Trudeau Government lawyers are currently in court arguing in support of the Harper Government stance that Ottawa has no duty of care to veterans who served our country.

scribblet, they didn't campaign off the backs of veterans, really!? That's pretty myopic of you.

I disapprove of this now and I disapproved of it then. Waldo, grats once again on being the most partisan person on this site.

oh Argus!

If you're actually outraged at the change in the national anthem lyrics then you not only need to check your priorities but also you need to learn the original lyrics.

Why is Trudeau still allowing people to be imprisoned for pot offences when he moved to legalize it?
- Show previous comments 4 more
-
Because there will be heavy enforcement for people who consume recreational pot through any avenue than a government owned monopoly.
-
^who do you think will actually do that, the enforcement? Whay does 'heavy' mean? Jail time for smoking a non approved joint? Trudeau is going 6to get hislef as very very far from this forthcoming nightmare as he can....
-
there won't be that type of enforcement.... stop being obtuse.

Bloomberg poll: Trump is 12 points behind Clinton... all hell's about to break loose within Republicanville.

At least her favourability is more in line with those that support her. But Trump. That means many people voting for him are simply voting against Clinton.

OMG. you are serious, aren't you?
Frightening.

Imminent death is a terrible addition to the "right to die" legislation. The whole point is relief from irrecoverable illness. If death is imminent, then suicide is unnecessary

That should still be the decision of the one in pain. What right do you have to decide how much "imminent" pain a person has to suffer?
-
Suddenly Argus cares about the "arbitrary decisions of unelected and unaccountable judges." A conversion on the road to Damascus.

And you guys talk about the "petty" conservative types LOL. What hypocrites!
-
Harper Derangement Syndrome lives on! Lol!

The problem with allowing people to comment is that you cannot control the results.

Why are conservatives so bent on legislating what's between people's legs? First it was uteruses and now it's trans people. Get a grip.

The so called 'liberals' advocate job discrimination on the basis of what's between someone's legs. It's not just the conservatives.
-
Shady already mentioned that. Too bad those policies are to alleviate discrimination, eh?

Armoured vehicles only last a year? Perhaps they should buy them from another country then because they're getting ripped off! Lol.

You're calling for the deaths of a lot of people. Even I play a freemium game on my phone occasionally. The days for paying $50-$80 for a video game is coming to a close.

These games are glorified slot machines. They're money sinks.

No one wants to break the news about the Harper Government partnering with CPA Canada when they were fighting CRA?

Stephen was very corrupt.

The idea that CRA and the group which represents certified public accountants would consult and coordinate somehow becomes Harper corruption in the minds of the frenzied far left.

Trudeau relaxed the rules on temp foreign workers in seasonal industries. I hope the turncoat Dippers are eating crow now.

Focuses entirely on property crime, which the author admits is under reported. Also, immigrants are much less likely to report crime to police.

"A growing body of research indicates that immigrants are not only healthier but also more law-abiding than are the native born and in these ways contribute to positive trends in U.S. society (Martinez, 2006; Rumbaut and Ewing, 2007). Want to be the next leader of the CPC? You just need a $100,000 entrance fee and $5,000,000 in campaign funds and you can be a "grass roots" leader.

Not saying you are a liberal. Whether you are or not, their issues do not take away from the CPC ones. Just making a comparison.

^No, those were merely observations.

But we're not supposed to SAY so.

And for good reason. I would probably be banned if I shared every 'observation' I made about posters. As they say, address the message, not the messenger.

Damn. Trudeau racked up a ton of debt in just a couple of months. Oh wait, it was Harper who built it up to that level.

I see the govt sold off the last of our gold reserves in Feb. Gold is up $140 since then and we are no the only G7 country that doesn't hold any gold reserves.
-
We don't really have much to learn from other G7 countries when it comes to finances, to be fair.

Much different from Harper selling GM stock of course.
