qmuddy2 Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 i would love to see hillary run, one more time, in 2020 !! who agrees with me ? she would be a shoe-in win !!! thanks Quote
kimmy Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 No. She should move on. The fact that she couldn't even defeat the orange clown should make it unmistakably clear: Americans just don't want her to be President. Someone else will carry the torch. -k 1 Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)
Wilber Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 (edited) I think she would have done a good job but kimmy is probably right. Failed US presidential candidates don't get second chances. Edited March 12, 2017 by Wilber Quote "Never trust a man who has not a single redeeming vice". WSC

GostHacked Posted March 14, 2017 Report Posted March 14, 2017 Hillary Clinton failed twice to get to the White House. Next candidate please! Quote
Queenmandy85 Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 (edited) I suspect that the interference of the FBI director in the last week of the campaign cost her the election. That being said, I think her Presidency would be paralyzed by massive opposition from Congress and the Senate. By 2020, she will be considered too old. I think after the frothing idiocy of election-season rhetoric had died down, Republicans would have probably been able to work with Clinton a bit moreso than they did with Obama (she is far less liberal/progressive than Obama is). That said, yeah, she managed to lose to Trump of all people, so definitely time for a new candidate. Hopefully somebody younger instead of all these gerontocrats, too. 1 Quote
Topaz Posted March 19, 2017 Report Posted March 19, 2017 How can anyone support the Clinton's when they gave info. or equipment to North Korea and China and now the world is facing a possible nuke war with the crazy guy from N.K. Quote

That some career politician, or attorney, or partisan mafioso should be held, and maintain, deep respect. De facto legitimacy. The great thing about Trump, is that he destroyed that. We no longer MUST hold these criminals and clowns in high respect. When the president Tweets that the cow Meryl Streep is an overrated actress, we are met with pangs of embarrassment, followed by waves of joy… finally someone reverential… speaking the truth. Hilarious. Quote

There's some truth to this, but being more "real" has been done before, and has been also done with honesty and hard work. As you point out, "presidential" behaviour is superficial and that cuts two ways. Trump's numbers are down today - maybe because the better healthcare plan he promised hits his core supporters. He's down to 37% approval, with a tough week coming up... http://www.gallup.com/poll/201617/gallup-daily-trump-job-approval.aspx Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner
