This was probably in the works for awhile and the Democrats shouldn't have pushed Biden out to debate knowing he's not the nominee. Seems they were trying to make Trump take unnecessary hits

The consensus is it will be cackling Kamala. I think Hillary has been making a play, though. That's why she was doing award shows and the talk show circuit.

I really thought Biden would have been gone by now, forced into retirement by whatever ails him.  But really, he never should have been allowed to put his hat in the ring 4 years ago.  Even worse, the legacy media has been covering for him ever since, every slip up.  Even now, during the recent Lester Holt interview, Biden referred to the Secret Service Director as a he.  Lester gently covered for him.  It was pathetic.  

The media has become the propaganda arm of whomever is in favour of WEF, WHO, etc., and so they dearly wish that Trump hadn’t turned his head at the last second.  It’s going to be a long 8 years for them as Vance wins in ‘28.

And Harris?  She’s a place holder, probably for big Michelle or Newsom.  It doesn’t matter who they put in there, this election will be one for the ages.

Hopefully Harris steps in, but I feel pretty good about a win for us regardless of who steps in.

Well, Biden is apparently putting up a fight on his way out the door.  It’s the beginnings of a civil war in the Democratic party, and I really hope Joe stays in for the DNC in August.  

No doubt he’s calling in favours, blackmailing and bribing for all he’s worth.  But the power base of the party such as the Obamas, Hilary, and the old guard, can see the writing on the wall.  After that debate Joe is unelectable and getting worse. 

But if he still refuses to go by mid August, the Democratic National Convention could be a disaster.  Fingers crossed!

It would be worth it for the sheer spectacle of it all. 

But without a doubt the damage in the party would be horrible.  It might be already, there's already lots of fighting over whether and how to force him out AND infighting over possible replacements.   This is going to hurt the downvote.  God help them all if trump gets in and controls the senate AND the congress.

I would judge Biden and Trump by their respective records in office. How was the cost of living under each president? Which one had the border more under control during his term? Which one had the more peaceful term with regard to military conflicts? Are the Taliban and ISIS bolder and stronger now or not? As Iran cheerfully races towards acquiring nuclear weapons they are stronger than ever, are they not?

Good point. The U.S. was a basketcase under Trump. They apparently couldn't even run an election or manage their own public health officers.

Perhaps you should revisit the 2016 election under Obama’s administration.  Apparently that election was a mess as well.  Russian hackers, Rioting and looting, Hilary declaring that Trump was an illegitimate president.  I even remember newscasters fearfully declaring that they didn’t know what they would tell their children.
