We don't dislike Americans, we hate that piece of shit Trump. It seems the old sayings Fool you twice, shame on you is not in the American lexicon and You can fool all of the people some of the time is scripture. Ya, let's clear things up here. (1) Why do you hate Elon's guts? Just asking. You are aware that, thanks to Elon, two American astronauts were brought back to earth after being stuck in orbit for over 8 months. Bidumb did nothing to try and rescue them. Bidumb left them stranded in space. Elon should be treated as a hero, and not be treated like shit by lefty losers like you. (2) Why do you hate Trump's guts? What did Trump ever do to you that he hate the man so much? Just asking? You should stick to Canadian affairs rather than always butting into other countries affairs. Just saying. IMHO, I like what Trump is doing for America. Trump is pro-American, not pro-Canadian. Trump loves his country, unlike the lefty liberals like you, that we have had running and ruining this country for decades now who truly do hate Canada. It would appear to me that you are going to be fooled twice if you vote for the liberals. Anyway, i hope that you answer my questions? Quote

Donalds cronies have floated the possibility of restructuring the Canadian/American border. An act that would take Canadian land. I know a lot of yall here are true trumpie cultists. So I'd like to know, how do yall like having Donald attack you like this? Are you starting to see donald for the felonious piece of shit he is? Or, are you still a brown-nosed suck-up to "king" donald? Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately for the World's economies, Americans chose a charlatan as their leader. There were major warning signs that went ignored. We thought it prudent to elect a man who bankrupted six casinos, to "fix" our economy. In very short order, he has turned the World against us, and has managed to cause a great economic disaster, not just in the U.S., but around the globe. I don't know how we are going to weather this. While I agreed with some things Trump advocated such as stopping all the illegal immigrants from coming in, I don't recall hearing about his plan to impose massive tariffs on his next door neighbours. So I can't agree with those who say Trump is a good choice. I think the tariff war he started with the rest of the world will be a disaster for the U.S. and the world. Nothing good will come out of it and probably a lot of harm. He claims industries are suddenly going to move to the U.S. and create jobs and wealth. I don't think that is how things work. He is cutting off the supply of low cost goods that our countries have imported from other countries. This will make life more expensive and difficult for everyone. Free trade has been a wonderful benefit for the U.S. and other countries they trade with. What a shame this is being destroyed. 1 Quote
herbie Posted Friday at 07:03 PM Report Posted Friday at 07:03 PM What I am astounded at is how people could get so stirred up they stormed Congress over totally fake 'stolen election' BS, yet we've seen no mass protests over this lying m0ron of a President disrupting the entire US & world economy, backstabbing allies, sucking up to Russia, and enacting reprehensible orders by decree on a daily basis. WTF is wrong with the US public? They're the ones getting f*cked over. Quote

Well - let's not get hasty with our conclusion. We don't know yet what will happen to the USA. This wouldn't be obvious overnight. As far as I know - Trump's concern is with the USA .........and, AMERICANS VOTED FOR HIM! We can't fault them for that. Lol - Democrats are like Trudeau. They'd driven the USA to the ground. Why did Americans vote for Trump? Because, Democrats caused it! Quote I don't know how we are going to weather this. I suppose only time will tell. I understand your anxiety. I feel the same too about Canada's future. But, let's keep a stiff upper lip about this. Consider this tariff trade war as a wake-up call to us Canadians. We have been caught unprepared - with our pants down around our ankles, so to speak. We have to work on and demand from our leaders, self-reliance! The first hurdle we have to overcome though, is on the leader we'd choose to unite behind. We need a decisive leader. Someone who's not afraid or cowed from doing what he thinks is best for CANADA. If we're gonna push back against Trump - and work on becoming self-reliant - we have to have someone with balls, like Trump. Edited Saturday at 11:09 AM by betsy Quote

Even OUR oil which flows from Alberta to ontario goes through the us, not canadian pipelines. We've stopped manufacturing a lot of things we should because what the heck, we can get it easy from the states. We have zero military. What little we had we gave to ukraine and now our guys don't even have as much ammo to practice shooting with as they should, never mind advanced stuff (not even kidding.) When you take power away from the equasion (electricity and oil) we actually buy more from the states than you buy from us, and we're a fraction of the size. The trade barriers between provinces hurt us more than a 25 percent tariff from the states would, and that's not MY opinon that's what the economists say. We have just been lazy and complacent. We can very easily change things in a few years to flip that back and rely far less on the USA. And that's what we should be doing, trump or no trump. He wasn't wrong about everything. Quote
