Considering your "facts" are just your own rabid conclusions and opinions, that's really circular logic ?

Yeah maybe I'm spreading "globalist propaganda".  Let's consider who's more likely to be lying:

1)  Russia, the invading country run by a 20-year despot whose opponents have a habit of being gunned down on the streets or being mysteriously poisoned by radioactive and/or nerve agents

or

2) The entirety of the rest of the world, outside of Russia and beacons of freedom like China and North Korea.

THIS is the central delusion of your demented world views.

LOL!  Like I said, if you're following Russian State media - I'm sure you could believe what you're saying there.  It's a pathetic revelation of your state of mind though.  When you're coping so badly with reality that Vladimir Putin is trustworthy but the rest of the world media (from Fox News, Al Jazeera, the BBC, Turkish News etc and all the way back to Canada) is all lying.

1. At the end of the day we are both just offering our opinions.

2. I guess we are in quite the pickle. Believe the Russians or believe the Western news media who claimed for four years without evidence that the former American president colluded with Russia, claimed that Iraq had WMD, slandered a 15 year old kid and has since been sued over it, claimed without evidence that the Freedom Convoy was funded by Vladimir, who covered up for child rapist Jeffrey Epstein and many other lies.

Seems they have an obsession with war or infotainment. Not real news.

3. I have no clue what you are talking about. The only time I consume News media for any period of time is when I'm in an airport or restaurant.

There is something from the WEF website about renewable(INTERMITTENT) energy in Germany's future. They plan to get 100% of their energy from...you guessed it, wind turbines and solar panels. This will happen by 2035.

We have seen this before here in Ontario, billions spent on wind turbines for very little actual energy output. All those "green jobs" never really materialized either.

So these are the people that are proud to be influencing our already inept Liberal government.?

Based on what though?  If a Green Energy Project fails does that mean that all Green Energy Projects will fail?

Not really much of a pickle - that's the sorry moral equivalency I was talking about earlier.  In what bizarre mental hellscape does the failure to deal with Jeffrey Epstein's crimes (Jeffrey Epstein, who was let off easy in 2007 by a friend of Trump and who was himself a friend of Trump) draw a favorable comparison of the Russian propaganda machine?!?!?!?

The key difference, of course, is that on one hand we have Putin's regime banning independent media, strictly controlling the State media's message and outright murdering their critics and political opponents at home and abroad.  On the other, we have hundreds of media organizations from around the world, coming from different cultures, perspectives and countries, all seeing and saying the same thing.

GEEE.  WHICH ONE IS MORE RELIABLE!???

Interesting read.

Let's examine results because more often than not, that's how motivations are identified.

Gas prices going insane. Hmmm...I believe I've read papers and articles predicting this in the not to distant past. If I remember correctly, this was supposed to be by design to ween people off gas powered cars. Interesting.

I've been wondering...with oil prices soaring at a rather alarming rate, why are we not drilling like crazy? Why are we still cancelling pipelines? None of this is reasonable. Unless of course...its by design.

I suppose it could all just be a product of circumstance. But that would strongly suggest that Biden, Merkle, Macron and the rest of the leaders of The West...are blithering idiots.

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

Regarding energy policy?  Yeah absolutely.

So you contend that all these leaders...including Trudeau...are short-sighted morons?

And on top of that, you would think we should be drilling, pipelining and refining like crazy?

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

The reason I’ve flipped politically toward the US Republicans is because it’s become ultra clear that protecting a lifestyle remotely resembling the standard of living that most Canadians value against the onslaught of climate change alarmism and the creeping fascist controls over human behaviour is by pushing back as hard as possible.  Trudeau is maintaining the punishing schedule of carbon taxes despite the dangerously high cost of living because it will end any discretionary spending, reduce our travel and the size of our living spaces, and it will put us on a track towards greater dependence on government and greater government control.  This is in keeping with the WEF plan and Trudeau is adamant about pushing this through against all opposition, no matter how unconstitutional or how much it “bites”.

No one is saying that we shouldn’t seek green alternatives where there’s bang for the buck or the costs aren’t heavy, but the current plan of adding carbon taxes and shutting down drilling despite hyperinflation and a military threat from an energy superpower, is a recipe for servitude and poverty.

Thing about these globalists is they like to dress up a very twisted agenda with fluffy language.

Bottom line is no matter how hard they try you'll never escape the laws of supply and demand. While they claim they are creating a more "fair" society, in reality they are harming those specifically at the bottom while concentrating power in the hands of a few. While they claim they can create a fairer society, they can't. It's just snake oil

Now as for your post, corporate media's primary interest is selling ad space. The position they take on certain issues addresses a specific target audience. Basic marketing 101.

So what about all the MSM hooey 101? You jumping on Zeitgeist's 'we were just kidding' hyperbole wagon too?

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

What hooey? ?

They tell stories to sell advertising. You've already agreed

You must be confusing me for someone else.

Where have I said the news channels all secretly gather together?

You certainly implied it when you agreed with another poster who can't shut up about MSM hooey while mentioning I watch to much CTV and parrot the media. Who do you think you're fooling?

Actually the media is NOT about making money.  Which seems strange but pushing a narrative is far more the agenda for them.  NY Times continues to push its George soros agenda yet continues to lose readers.  The family that runs NYT doesn't care.

Paranoid right-wing hooey.

Of course I know their motives are as typically mundane as that. Go tell it to your homies.

I guarantee you'll be called a full blown commie within minutes.

Still figuring out what you are but can't commit?

? mundane.

Means that most of the "news" is just infotainment to sell ad space.

When the media goes off the deep end and starts harassing 15 year old kids over a MAGA hat, we are at a crazy place in society

So it's not just CTV. When you say most of the news or THE media it sounds like you're saying most if not all of the industry has gone off the deep end or that its 'mostly' devoted to selling infotainment as opposed to reporting news.

This sort of sloppy ambiguous way of putting words to thought and pretending it's all hyperbole one minute and serious the next makes it really easy to conclude you're just a bunch of hopeless idiots. Without some consistent way of knowing what you really mean it's all just....hooey.

What's hyperbole? It's a fact that the media has turned into glorified tabloids
