-TSS- Posted February 18, 2017 Report Posted February 18, 2017 One can't help getting an impression that Trump isn't very familiar with the US constitution; things like how each branch of government functions and what are the limits to their power. Quote

Not that so much....President Obama was a constitutional law professor but some of his executive orders and actions were still overridden by the courts or Congress. President Trump is struggling with the basic mechanics and politics of the U.S. federal government, even with his own party. POTUS is very different from CEO. 1 Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

Omni Posted February 18, 2017 Report Posted February 18, 2017 Trump seems to have taken to hanging around hangars lately. So now he's in one in Florida holding another "campaign rally". When is he going to figure out the campaign is over, that he lost the popular vote, that he didn't have the highest electoral college votes ever, and that perhaps it is time to start trying to govern? Oh well, Floridians did support him so I image the hangar will be yuuugely full. http://www.vocativ.com/403839/donald-trump-is-already-holding-another-campaign-rally/ 2 1 Quote
Omni Posted February 19, 2017 Report Posted February 19, 2017 I see Trump went all "crybaby" toward the press yet again today in Florida. Is it perhaps that orange crap he sprays himself with that makes his skin so thin? 3 3 Quote

OftenWrong Posted February 19, 2017 Report Posted February 19, 2017 Despite endless leftist whining, Donald Trump has had a great 1st month in the presidency. Here are just a few of his accomplishments: - Put a freeze on all federal hiring outside of the Military. - Pulled support for the Obama Drive to force women to allow men in their bathrooms. - Ordered federal agencies to cut two regulations for every new one they propose. - Issued an executive order asking the DOJ And Homeland Security to withhold “Federal Funds, Except As Mandated By Law” from Sanctuary Cities. - Approved the Dakota Access Pipeline and the Keystone Pipeline. - Killed the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal. - Ordered construction of the Border Wall. 1 Quote

Here are just a few of his accomplishments: You forgot the great support he has from the black community, did you see the signs behind him at his rally today. Check out the signs that link to Gods2.com or blacksfortrump2020.com which redirect to the site honestfact.com, a crudely designed conspiracy theorist website clearly run by someone who is not mentally stable. “THE ISHMAELITES ARABS & EAST INDIANS ALWAYS HAD BLACK AMERICAN HEBREWS IN SLAVERY,” reads one post on the site. The website honestfact.com is owned by Michael Nicholson with a North Miami address. The site also shows videos of Nicholson endorsing Trump and singing the billionaire real estate mogul’s praises in interviews with local TV stations. It appears that Nicholson used to belong to the murderous gang known as “Yahweh Ben Yahweh,” and has a lengthy criminal record. New York Magazine reported last year about how Nicholson quickly became Republican primary candidates’ favorite black person, being spotted alongside former Rick Santorum and having the loud endorsement of Glenn Beck due to his extreme views about Barack Obama. In the early ‘90s, Nicholson and 15 other members of Yahweh ben Yahweh were charged with conspiring in two murders, and even though his own brother testified that Michael stabbed a man in the eye with a sharp stick, he was let off by a Florida jury. In the decades since, he’s become a novel figure in South Florida, racking up criminal charges but no convictions and running a radio show that features his rants on “Demon-crats.” Quote

Trudeau or Trump, tearing up the work of others isn't an accomplishment of your own. Let's take the ordering federal agencies to get rid of two regulations for every one they make. Instead getting people to sit down and thoughtfully decide which regulations are actually needed and which aren't, he comes up with this gem. What kind of giant intellect does it take come up with something like that? None. Things like this, the travel ban fiasco and Mexico paying for the wall demonstrate how little thought he actually puts into policy. It is all about the show, he has no desire or time for substance. Too busy Tweeting about people he says are trying to screw him and whining about the media. Quote "Never trust a man who has not a single redeeming vice". WSC

Trump is changing the direction of America. That's hardly "all about the show". Do you think Trump will accomplish nothing? Just sit back and watch. Check out that list, that is only in a few weeks. No more pervs allowed in the ladies washroom,,, I like that one. What you see is only the beginning. While liberals banter on about how Trump is a vile, poisonous monster, the Commander in Chief has been a busy fella. Quote

-TSS- Posted February 19, 2017 Report Posted February 19, 2017 11bn dollars was one price-tag mentioned how much the infamous wall would cost. Seems like a lot of money but to put things in perspective one must remember that the federal government spends that much in two days anyway. Quote
