To counter myata's "old boring liar" thread, I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where we can talk about all of Donald Trump's wonderful qualities. Sometimes you have to accentuate the positive, which is very easy to do with Trump because there is just so much to like.

To start things off, I will say I like that Trump talks like a regular guy. He doesn't act like a politician. I think this trait allows him to talk about important issues that other politicians would avoid for the sake of their popularity.

So here we go. We have a thread to discuss all the reasons the orange man is a pretty good fella. Have at it.

Yeah, the billionaire who inherited $400 is all in it for the little guy, which is why he told billionaires to give him money, because he would cut their taxes.  But the woman who grew up in Oakland and the school teacher/football coach/Guardsman are only in it to benefit millionaires.

1. Prolific lying about "rigged elections". Dozens of cases thrown out of court, had no effect on continuing lying even now.

2. Attempts to influence government officials to dereliction of duties. Participation in a conspiracy to overturn a free election before the courts.

3. Violation of campaign rules and repeated lying about it. Convicted by a jury of citizens.

4. Repeated lying about the causes of Putin's war and insinuations that a solution can be found at the expense of international law and rules-based order. Coddling and cowering to dictator thugs of the worst kind.

5. Repeated lying about pretty much anything. Vitriol, vicious attacks on political opponents that are causing concerns even within his own party.

There's more and more and more. All the attributes of your regular neighbor guy (but obviously, all depends on the neighborhood).

Having eyes and at least a small part of a working brain, there's nothing here one couldn't see or know. And without, no miracle cure can be found in this universe.

When I said the same thing about trans people you lost your mind about how unfair it was to say such a thing  

Generally speaking people talk about what trump is up to. Generally speaking that's because he's up to something. But over the last 4 years it's mostly been because the democrats want to keep talking about him. They wanted january 6th to be an insurrection when it really wasn't and they wanted him to be responsible when he really wasn't. So they kept talking trying to insist that it was until people agreed, which they didn't, which meant it continued.

When I didn't work and it became obvious he was going to run for re-election they tried to find every single possible thing to throw at him in court write down to jaywalking. And then we talked about his court cases and such everyday for months and months and months. 

Now he's the nominee in an election so of course they're going to talk about him. 

I honestly believe if the dems had just shut up after jan6 (prosecuted the actual offenders but that's it),  and not launched several hundred dumb lawsuits which were clearly politically motivated, and the left media had just stopped reporting on him,  that there's an excellent chance he wouldn't even be the nominee today and i guarantee he wouldn't be doing as well in the polls. 

The dems talked themselves into this mess.

There is nothing new about Trump today vs. yesterday. All the same information about him is available today as was a month ago.. Go ahead and keep saying the same thing over and over again. Repetition is not always a good thing.

sure there is.  It sounds like you really don't believe there should be political campaigns, we should just go to the polls and vote without comment.  It sounds like you think that democracy shouldn't involve discussion, debate, anything like that. 

If I'm being honest it doesn't sound like you're a fan of democracy in the first place. You frequently post how elections make no difference whatsoever, now it's that you shouldn't have to hear it from the candidates.

If democracy isn't your thing I'm sure there's any number of communist or dictatorship countries that would love to have your presence. He won’t do any of those things. 
1) If he closes the border, we will not be free to travel and we won’t be able to import or export any products.  This would kill virtually every industry in the United States.  What’s that? You say that’s not what you meant?  Then say what you mean, fool. 
 

2) There are about 11 million illegals living in the United States.  How can he physically move 11 million people in four years?  The largest bus ever made can hold 300 people, so it would take 37 million border crossings to transport them all out. Except we don’t have that many buses and we don’t have the capacity to build that many buses.  Or trucks or cattle cars. 
 

3) The United States is already energy independent. We are producing more gas and oil under Biden than we ever have in history. We don’t need to import any petroleum, but we do, because we also export petroleum.  And prices go up because they are controlled by OPEC, unless you’re suggesting price controls, or building more renewable energy, which reduces petroleum consumption, which lowers petroleum prices.  But you and Trump are against that.  So your BS story doesn’t stick.

Who says that having wealth means you can't be for the little guy or that growing up more normally makes you more in touch with the little guy. A lot of little guys will be voting for Trump because he says things they are thinking.

In some ways maybe that is true. A lot of the wonderful things about Trump are the same things that were wonderful about him years ago. The difference is those things have deepened. His wisdom has a greater depth to it. His character has a greater depth.

He even looks more Presidential now. Look at the emotion in that face and the strength just days after surviving an assassination attempt. This man is not in it for himself. He is old, and he has made more than enough money. He didn't need two years of lawfare. He didn't need to put his life in danger. Trump believes in something. I don't think I could say the same for the Democrat candidates.
