Every 3 to 4 days between 2005 and 2012 an African American was killed by a white cop. African Americans are three times as likely to be shot by the police in the US than white people. But don't worry. Racism is over, guys.

I fail to see how your response is relevant given the question I asked. Did you not understand my question perhaps? I specifically asked about shootings, not Homicides. Further to that I really don't believe any person has killed thousands in Toronto. As such I would say your response is undisputably meaningless hyperbole.
-
Full power to the strawman Angus! You keep pushing your strawman, hold it up high for everyone to see, then exclaim, "Behold everyone, the debate is now about what I present to you! Everything else that anyone may bring forward to the debate has no relevance! Therefore, I am right!"
-
Now you have me laughing. You talk about strawmen right after you post some hypothetical nonsense about killing thousands and being heralded a hero! Do you actually read what you post? Your original statement was a strawman of such epic proportions that you hands down win the irrelevant post of the decade without contest.

All 50 US states are below freezing. Can we give the global warming nonsense a rest now?

All that matters is that I'm warm.

Regional weather doesn't = global climate. 1 cold year doesn't = climate.
-
Yep, there are them whut reckon's if it was cold in Hooterville today it dang well musta been cold evrawhere.
-
Must be a spring election in the works. The sock puppets are out in full force.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised. Harper promised he wouldn't do that but of course we know valid those things are. There are a lot of chickens coming home to roost (Duffy trial to name a biggy)smack in the middle of campaign time if he sticks to the current date. Could get a little embarrassing for him.

This forum needs a lesson in when things need to be cited and when they don't. ProTip: Opinions don't need to be cited. Facts do.

Seriously, with all of the crap factoid websites out there, both right and left wing, cites don't mean as much as they used to.
-
Yes, but if all you can cite is a crap factoid website, that gives us reason to believe you're full of crap.

Police in Florida have charged a 90-year-old man and 2 pastors for feeding the poor. What was that you were saying, Michael?

Can someone explain to Argus they were feeding people, not stray cats.

Land of the free... right?

Dean Del Mastro says his conviction is like just the judge's opinion, man.

yeah, well, that's just his opinion, man.

He never said MAN!

I don't quite get what he wants to do with the case. Other than that he might be able to seek reelection if he can cause a delay. Did I just answer my own question?

Mulcair asks Harper if he will work with all parties to develop new anti-terror laws. Harper's answer is essentially, "no."

It's not about colour or race. It's about radical Islamic ideology.
-
Call it whatever you want, Harper is cashing in! The only problem Harper has is that it doesn't happen enough for him to get a bigger poll boost and ME aggressive expansion campaign.
-
Imagined, radical, Islamic, ideology.

Our "ally," Saudi Arabia, has had more state-sanctioned beheading this year than ISIS.

I guess now we don't really need their oil that much we may as well go ahead and bomb them.

Harper is reeking of desperation with talk of a hidden conspiracy to bring back the gun registry.

Most of what Harper has been up to lately reeks of desperation. Guttung copyright for his attack ads, moving towrd decrim. of pot laws, a little flash in the pan in Iraq. He must find some way to dislodge those damn polls.
-
They don't like the taste of their own hidden agenda medicine being thrown back in their faces. Typical hypocrisy.
-
I've never claimed Harper has a hidden agenda. Don't believe me? Go ahead and use the search function, punch in hidden agenda and limit the search to my posts.

"I believe the best contribution Canada can make is by engaging in massive, not token, humanitarian assistance. It is why in answer to the questions asked of me, I support the position of Justin Trudeau," former prime minister Jean Chrétien writes in a column for The Globe and Mail: http://trib.al/Th1WzAu

Funny. Tom Mulcair is rebranding the Liberal childcare program before Trudeau announces it in his platform.

It might not be so "meaningless" if you're black and just got pulled over for speeding. Be damn careful how you reach for your DL!

And apparently those stats, while the only one's available are severly under reported as there is no requirement for individual law enforcement agencies to report.

The NDP motion to make the executive branch more accountable receives support from all parties, including a few of the CPC backbenchers. Still doesn't pass though. Harper's government doesn't care about accountability.

Shady, I assume you're a grown man capable of looking up the details of this story that has been on the front page of every news outlet on your own, but give me a minute and I will give you a link to the proposed text which is virtually the same as the old text.

Let me be clear on something, the conservatives on the forum are correct. Inequality is not a problem. Rising inequality is the problem. It's unsustainable and will inevitably lead to either a police state or revolt.
-
Ezra Levant is great. Keep sabotaging the Conservatives. That's perfect.

Fox news stubs their stupid toes again. Joke about female fighter pilot "boobs on the ground" Where does Fox go to gind these morons?
-
If she was infantry that might fit. But she is air force. So 'boobs away' would be a better fit.

I guess one's as dumb as the other now you mention it.

Most votes counted and the NB election is sitting at 24 Lib, 24 PC, 1 Green. Wow.

How NB voted and what they got: http://goo.gl/D5kwNe

I thought New Brunswick was a dictatorship.....
-
Despite the commanding lead that Brian Gallant's Liberals had at the outset of the NB Election. I'm going to guess the results Monday will be 29 seats to the Liberals and 20 seats to the Tories. The wheels fell off the NBLA days before the vote.
-
Gallant's massive lead in the polls has shrunk substantially leading into the NB election. The latest #s puts Tories in striking distance. These #s are before Gallant complete screwed up his tax figures on CBC.

Yeah. Warren Kinsella just was talking about that on Sun News. I rarely say this about many politicians, but Brian Gallant, imho, is a sock puppet. He's a pretty boy tennis instructor that they got to be the face of the Liberals. They're pretending it's a different party from Shawn Graham's premiership. It's not. Gallant is literally the model they hired to deliver their message. I strongly believe it's Victor Boudreau who's in control of that party.
-
Maybe the result will be minority....I expect much the same with the Trudeau Liberals as 2015 comes near...
-
Gallant is still in the 40s. It's likely a majority, but we'll see how epic the crash and burn is from his week from hell. Then everyone can complain that polls are useless again, even though the context of the election changed dramatically in just 7 days.
