So see everything online, on the radio, on tv and in print about housing issues and realize they still haven't even started rebuilding a whole burnt out town yet.
We're all f*cked.

Not yet though, you need a permit to get f*cked and that'll take at least 12 years to process....

Sad but true. I remember when it happened the  mayor saying that the town would be completely rebuilt within 3 years and thinking "oh buddy - you'll be lucky if you're not still doing paperwork to get it rolling in 3 years

2 1/2 years -  and now the first home and a grocery store have now started construction in Lytton.

I hadn't even heard it had gotten that far. So much for being fully rebuilt in 3      Man, what a sad situation. We may face another summer like that if we dont' start getting some snow in the hills.
