jacee Posted October 25, 2013 Report Posted October 25, 2013 Radio link?I see.http://www.nationalpost.com/m/wp/blog.html?b=news.nationalpost.com/2013/10/22/judge-ordering-release-of-rob-fords-letter-supporting-alleged-drug-dealer-alexander-lisi Cripes, he wrote the personal letters of reference for criminals on his City/Mayor letterhead!! <facepalm> And Lisi his drug dealer is going to get a job at City Hall via his "good friend" the mayor. Well ... at least that'll save the taxpayers some time if Rob doesn't have to drive all the way to Lisi's house for his drugs! . Quote
cybercoma Posted October 25, 2013 Report Posted October 25, 2013 Ford's no Kwame Kilpatrick that's for damn sure. Quote
On Guard for Thee Posted October 26, 2013 Report Posted October 26, 2013 I really get a kick out of the radio show Saturday am's when he and bro Doug get together. Now there's some slap stick comedy for ya! Well, except when you recall one of these guys is the mayor of Canada's largest city. Ah never mind, crack a beer, suck back on a big fattie and just be one of "the boys" for a bit. Quote
Mighty AC Posted October 26, 2013 Report Posted October 26, 2013 Aye it is very sad when you remember that Rob Ford has more constituents than the premiers or first ministers of 10 provinces and territories. guyser Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 Not that he deserves one but Rob cant catch a break these days. Tim Leiwicke, honcho of MSL&E called him Tommy Boy in a speech last night. Oh and apparently we are to get a Stanley Cup sometime soon. (Is that ok BD ? ) http://sports.nationalpost.com/2013/10/29/mlse-president-tim-leiweke-promises-toronto-maple-leafs-stanley-cup-parade-says-rob-ford-is-like-tommy-boy/ Quote
Black Dog Posted October 31, 2013 Report Posted October 31, 2013 Lisi investigation documents coming out today. Should be entertaining. Ford already shoved a couple of reporters who were trying to scrum him at his home. Quote
Boges Posted October 31, 2013 Report Posted October 31, 2013 Only with Ford, is camping out at his house acceptable. Where are the reporters camping outside Kathleen Wynne's house? Quote
jacee Posted October 31, 2013 Report Posted October 31, 2013 Lisi investigation documents coming out today. Should be entertaining. Ford already shoved a couple of reporters who were trying to scrum him at his home. City hall has released a pile of emails, noticeably missing the time of the key discussions of crack video allegations. That omission seems to me an admission of guilt, frankly. http://www.nationalpost.com/m/wp/blog.html?b=news.nationalpost.com/2013/10/31/na1031-ford The night before the release of a court document Wednesday morning that could show links between Mayor Rob Ford and a criminal investigation, the City of Toronto disclosed a batch of emails belonging to his staff, but devoid of any correspondence of two key aides in the days after explosive crack allegations broke. ... In the case of Mr. Petrujkic, who was then a senior policy advisor and director of council affairs, the emails released stop just before the crack allegations surfaced. There is a gap in the emails between May 14 and May 22. There are a smattering of emails on May 22 and then no email at all until May 27. The resumption of emails includes the letters announcing the firing of Mark Towhey, the mayors chief of staff, and the resignations of Mr. Christopoulos and staffers Isaac Ransom, Brian Johnston and Kia Nejatian. Ford already shoved a couple of reporters who were trying to scrum him at his home. I'll be the first to say, no smoking gun (as relates to the info released)......yet. However there is a mountain of other stuff that Rob will have to answer for. Like why would you have Lisi deliver dry cleaning to you from the busted dry cleaners? Why meet Lisi yet neither acknowledge each other? What were in the packages exchanged between the two of you? Why would Lisi jump into your car only to emerge a minute later without anything in his hands? But the good news is we at least now know where the Mayor is during weekend afternoons. Underground garages , gas stations eating junk food with periodic bathroom exchanges. Ha.....who needs a video , this is way more fun. All those who worried about his health should really be concerned today. Looks good on Doug too. Quote
guyser Posted October 31, 2013 Report Posted October 31, 2013 What is also becoming clear, and should be addressed shortly by the Chief of Police is that the entire investigation was not on Lisi, not on the dry cleaners, not on the video people, but on Rob Ford. Ford Nation .....looking completely stupid tody. Quote
Boges Posted October 31, 2013 Report Posted October 31, 2013 (edited) Just heard on the radio that the Police Chief has confirmed "The Video" does exist. UH OH!!!! I wonder if it'll be made public. The police might arrest him now. Edited October 31, 2013 by Boges Quote

Boges Posted October 31, 2013 Report Posted October 31, 2013 He's said there's no way to prove if he's doing something illegal in the video so no charges will likely result. The only person they could charge is Lisi. Quote

Boges Posted October 31, 2013 Report Posted October 31, 2013 Even though Ford probably won't get charged. His only play right now is to step down, call Chief Blair a liar or do a Mia Culpa. Quote

Boges Posted October 31, 2013 Report Posted October 31, 2013 Wow they got it from a deleted file off a HD so Ford probably thought it was gonzo. Quote
jacee Posted October 31, 2013 Report Posted October 31, 2013 Holy cow! I wasn't expecting it to be this clear. http://www.nationalpost.com/m/wp/blog.html?b=news.nationalpost.com/2013/10/31/rob-ford-crack-video-the-focus-of-investigation-drug-trafficking-search-warrant-documents-say Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair says investigators have recovered a digital video file that depicts Mayor Rob Ford and is consistent with what had been previously described in various media reports. ... The police chief said he was disappointed after viewing the video.Chief Blair said the video was recovered as part of the Project Traveller raids on alleged gang activity in the citys northwest end this summer. I think its fair to say the mayor does appear in that video but Im not going to get into the detail of what activities is depicted in that video, Chief Blair said in a news conference at a police headquarters. He said it is consistent with what had been previously described in various media reports. Quote
guyser Posted October 31, 2013 Report Posted October 31, 2013 So Shady, about that video.... LOL. I doubt any response will come forth from the complete nonsense guy. Quote
guyser Posted October 31, 2013 Report Posted October 31, 2013 He said it is consistent with what had been previously described in various media reports. Noooo....it cant be. The Sun said it was a Star conspiracy, others said it was an agenda of the Star cuz they dont like the right stance from the Mayor..... Did I forget anything? Oh they must be positively dancing at 1 Yonge St right now. Those who thought this was a hack job can stuff it where the sun dont shine. Quote
Boges Posted October 31, 2013 Report Posted October 31, 2013 (edited) When did the Sun say that it was a Star conspiracy? The Sun was critical of how the Mayor has handled this as well. Edited October 31, 2013 by Boges Quote
