To be completely fair, in light of all the FBI lies, malfeasance and crimes uncovered during the Russian collusion witch hunt, the FBI shouldn't be allowed in the vicinity of Donald Trump.

It's like allowing Hamas to do security on elementary schools in Israel, or allowing the RCMP to investigate Rebel News.

We need police to monitor our police in North America.

as much as I really don't think that the FBI did anything horrendously wrong during the execution of this search warrant, even I have to admit you've got a point. As Hewart said, it's not enough for justice to be done, it must be seen to be done. In other words even if the FBI wants to CLAIM it was in the right, because of their past issues it doesn't look that way and that creates trust issues in the public. It really should be some other branch.

Plus they screwed up the evidence chain anyway so....

If the FBI intended to kill Trump, why did they execute the search warrant in August, when they knew perfectly well that Trump would be spending that entire month in New Jersey? It’s not difficult to know when the former president is going to be there, so why not search when he was around… unless they deliberately served the warrant when they knew he would not be there?

Yeah he is really trying very hard to pretend to be a friend and ally to both sides. A lot of his donors are pro palestine so it puts him in a difficult place.

he may have one but not want to release it just yet. I have a funny feeling it might involve permanent occupation. There's no chance he went through all of this only to turn the country back over and then wait for them to rebuild.

But admitting to that now may very well have a strong impact on whether or not people give him any more goodies.
