Agree.

I kind of feel that way with the US elections right now.  I have no horse in that race, but I think the Dems could have run a french fry as a candidate and they all would have jumped on board.

Voting based on policies is almost completely gone.

That's not true. Biden is an Incumbent POTUS so there's no way the party could primary him, but it was obvious the grassroots enthusiasm for him had gone away.

To the point that him being at the top of the ticket hurt down ballot candidates. That's why he was encouraged to step down.

Waltz and Harris have captured enthusiasm from their party.

What are you talking about, then? 🤔

Are people voting for whoever is put forward as a candidate or not?

They clearly aren't. Because Biden would have lost.

There was a sentiment after that awful debate that he's still the best candidate they had because he had already beaten Trump. But he was down several points. The grassroots did not want to support him, or a party that would allow a man to try to maintain power well into his mid-80's.

So they brought in a younger candidate that spoke to the needs of the majority of the party. His Veep would be the logical conclusion for a predecessor. But the choice a middle-America Veep candidate herself has helped her.

I absolutely would have supported the fry -- although it'd have to be branded as a "freedom fry."

No fry--nor any other potato product, to the best of my knowledge--has ever attempted a coup to overthrow democracy in this country. So the fry is immediately the lesser evil.

Taylor swift is an entertainer. Right?

This is about as newsworthy as a king being endorsed by the court jester.

Only if the court jester has 265M followers on Tik Tok. LMAO

I'm pretty sure that if he would've killed for her endorsement, she would have endorsed him.

It's obvious that Trump never does the "killing," he incites his MAGA CULT GOONS to do it for him. Maybe you?

This is the problem, if you vote for a particular candidate because your favorite singer is, you are too stupid to vote.

How about if she just reminded you to register and 337,000 did? LMAO

Trump had the opportunity to talk about his policies like Harris DID, and FAILED To step up.

He did say he has THOUGHT about a plan to replace the ACA. LMAO

Lots of young women don't vote.

But will if TS convinces them it's cool and necessary.

Many vote AGAINST the other guy. Esp when he's a complete a-hole like Trump.

They don't vote. The either dream of being her, or getting a blow job from her.

Amazing how your cognitive dissonance is able to make you completely ignore REALITY.

In REALITY a significant percentage will be influenced to register and vote because they admire Swift.

Very few are confined to the belief system of of a 60+yo Canuck like you.
