Despite endless leftist whining, Donald Trump has had a great 1st month in the presidency. Here are just a few of his accomplishments:

- Put a freeze on all federal hiring outside of the Military.

- Pulled support for the Obama Drive to force women to allow men in their bathrooms.

- Ordered federal agencies to cut two regulations for every new one they propose.

- Issued an executive order asking the DOJ And Homeland Security to withhold “Federal Funds, Except As Mandated By Law” from Sanctuary Cities.

- Approved the Dakota Access Pipeline and the Keystone Pipeline.

- Killed the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal.

- Ordered construction of the Border Wall.

The one real accomplishment in there is killing the TPP. Thats a horrible deal that neither Canada or the US should have anything to do with.

Oh... so there's thousands of American nurses sitting around unemployed because those darned Canadian nurses keep taking their jobs? Ok.

Why can't they find jobs in Canada ?   Present excesses for  U.S. work visas by foreign nationals will be challenged by President Trump.

My guess is that some of these nurses are working illegally in the U.S. too.

Hey, they can spend 20% of GDP on defence for all I care. The irony is that the sacrifices they will have to make in the rest of their economy will probably make them less safe.

Using such logic, "they" could be even safer by disarming entirely, right ?    The U.S. could be even cheaper than....Canada.

It's the kind of logic I've come to expect from some.

Topaz, don't expect to go around accusing individuals of committing crimes without presenting any evidence, and not expect people to call you on it.

Call me on it ,I expect no less, but u have to know, at times, people have been accused of doing things when they were setup.

Pipeline's also not a bad thing, for Canada.
The list I put up there at least shows some of his priorities, such as making inroads to "drain the swamp". Looks to me like his priorities are
- Improve economy and US workforce
- Reduce government bloat
- Boost defence spending
- Enhance border security

In other words, same as practically any president would want to do for their country.

Today, Spicer kept the media waiting over an hour and then he went after the media when one of them ask about Trump and wiretapping.  Spicer read  news reports  of the media of the past year about the feds asking for wiretapping etc. The point was either those news reports were fake news OR the feds are lying about the wiretapping. The report said they wanted to spy on Trump and or Trump Tower. Spicer won this one. BTW, Trump waiting for 2 weeks... its because he's waiting for some documents.

Trump won't have anything and the crunch day is Monday when the security agencies have to tell congress what they actually know.

Maybe we can strive to go down to 'InfoWars' level, and then we will become Trump advisors.

The pipeline is a good thing for Canada but from the perspective of the US, they are supposed to become a net exporter of oil within the next decade or less... Quite possibly by the time that pipeline is finished. They don't really need it. I supposed the could refine it, and flog it to Asia, but there's not a whole lot of money in that. Even if it gets built its possible it will sit there empty. Especially if oil prices stay low.

For Canada the only pipeline that makes much sense is one to the east where we refine, and use the most oil.

A Russian bank, now that's a reliable source. May have, could be, possibly, a secret source, alleged,  yada yada yada. How about some actual evidence.

Trump says the US shouldn't police the world but he wants major increases in defence spending for a country that already spends more than the next nine countries combined. Do I detect a mixed message here?

I think you've missed that.

He wants top-grade equipments.

What exactly has he done to "drain the swamp"?   It appears his efforts to "drain the swamp" consist mostly of putting lobbyists out of work by hiring them to work directly for him, and make lobbying obsolete by giving corporations whatever they want.

Also, can you name one actual step he has taken to "improve economy and US workforce"?

So aircraft carriers are bad things?

Are nuclear weapons that don't use a paper ticker tape for targeting bad things or good things?

While I realize that some people are very excited at the thought of all that military hardware, the lady who thought Trump would end the wars and spend all that money to help people get healthcare must be very disappointed to learn that millions of people will be losing their healthcare while Trump cranks up military spending.
