.

No one expects "grace and compassion" from Trump OR YOU.

Good, because you won’t get it.  Not after you and your ilk behaved post Kirk’s murder.  You don’t deserve it.

While I can certainly agree with the sentiment, the fact is just because they behave like complete tards and have no moral values doesn't always mean that we should be behaving the same way.

As is often said, the risk of hunting monsters is that you become a monster, and if you stare too long into the abyss the abyss will stare into you.

Agreed. He should have just shut up.

The news made me nostalgic so I watched an old All In The Family.

Its still hilarious.

You're a FOOL if you believe everyone on the left is the same wrt Kirk's murder.

Of doesn't understand the situation is completely different from what YOU BELIEVE.

The FACT is, Kirk was not a debater, he was a propagandist.

"Prove me wrong," has never been a legitimate debate tactic.

How Charlie Kirk mastered the illusion of stump "debates"

Quote

The editing process was as powerful as the stagecraft. Kirk’s team filmed hours of footage, then sliced away nuance. Only the “gotcha” moments survived — clips that made him look brilliant and students look unprepared. Students who made strong points often found those moments mysteriously missing from the final uploads.

This wasn’t a debate; it was propaganda repackaged as an intellectual triumph. His “Prove Me Wrong” format was misleading from the start. It suggested he was open to persuasion when, in fact, the entire setup prevented such an outcome.

Real debate requires humility — the possibility that one might be wrong. Kirk’s certainty was performative rather than earned.

Lol, now you’re trying to justify his murder! 😂

It was a clever show.  What’s crazy is how rightwingers these days think that show was perpetuating Archie Bunker’s attitudes as acceptable when it was actually mocking his backward thinking and bigotry.

Caroll O’Conner had a great interview about how Bunker was a deeply unhappy character because of the burdens of his bigotry and racism and how the world was passing him by.

Yes I am aware of all that. And, trust a Libbie to poo-poo comedy. Norman Lear gave us several shows depicting the working class reality of the 70's. It was funny then, and im happy to say, it's still funny.

Fully expected Trump to post something so disgusting. And here you go acting like this was a one off....

Nothing like when Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a woke Tranny and left wingers like Jimmy Kimmel decided to insert themselves into the story by claiming they were the true victims of Kirk's murder

Where did I do that?

Everyone with even a small amount of intellect knows Archie Bunker was a characature. Nobody thought or thinks the characature acceptable. Its understandable which makes it funny.

Even with your poo-poo.

Not just hilarious, it was literally culture changing. They did things on that show that up to that point were so forbidden it wasn't even funny. They talked about rape, they talked about infidelity, they had mixed racial couples, they made people talk about things that nobody was allowed to talk about. But they shoved them in people's face and made them have the conversations. Before them there was  a law that two people in a bed had to have at least  one foot on the floor each to show there wasn't anything hinky going on and here these guys are talking about all the things up front.

In that respect it was a TV show that changed the world around it and you just can't say enough about the kind of effort and risk and balls it takes to do that.
