Immigrants denied Carney his majority | National Post

Very interesting.

It would appear that immigrants are beginning to break for the right. I would imagine that a portion of that has to do with the liberals woke policies on things like gender changes for children and such, but I think a lot of it also has to do with a recognize that they're never going to get ahead unless the economy and affordability improve.

But this certainly does seem to fly in the face of the idea that immigrants vote liberal. It may be that they deeply regret letting in so many immigrants in the end

Is this any more interesting than the last time you posted it...only a few days ago?

Please, tell us more about how:

image.thumb.png.2e45f701dcbd1e6dd7614f4979ceac30.png

and how by "swept" you actually meant "flipped a handful of seats" and that the Liberals still hold something like 20 seats in the region.  🫠

Awww, is the little liberal voter upset that the conservatives made gains in ontario and that immigrants sided with the CPC? LOL!

Sorry it hurts your feelings bud. The conservatives did great and made great gains, And in fact I believe they made games just about every province except maybe some of the Atlantics.

And immigrants largely supported the conservatives based on the available information.

So the liberals have lost the immigrant vote, the youth vote, the middle class vote, and even the working vote if the number of unions backing PP is to be believed. The only thing the libs got was the left wing ndp vote. But they're never going to be able to hold on to that for long.

The conservatives are building a foundation that will be pretty hard to shake.

No wonder you're complaining about people talking about it :)

Funny how those who hate immigrants are cheering them on. Even as they insist on claiming that if you're a citizen eligible to vote, they'll still call you an immigrant.
White privilege at it's finest.

Psst...Hey jerk-off...My grandparents were "immigrants" who got Canadian citizenship. But they were still "immigrants" because they were not born here. Are you just stupid...or are you really fcking stupid?

They also insisted that there was a conspiracy to bring in “Liberal voters”.

I don't think that many people hate immigrants. I think there's a fair number of people who are extremely concerned with the level of immigration. Those are two very different things

And if the polling and other sources are to be believed, one of the largest blocks that hate excessive immigration are immigrants.

And you are immigrant for your whole life you dumbass :) Whether you're a citizen or not you're still an immigrant. Being an immigrant just means you moved here from somewhere else, and that's still true whether you are a citizen or not. I'm absolutely shocked that I had to explain this to you for a third time ;)  :)

I don't even know how this is a thing that he can't understand. Many Canadian citizens are immigrants but they don't stop being immigrants the moment they become Canadian citizens. They are still people who moved here from somewhere else and immigrated

Honestly it's comments like this that make you look at the left and shake your head and they can't understand why we don't take them seriously on these subjects.

At any rate, I have posted some significant research studies in the past that showed that immigrant votes actually don't amount to much and they don't vote as a block. They are also the least likely of the citizens to vote.

But it would seem that that's kind of changing a little bit and many of the immigrants are extremely unhappy with how the system worked under Trudeau and they prefer the conservative stance.

Obviously that something we should probably encourage and double down on if we can, it's unlikely that carney is going to stop bringing in excessive amounts of immigrants

Now that you've managed to Streisand the thread, if you don't feel a little stupid then it just shows you're as clueless as you are incompetent :)

Many immigrants  have conservative values.  Religion-based.

Visible immigrants went to Trump for conservative reasons.  It's highly likely we're going to see the same here.

Conservatives swept the 905...he says...except for Hamilton, Milton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Ajax, Pickering, Whitby...essentially anything outside of York region and the boonies.

LOL yes "something".  I think it was that justin trudeau, most hated prime minister in history, left  and trump announced that canada would become the 51'st state and carney took over being prime minister and leveraged that to look like he could handle trump.

"something".  WHat a tard.

Embarrassed myself by posting an article?

Uhhh sure.  Well that does explain why you never actually contribute that way and just run around crybabying at people :)  If you'd prefer to see something different then post your own thread.  I know i know.... that might require thinking or having an intelligent  thought or the like  but maybe give it a try :)

I suspect you're right, i suspect that some of the liberal culture war stuff rubbed them the wrong way.

But i also think they realize immigrants weren't getting the supports needed under justin because he was brinigng in so many the systems were overloaded.

Embarrassed yourself by reposting the same topic a few days after embarrassing yourself posting in it in your first attempt.

Conservatives swept the 905, he says, with ~20 Liberal MPs from the 905 in Parliament.  🤣👏

Yeah, nobody would find that embarrasing :)  Posting topics is pretty instrumental to the board. Nobody posts topics, there's not much discussion.  I guess that was too complex for you to think of. :)  So it's not really an embarrassment to post a topic. And i couldn't' remember if i'd posted it, didn't see it right away, posted it again. Pretty simple, again no embarrassment.  At least i'm contributing something other than salty tears, which is more than we can say for you :)

What's REALLY embarrasing is not knowing the difference between a variable and a constant :)  You figure that out yet? LOLOL  Three times you tried to get it right in that thread and every single time you made yourself look stupid :)

CdnFox,

Minority? In the US maybe.

Canada has a long tradition of voting Catholic. We are a Catholic country.

Carney is Catholic.

Not sure where you're going with that big guy.  Nobody thought of justin as a catholic at all.

LOLOL Well done, not everyone takes the time to post a graphic representation of their own stupidity :)

So you don't understand math.  AND you don't understand colour either :) Who changes your diapers for you?

That's how it works is it?  The more blue paint, the more winninging?  Kapuskasing-Timmins-Mushkegowuk is worth how much more than Mississauge-Streetsville, by your estimation?

That's probably why the Conservatives got the most seats (or swept?) Ontario too right?  Because more blue = winning?

Sigh. And once again you're having a complete hissy fit because you look stupid and you're furious.

"MAYBE ... MAYBE IF I TAKE SOMETHING HE SAID OUT OF CONTEXT AND POST A PICTURE SHOWING THE CONSERVATIVES DID WELL SOMEHOW I"LL BE MORE RIGHT AND MY MOMMY WILL LIKE ME AGAIN!!!!" (snif!)

Kid. The Conservatives did well in the 905.  You actually did screw up what a variable was in an equation vs a constant, that's a thing you really did.  And there's nothing embarrassing about posting a thread on a discussion board :)

You're a complete failure.  Oh.. and 100 -50 is 50.
