You have to separate the religion as the cause versus the geopolitics or other factors from the region.

Please provide proof of that assertion.

What are we supposed to get from your story ? These people you met are bad people ? And therefore anybody who doesn't like people not them are bad people ? Or are we supposed to believe that all Muslims are like your neighbours ?

If I have to explain the story to you then you have missed the point or you are in total denial about Muslims disliking others.

There are many like them and I have talked with many so I would suggest you be direct and honest when you talk with any group .

Problem is when you ask a question here in Canada lately that does not subscribe to the mainstream thinking you get branded a racist , called names

and generally be put aside. I do not apologize for asking if immigrants here think they are Canadian or if they want to see this country more like they belive it should be. Sooner or later this will have to be answered and hopefully in a peaceful way which I doubt given the anger I see on either side here on these pages.

I worked in the USA for 11 years across 8 states with the last 6 years in Alaska.Ukraine and Russia for 2 years then in Chile for a year I speak with many people from all cultures and we have had some very candid conversations which we find very constructive and informed on both sides.

Anyone reading this read my first post as I will not write out again what I said to save space.

We need to keep our ways here and those who come here will have to conform to it .

I have to fly out for work monday and will not be back until mid January so I want to wish all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Baseless opinions how quaint , I wrote what I have seen and heard and whether you believe me or not doesn't change the fact .

I would suggest looking into this yourself and asking these questions but most are afraid to and find it easier to ridicule others .

Being that I did not record thes conversations it is impossible to "prove " them to you and even if I could I do not think you would listen.

Yes this is my opinion based on the many we have talked to and I am sorry that you feel threatened by it.

What a loony world you must live in if you imagine you can just "engage" with ultra-orthodox zealots as a "challenge" and change their views.

"Scared" doesn't enter into it... I simply choose not to live in an environment where people are harassed and threatened and spat upon for not conforming to the views of religious fanatics.

My point kimmy is that we shouldn't hide from these ethnic neighbourhoods. Why not explore them and expose them.
