Seriously... The Republicans have embraced immorality.  I'm glad to have marital affairs out of the scope of public politics but they can't think that bringing this stuff up works anymore.

Indeed, the Moral Majority was an anchor, and Evangelicals don't so much vote for the GOP but rather against the Democrats with a passion.

Knock yourself out. Some people don't think Communism is a dirty word...like Bernie.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communism

A wikipedia article is your proof that Sanders is a communist? Laughable.

Not one member of this forum can clearly articulate with proof that Sanders is a communist.  Challenge is still open.....

The worst sort of communist, relies on the free market while extolling the virtues of Marxist-Leninism.

I only respect Communists with the courage of their convictions, prepared to liquidate millions for the World Socialist Revolution,

Go big or go home.

Hasta siempre, Commandante!

I bet she hoping they don't invoke the "adulteresses must be stoned" rule.

I think she is safe. First of all, she religiously married Ahmed Hirsi in 2002. Then, she married Ahmed Nur both religiously and legally after she had a religious divorce. In 2011, Omar and Elmi divorced religiously, but remained married legally. In 2012, Omar and Hirsi reconciled (no stoning here) and had a third child. In 2017, Omar legally divorced Elmi, and the following year, she legally married Hirsi. Now, I don't believe that guy is muslim. So, she only commits adultery legally, not religiously.

I don't wish to her the islamic punishment on her for adultery like that. But if it did happen, it would be something that happened to someone. Some stones hit someone's head.

There's nothing more unforgivable to a zealot than using the wrong words.  Bill Maher lost a whole TV show because he called the 911 terrorists 'brave'.  When you offend these people they truly go off.

Bill Maher is known for his stance against Muslim extremism.

And if someone at Fox News or in the RNC praised the Chrischurch killer in New Zealand, he would have gotten a worse treatment.

Because if you're an extremist, advocating or legitimizing, or even diminishing these acts of terror, you're an absolute ass and should be considered as such.

1. Hypothetically... but the White Supremacy scumbags don't really suicide themselves so not much to praise there.

2. Nobody should advocate, legitimize or diminish the acts of terror but people are terrified if you mention them in any context without condemning them and assume you're happy with the outcome.  This is the orthodoxy imposed on us by rightista groupthink.  God forbid you call their plan fiendishly brilliant or somesuch...

1. But I get it Mike, Ilhan is in the same tribe as yours, and as such, can't be criticized.

2. Plus she has a vagina, has a veil and is not white. 3 privilege points taken off her.

1. Case in point - you have woken up and suspect me of being a liberal so now I'm your enemy :D

2. Weird logic, and not my logic...

How hard is it to condemn Christchurch for a Right winger compared to Ilhan Omar condemning Muslim terrorism?

Have you seen right wingers, officials in the US even, say that Chrischurch 'just happened you know, someone did something'?

Her campaign funds seem to be a family affair too, I think she's in some doo doo

https://www.nationalreview.com/news/ilhan-omars-campaign-has-paid-over-200000-to-her-alleged-lover-for-fundraising-consulting

Representative Ilhan Omar’s (D., Minn.) campaigns have, since 2018, disbursed roughly $230,000 to a consulting firm owned by Tim Mynett, a fundraising strategist whose wife accused him of having an affair with Omar in a recent divorce filing obtained by the New York Post.

Omar’s 2018 campaign spent $62,674 on “fundraising consulting” services provided by the E Street Group and the spending has only increased since. The freshman Democrat’s 2020 reelection campaign has, according to FEC data, spent $160,000 on Mynett’s services thus far in 2019, nearly one-third of its total expenditures, despite it being an off year.

1. Should be the same situation.  I don't call for Conservatives to condemn every White Supremacist terrorist act, nor every Muslim to respond to 9/11

2. Worse, I see them say that it's a secret Muslim plot, that he was a leftist, that the government did this to help Muslims etc.

Yet, Conservatives still condemn these attacks.

Ilhan Omar diminishes the importance of thousands of lives lost in a single day by Muslim terrorists.

Ok, and Alex Jones also said Sandy Hook was a hoax.

But also a guy on the Internet called Hasan Piker said America deserved 911.

"Congress is a special, elite set," said the Viveca Novak, the Center's editorial and communications director. "Most members of Congress are millionaires."

And Sanders is pretty poor by senatorial standards, Novak said: Based on his 2013 financial disclosure forms, the independent ranked as the 86th richest member of his chamber.

1. Of course.  But that isn't saying anything.

2. That's out of context - she clearly wasn't intending to do that.

3. So ?

4. So ?

You ask about Conservatives and I answer, then you make general comments like:
-Some conservatives condemn white supremacists

-Alex Jones made a claim

-Some guy ...

You're reinforcing my points that rightista logic forces us to never offend people in these ways.  I'm fine with offending people if you intend to offend a deserving opponent, and apologizing if you offend unintentionally.  That's how civilized people work.

I accept your defeat. The challenge was to see if anyone could clearly show Sanders is a communist. The only things put out were tripe and nonsense. Nothing substantial. Par for the course for certain members who want to merely shitpost.
