The assertion was that there's no state where killing a baby after birth is illegal, something Trump says a lot. 

They also said that late-term abortions amount to around 1% of total abortions and they're usually done because of the health of the mother or because there's some serious defect in the fetus.

My mother CHOSE to have her ventilator turned off at 88 yo, because her lungs were destroyed by pneumonia and she was never getting off the vent nor ever getting out of bed.
