Many probably agree but are afraid to say anything.  Immigration levels were okay but Trudeau's plans to substantially increase them is a problem.  Trudeau is losing the argument as a new poll suggests  Trudeau's Liberals are losing the political debate as the issue of illegal border crossers is affecting opinion.

I recommend a graduated increase in taxes on dividends and capital gains. Leave it as is for those earning less than 100k. Increase the tax by ten percent for those making up to 200k. Increase the tax by 50% for those making up to 250k. For those above that level there should be no distinction in income. Dividends and capital gains earnings should be fully taxed as income.

They also need to go through the tax code to weed out all those loopholes the wealthy have paid to have inserted over the years. And I say this as a conservatives because the figure I quoted above is not something a democratic society can long survive without some hard left agitator winding up in control and smashing everything.

What we need is someone willing to stand up to the massively entrenched System. Someone who is willing to stick their neck out, as they will be totally vilified.  Someone who would break away from the entrenched liberal establishment that has rotted to the core.

Right now, only Donald Trump is willing to be that man.

Donald Trump didn't stand up against anything. Donald Trump presided over an enormous tax cut aimed squarely at his wealthy friends - and himself. The bill also added in extra benefits for real estate developers and removed the wealth tax his kids would have to pay when he dies. Sorry, but if you think Trump cares about anyone but himself you're painfully naive. He has spent his life sucking up to the wealthy and caring not the least bit about anyone else.

Disappointing, but I'm not surprised. The only world leader taking the Chinese head-on is Donald Trump. I know you don't like him personally. However, it is a fact that Trump, and he alone, is using economic negotiations to force China to stop companies from producing and distributing fentanyl. No other country is supporting Donald Trump in this initiative.

I know you don't like him, but right now he's the only hope there is to stop this mad freight train we're on, in regards to trade with the Chinese. We've all been saying it for years, but no leader ever had the balls to do something. The door to criticism of China and holding them accountable is now open, thanks to the bad repugnant man who dwells in the Whitehouse. Given the political climate we are in, only such a man can make these changes now.

Trump has no idea what he's doing, which is why he's getting no results. The way to get China to do something is NEVER to openly, bluntly make demands. That just doesn't work. You want to block fentanyl, just start doing very intense searches on ships carrying Chinese goods - intensive enough they're backed up for weeks waiting to offload. And when the Chinese complain you act very apologetic, and say that you have no choice because of the fentanyl, but that you'll certainly try to do better and hire more people.

Won't be too long before China starts cracking down on fentanyl sales and exports.
