Nobody said he was a comedian! ? First of all - Poilievre has his rights to express his views! Second - Pierre is sharing his views. UNLIKE YOU - YOU'VE RAMMED YOUR "VIEWS" ON US! DON'T TALK TO ME ABOUT, "IRRESPONSIBLE!" You don't know what it means. Trudeau had set us back billions of dollars by buying a second hand pipeline which we could've had for free - assuring us that it will be profitable. TRUDEAU GOT US INTO BUYING THAT SECOND HAND PIPELINE! He used............................... and, MIS-USED our money! What happened to that pipeline? It turned out to be a pipe dream! CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT? TRUDEAU HAS DROPPED IT! Thrown it out! No profit in it, he admits. Threw away billions! Just like that. Trudeau has gotten us to throw billions for nothing! And he has the gall to warn us? Hahahahaha ? Edited September 15, 2022 by betsy 1 Quote

Lol - that's up to people to decide. Trudeau makes himself a caricature by calling Poilievre irresponsible. Trudeau never even gave us a chance to decide what's to do with our money. Have we had a referendum on buying that second hand pipeline? NO. Trudeau regards taxpayers money as HIS money! Edited September 15, 2022 by betsy Quote

Moonbox Posted September 15, 2022 Report Posted September 15, 2022 The best part is that he's been making all of these crypto-bro noises amidst a general collapse in cryptocurrencies everywhere. Yes! Isn't Trudeau funny for criticizing and warning us about Poilievre's speculation, when he (Trudeau) did more than just speculate! You're still not getting it. whether PP's speculation on bitcoins is moronic, is not the point. Do you agree that Trudeau did more than just speculate on that second-hand pipeline - he actually bought it, and justified buying it by saying it was going to be profitable? Many critics were pointing out that it would be costly to make it up and running. Lol - talking about the 50% drop in the value of that bitcoin, is what's absurd! BIZARRE! Why are you getting yourself all tied up in knots over it.......we didn't lose 50% with it! Not even a cent! But we surely had lost 100% with Trudeau's speculation! WELL? Where's that pipeline now? DID WE GET A CENT OUT OF IT? Edited September 16, 2022 by betsy Quote

That's perfectly justified. To then pivot to Trudeau and pipelines, as if one has anything whatsoever to do with the other, is foolish. That's nothing but whataboutism. Feel free to criticize Trudeau for botching the pipeline file - you're fully justified there. The difference between the two situations was that it was perfectly reasonable to believe a pipeline could get built and operational and profitable in Canada, whereas proposing bitcoin as an alternative to central banking is not. herbie Posted September 16, 2022 Report Posted September 16, 2022 Moan. Trudeau bought the pipeline, and it's almost completed. Are you living in a dream world where someone will build more pipelines? Pipelines East is what was needed, it's way too late now no provinces are gonna co-operate. And if you haven't noticed yet, the world is getting off fossil fuels... As for bitcoin nonsense Trudeau nailed it. Last thing we want. But i don't think we are all that naive to think politicians will say anything to collect votes becasue that is the end objective right, get voted in and let reality set in and trash all those campaign promises or speeches. They say whatever the voters want too here. Kind of like the budget will balance itself or proclaiming to be a feminist. Everyone knew it was all BS and they were called out on it. A currency that's based on gobbling up energy to make a totally imaginary value. So, we can spend over 650 billion dollars not even blink an eye, and we could not build a simple pipeline... we don't build pipelines because current policies make it too difficult. building a pipeline will create good paying jobs, shit Justin had a huge scandal over saving jobs, and this project would create far more. Provinces do not have to agree, there are policies in place right now that would allow the federal government to proceed without provincial approval... Besides money talks and bullshit walks, all mighty dollar will convince anyone opposed. And the world is never going to be off fossil fuels, until a major science breakthrough happens. Canada's current policies are not going to help with climate change by itself, it is a global problem that needs a global solution, not tax the shit out of it and hope everything works out... and LP gas would help those that can't afford or don't want to play that would allow them to contribute and make a huge difference why would we not at least try to be part of the solution. Or are we still set on cutting off our nose despite our face. We talk a good game, but lack on execution.
