Can someone please explain why this woman was pressured to step down?

Because she's a deplorable chud.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

Her opinions are reprehensible to the people she represents. So she has to go.

The tiny minority of people who agree with her don't understand the difference between facts and opinions, so they will call her opinions truth.

We need to bring DeSantis up here from Florida and bring some sense into our governments.

Critical Race Theory is being introduced under the cloak of culture studies.

Christianity in the form of Bible reading and any kind prayers was banned from many schools in Canada decades ago under the umbrella of so-called "multiculturalism".

A few years ago a native was allowed to hold a smudging ceremony in a school class in B.C.  A Christian student's mother complained that her daughter was being forced to be part of an anti-Christian religious practice.  This eventually went to court and the government argued and the judge ruled that the smudging ceremony was not a religious practice.  This is of course completely false.  Smudging ceremonies are all about trying to cleanse the room of evil spirits which is by its nature religious.

The teacher in allowing this smudging ceremony was forcing the class to participate in a heathen religious ceremony.

This goes against the ten commandments in the Bible.

"3  Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4  Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5  Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;"  Exodus 20:3 KJV

You no longer know right from wrong.  You don’t understand the values you claim to have.  Pride flags in schools are divisive for many reasons.  Making schools put them up against the values of so many people is wrong.  The fact that kids have been pushed and indoctrinated in these ideologies to the point of religious fervour illustrates the brainwashing.  That trustee’s meme is exactly right: Brainwashing is brainwashing.

Somewhere along the lines your unquestioning compliance overturned your ability to see reality.  Your claims of Christianity, respect for free speech, democracy, etc. are false.  The fact that you think that this trustee should be cancelled is yet another example.

You are part of the cancel mob, part of what ails our democracy.  Don’t worry, feel free to be you, a nihilist apologist.  I won’t ask for your cancellation.  Your agreement with Eyeball’s statement says it all.

I hope i'm wrong.

History can't hurt, as I feel it's good for people to understand what was.

Its understanding the good, the bad the ugly and if you're teaching it, you have a responsibility to teach it accurately.

You can't teach slavery, without talking about abolition.

Those in the black community too oppressed to feel sorry for themselves, and fighting for their rights.

Teaching victimhood, is a slap to the face to Martin Luther King. To Rosa Parks. These were warriors in their own right.

Just like teaching about aboriginal rights, cannot forget the many trailblazers in history, who didn't have time feeling sorry for themselves.

Sorry, but if you're painting whitey as bad and this group as victims, you cannot ignore the rampant issues that plague this community.

Many of which, are self inflicted.

History should simply present all facts and stay out of the way and let people make their own decisions.

Narrating this victimhood story line is to me, precisely what keeps that community from rising from the ashes.

Can you cite a referendum on that?

More recent polling does seem to indicate that there is a certain amount of sympathy for that general sentiment.

What proof do you have that the people she represents don't feel that way? THEY"RE not the ones pushing for her to be disciplined.

Do you really think that those children in both photos actually know what those flags stand or, and what those organizations are doing....or has someone used these children for a photo op to further their own causes or massages...in other words they have used the children to promote ideas that may not be acceptable to others...or their parents...

and we have seen just recently it is not a simple matter of a a tiny minority, but rather a large number of Canadians who don't want our children to be used as pawns in someone else game.

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

The OP is quite masochistic. As long as one gets on the internet and stays abreast of modern events.. one is going to see woke-ism for quite some time. If it is so abhorrent.. the solution is simple.

The Original Post was quoted verbatim from another source. Your assessment of me is another matter, but thanks for the chuckle . . .

This weekend is Reconciliation Day. Let's hear the whining begin that natives are "shoving a day off" down your throat and that there's no statutory "White Man Day".
If you're truly disgusted, go to work and refuse the overtime just to own the libs.
