A/ an adult terrorist gets subjected to some physical discomfort in the effort to save people's lives ...or... B/ an innocent unborn child is cut up and ripped apart at the behest of the mother because he's inconvenient. The former is practical and logical, the latter is purely barbaric. Yet many on the left are offended by A/, yet think B/ is a right. Moral compass? Broken. False analogy. A good number of the people who were subjected to "enhanced interregations techniques" were completely innocent. So you're ok with that, but we'r ethe ones with a broken moral compass? Quote

I'm just trying to figure out why simulated drowning on a known adult terrorist is so abhorrent, but a scalpal to the back of the head of a 7 month unborn baby is acceptable to you people. It's somewhat confusing. Not sure why you're so confused since you yourself are engaged in the same moral gymnastics you accuse others of. Take your time. I'll hang up and listen. Quote

Sharkman's is an abhorrent position that excuses torture as some morally subjective issue that is neither right nor wrong.
