Senate moves to protect US from Trump

Where has Trump got this new popularity from? After all half of the voters fiercely hate him when as a lot of those who supported him in 2016 were disappointed with him as President. He talked the talk but didn't walk the walk.

They've been an embarrassment to the US since they started cheering on riots in 2014, but they no longer feel compelled to be underhanded about the way that they operate. They've gone full ****** now. Their vindictive, anti-democratic policies are out in the open.

I think there will be an actual crossing of the Rubicon soon. 

The politically cleansed National Guard troops are going to be back in DC at some point between now and Feb 2025, with no false pretence of supporting the constitution or fair elections.

This bill was co sponsored by Democrats and Republicans, Tim Kaine and Marco Rubio. Even if all the Democrats voted for it, 92 Republicans also voted in favour.

Trump never said that he wanted out of NATO, for starters. He just told NATO members that "he'd consider leaving NATO if the European members didn't start contributing", and it worked.
