America under President Trump

You have to remember he wasn't a politician but a business man and the rules are different and he's learning on the job, so to speak and he won't quit tweeting but he should watch his words.

So that's why he gets to accuse people of crimes without presenting any evidence. Back in the day, that was called slander, now it is just alternate facts.

Treason? Based on what exactly.

So you haven't seen real evidence of whatever it is. Because Trump

Collusion with the Russians to influence the election process is treason. I saw Trump say it was ridiculous to blame the Russians despite the fact the hack came from the Russians. That defence of them was enough evidence for me to conclude he must be colluding with them. Unless, of course, you can provide a plausible explanation why he would do that.

No it's not....U.S. Code clearly defines treason and influencing elections is not treason.

It's just a violation of election law(s).

Quote

18 U.S. Code § 2381 - Treason

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason

Nope. I remember the polls saying he didn't have a great chance to be president. I think you don't know what those percentages mean.

Bubber, one way or another the ending is inevitable. The good guys will NOT ride in on white horses and save the settlers from violent doom. Donald Trump won the presidency because he either got real “lucky” with the electoral vote or he was placed in the saddle to ride it into the tank by the real owners. Mr. Trump told the masses what they wanted to hear, he gave them hope for change (ever hear that one before?). The scary part was that Hilary Clinton the Thief told these rest of the thieves, Grifters, and Con Artist parasites out there that she would continue to fleece those that still work for a living out of what they earn and there were numerically more of them than there are of us. We are actually outnumbered now and that does not bode well for hope. Unfortunately the only change that we can expect will be for the worse.

It may take awhile, but balkanization awaits us. When the precursor conditions currently in place blow up in our faces, the dissolution of the United States as a unitary nation state could happen with surprising speed. Unfortunately there is always lots of “collateral damage” when these things happen and much woe will accrue to the inhabitants of this land when the shit goes down.

OK...but American history is dotted with the bloody footprints of "collateral damage".   Wouldn't be "America" without it.

President Trump is just another chapter in a long, violent, but ultimately successful story.

In the New Republic, members are FULL SPEED AHEAD in smashing the corrupt Deep State into a 1000 pieces.

And there is not a damn thing that can be done to stop it.

The Deep State, in desperation, is failing in the attempt to label supporters of the 4th Amendment as “Russian operatives.”

Trump has done a fair bit in 60 days.

Delivered President Trump in LESS THAN 1 WEEK
1) Pulled the US out of the TPP.
2) Directed agencies to start to soften and compromise Obamacare initiates and mandates that cause more burdens to states, insurance companies and individuals.
3) Ordered a 60-day review of federal regulations on domestic manufacturing and to offer a plan to streamline and expedite the permitting process for manufacturers.
4) Directed the INS and Border Patrol to stop “catch and release” of illegal aliens caught in criminal activity and to deport them immediately.
5) Initiated a policy to sanction any nations that refuse to accept deported criminal aliens. In addition, Trump has ordered the publication of crimes committed by illegals in sanctuary cities.
6) Initiated a ruling for all US agencies to cut off federal funds to sanctuary cities.
7) Directed that no US funds shall be used to pay for NGO services and counseling related to abortion overseas.
8) Committed to prevent China from exercising new territorial claims in the South China Sea. Secretary of State nominee Rex Tillerson has said that the US will not allow China to access its militarized artificial islands.
9) Placed a hold on the $221 million that Obama gave to the Palestinian Authority.
10) Signed an executive order restricting Muslim entry into the US from six countries, including Syria.
11) Eliminated Obama’s Climate Action plan.
12) Initiated a federal investigation of voting by illegal residents, and promised to strengthen voting procedures thereafter.
13) Opened an estimated $50 trillion worth of untapped shale oil and gas reserves on federal lands, and use the revenue to support public infrastructure building.
14) Blocked new EPA regulations on water rules, and put on hold all government regulations until further review.
15) Blocked EPA new coal regulations that are killing the industry.
16) Froze all hiring in federal agencies and blocked the last-minute hires by Obama.
17) Ordered agencies to “streamline and expedite … environmental reviews and approvals for all infrastructure projects,” particularly those deemed as “high priority” for the country — like updating the nation’s electric grid or critical bridges and highways.

