Indeed, but why they think that would have any effects on right wing nutjobs is beyond me.

As if I would care about being declaimed as a Nazi, just because I don't subscribe to National Socialism doesn't mean I find it to be taboo.

The Soviets were our stalwart allies in the Second World War, then the Fascists were back on our side in the Cold War; just win, baby.

The effect they want it to have on right wing nutjobs, is they want others to see them as Nazi's, because they know that it's loaded term with tons of baggage, and it makes easier to discredit their views than actually addressing their points.

They don't want anyone listening to right wing nutjobs like us, so they call us alt-right nazi's, but what they don't realize is that when they turn themselves into "the boy who cried nazi" because they end up calling everyone who is to the right of Antifa a Nazi, it diminishes the power of label they are trying to tar us with. It backfires on them in spectacular fashion when all the non-left wing nutjobs know that it's just a term used to refer to anyone who disagrees with the far left, which is what it has become through overuse.

I don't see how these labels really alter the balance of power when only money talks while bullshit actually walks.

Lots of rubes prefer walking to talking, especially the left wing nutjobs, who knew? We quick to say, it's just the game that's dealt, that gave them that rope, so they can hang themselves.

Thankfully nobody checks my ideology when I buy or sell shares.

No doubt AAPL doesn't agree with my politics, but they none the less paid my mortgage off for me, cha-ching, thanks, Steve Jobs.

If the far left had their way, they would check your ideology before doing business with you. They are trying to bully businesses into not doing business with "alt-right nazi's" and some of them are even caving, like most social media companies, and even Mastercard.

I'm okay with that, but that cuts both ways, like refusing to take money from gays to bake them a cake.

They are asserting that money is speech, so it's actually a fundamentally rightist position.

As per usual, the loonie left hangs their own, just keep feeding them rope.

The son of the senior who was harassed and intimated by ANTIFA thugs speaks out,  the only actual Nazi scum there was ANTIFA.

4 of the thugs have been arrested.

What these bullies did not realize is that I’ve already had an excellent teacher on the subject. My grandfather.

And unlike these misguided youth, he actually went to
Europe to kill Nazis. He served in England, Italy, France and Germany.

I’m not a Nazi. My family gave everything to stop them and I would do the same.

If you need to wear a mask when you assault people, who exactly are you?

Have to bring up Trump, eh? The last resort for all the alt-left liberals in Canada is to throw Trump in there when their Mr. Wonderful Trudeau gets called out on something he said or done that was wrong and they cannot back up his liberal corrupt actions. It's all Trumps fault.

It's all about Trump with Bubber.  He's pretty obsessed.  Even with a Canadian federal election looming.  It's still Trump 24/7 for him.

Why do these commie ANTIFA thugs never want to expose their faces? The so called "Nazi's" never hide their faces. Apparently, they are not afraid to show their faces. I think that the time has come to stop calling right wingers Nazi's or fascists and start calling the ones who are the real Nazi's. Those commie Antifa who call themselves SJW's. They have become the communist version of the communist Red Guards of the Mao communist dictatorship era. ANTIFA needs to be classified as terrorists and treated as such. Works for me.

This is why the right is kicking the lefts ass in America right now. One party turns on itself and shrinks it's base in a purity spiral,

Both parties are doing that.

4 were arrested for fighting, two from each side, to keep things even-handed. None have been charged. The police are mostly not interested in prosecuting people for crimes at demonstrations and protests unless their actions are against the police.

No, because the "right" doesn't embrace the Charlottesville white supremacists. They don't belong to either side.

The KKK on the other hand was founded by and remained part of the Democrats until the optics of that were finally too costly politically. Their longest serving Senator was actually a former grand wizard or cyclops and he just died a couple of years ago. Hillary called him her mentor. The KKK may have finally been finally orphaned by the Dems but no one took them under their wing here or in the US.

The Dems and Libs also embrace BLM and anti-Semitism within their parties, the Liberals here won't speak out against anti-Jew hate rallies, The Dems also embrace Antifa, although I don't think that Libs here vouch for them even though they won't call them out.

So:

Republicans/Conservatives:

-Neither historically nor currently vouching for any hate groups. Not afraid to call out hate groups for what they are.

Dems:

-Founders and long-time supporters of the KKK,

-Supporters of the BLM Movement

-Supporters of Antifa

-Prominent members are vocal anti-Semites

Liberals:

-Support BLM,

-Have tried to get two anti-Semites candidates on the ballot in the 2019 election and publicly refused to stand against anti-Semitic hate rallies,

-Won't make statements against Antifa

-have legitimized terrorism in several ways including; 1) calling islamic state members "fighters" instead of terrorists, 2) giving a known terrorist a large cash settlement despite the fact that there was no legal precedent for demanding that a POW gets a trial, 3) stopping the bombing of isis, 4) refusing to acknowledge that islamic state was committing genocide, 5) letting a terrorist who came here under false pretences keep his citizenship, 6) letting returning islamic state terrorists walk free, like normal returning soldiers, saying that "returning isis 'fighters' [terrorists] will be a powerful voice against radicalization" 7) refusing to open an investigation into a "returning isis fighter" who bragged on a US radio program about attending beheadings.

The Libs/Dems aren't good Bubber. Not good at all.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

Bug-juice is the new Kool-aid.

But I'm indifferent to the federal election because the two parties that can win are essentially the same. One campaigns to the left but, once in government, there is no telling a difference. Trump, however, is different. He's not conservative. He's just insane.

That’s just a lazy cop out answer.  No the two parties aren’t essentially the same.  For instance, there’d be no carbon tax right now if the conservatives were in office.  How’s that the same?  There’d be a pipeline right now, instead of just lip service.  How’s that the same?  Spending levels would be lower, so would the deficit.  The old age security age requirement would be 67 not 65.  How’s that the same?  Omar the child murderer wouldn’t have 10 million of our tax dollars.   There are dozens of other examples of differences in policy between the two so-called essentially similar parties.  But it’s easy and lazy to just pretend they’re the same.  It’s the in thing to do nowadays.

I'm sorry. You can't get me to care which one wins. But your latest status update is about U S. politics, so I guess you're arguing with yourself now.

I post about both countries politics.  But I care more about how our country is governed.  So should you.  It’s sad that somebody needs to tell you that.

You’re right, it’s not about you.  It’s about our country and the unethical leader you support.  But it’s only other countries leaders that you don’t tolerate unethical behaviour.

How many times do I have to say I think Trudeau should have resigned? Does that make it too hard for you to talk about me, so you have to pretend I support him? So you can still talk about me?

Of course you support him.  You defend him at every turn.  You tried to push The DPA spin constantly.  The ethics commissioner completely debunked that ridiculous defence, thankfully.

I didn't think the DPA thing was a big deal but it didn't get me to support him. Maybe you'd like to PM me your further observations about me so people on this forum can talk about something else.