To BE really fair, BOTH party leaders and their workers should be  investigate to see if any collusion. I'm waiting to see the after effects after Stone testifies next  week and how the Dems are going to connect him to unlawful activity with Russia because right now u could go to Jones website and listen to everything he going to say.

Tonight, after tuning in on MsNBC, CNN and FOX, the USA is getting messier because the first two channels had Dems. on, wanting to stop the Supreme Court  proceeding, coming  down on the Rep.leader of the Intel. Committee and the how he  handled the news, which they think it wrong and perhaps the committee should come to a halt.  then over on FOX, they think there's something there  in favour of Trump, so it looks like things are going to heat up within the committee Dems.vs Reps. and nothing will get done  and I have to wonder if the Dems are afraid of what Roger Stone may say next week?   Who are people suppose to believe?

You realize he's been president for less than two months, right? The proper answer is that nothing he has done has had any real impact as of yet. How could it have?

He has had a significant impact.  The stock market jumped up quite a bit signifying confidence the direction the U.S. is heading.  The proper answer is confidence.  It makes a big difference to everything.

Providing aid to an unfriendly foreign government to influence a domestic election, however, is treason as well as a violation of election laws. Perhaps you can think of a "but Hillary" line now to make you feel like less of a sucker.

The stock market would have risen regardless. The only thing the election did was bring some clarity to things since it gave the Republicans the ability to actually govern, and, the market thought, eliminated the deadlocked condition of the government Now, as it looks like the deadlocks will continue, the market is slowing.

All "other" governments are foreign...including Canada/Canadians, which also tried to influence the U.S. election.

Sorry...it ain't treason...doesn't meet the elements of the offense.   But does make for great drama !

Even Edward Snowden is not charged with treason....just espionage.

I think many people are going to have egg on their faces  or eat crow when all this comes out. I do know some of it...apparently the CIA and or FBI have been spying on 600 Americans, some business  people, actors news reporters, politicians and the FBI has been sitting on it for the last 2 years plus the fact the "Russia" thing is a scam. The purpose of the  is to push Trump out of  office and put the committee hearings on stall mode. Fox  news ..Hannity is going to open this up tonight.

Well, we already knew that Obama spied/wiretapped Chancellor Merkel and other foreign leaders, so it is not surprising.

Former NSA and CIA Director Michael Hayden already explained how U.S, citizens are routinely caught in intelligence intercepts.

The practical and political problem is that Donald Trump, now the sitting president, has the resources and access to blow the lid off of the entire game.

For the past 6 years people accused Obama of being unable to negotiate because he couldn't make deals with the Tea Partyists in Congress.  Now that the so-called Freedom Caucus have pledged to kill "Trumpcare" because it's not draconian enough for their liking, it appears that maybe it wasn't Obama who couldn't make deals, maybe it was these Tea Partyists.

What's the rush?  The Republicans were content to let Scalia's seat go vacant for 10 months waiting for the election. Surely it can stay vacant for a little longer while the Russia mess gets investigated.

Why on earth would the Democrats be afraid of anything Roger Stone has to say?  If he had anything damaging to the Democrats, he would have spilled it long ago. Roger Stone was part of the Republican campaign, and a Trump advisor.  Roger Stone has also bragged about having contacts with "Guccifer 2.0", the hacker who claims to have hacked the Democrats last summer. Roger Stone claimed to have discuss the hacks with "Guccifer".   Roger Stone also bragged about having "back channel access" to WikiLeaks.

There are only 3 possibilities here:

A ) Roger Stone is a big fat liar.

B ) Roger Stone is the link between the Republican campaign and the hacking of the Democrats.

C ) both A and B are true.

Either B or C would be extremely bad news for the Republicans. So if anybody is worried about Roger Stone, it's you-know-who.  Who knows what might come out of Stone's twitter account next time he goes on a bender?  If Stone has any "accidents" in the near future, it's not the Democrats you should be looking at.
