I don't think Walz should have gotten any praise for this : -
Tim Walz Lied About His Military Service
ironstone replied to gatomontes99's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
There are other things to bring up about Walz. The issue here seems to be that he embellished his military record. He should also be called out for letting rioters run wild in his own state, or for pushing the trans agenda onto children, tampons in men's washrooms😵. He is far-left, no denying that. -

You didn't watch the short video link I put up. There was a shooting at the parade and authorities did not want to release details about the shooters until photos were made public. They were hesitant to release details because the shooters were both black. There was even a case where a man (black) drove a car into a Christmas parade and one media outlet reported about the car, but not about the race of the suspect. For the umpteenth time, my position is that the public has a right to know about all the suspects in these horrific crimes. Photos, names, motives. Young offenders are different, but the public should still have a right to know about their motives.

A couple of examples. The Pulse Nightclub shooting in Florida, 49 killed, 53 wounded. The story vanished rather quickly once they found out the shooter was a Middle Eastern man. Didn't fit the narrative. The Nashville school shooting. Down the memory hole as soon as it was determined that the shooter was trans. Authorities refused to release the shooter's manifesto. It has since been leaked by someone. The shooting after the most recent Super Bowl. Race and religion play a role in how a story gets covered, or not covered.

We don't know yet, perhaps nothing at all. The public may never know the full story because the media and the current UK government want to control the narrative. This is nothing new, we've seen this kind of news coverage before, or lack thereof. If the alleged perpetrator is a white male, the story will get a lot more coverage and the public will find out more information about that person and possible motives. It's a different story if an alleged perpetrator is non-white or of a certain religion, or perhaps transgender or something like that. In those cases, the story tends to go down the memory hole rather quickly. Keir Starmer was quick to condemn rioters that he deemed far-right, but 'other' rioters were treated differently, far fewer arrests, if any. And a drastic difference in the amount of police assigned to each group. That's why he already earned the nickname 'two tier Steir'. And again, I condemn the use of violence by all sides.

I would condemn any and all riots. However, it's kind of naive to suggest that those hundreds of thousands pouring in to the UK annually are integrating seamlessly into British society. There are 'native born' individuals in the UK that went to fight for ISIS or engaged in terrorist attacks on home soil, so what's your point? (Associated with a certain religion)

What Happened to Cocainegate?

This story had the potential to harm the Democrats so in to the memory hole it goes! Now if this had happened while Trump was president, it would be a totally different story. -

Trump / Kamala Debate -- it's on!
ironstone replied to CouchPotato's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Trump agreed to Biden's terms for the debate on CNN did he not? CNN isn't exactly friendly to Republicans. So why not a debate on FOX? As far as I know, they still have a larger audience than any of their competitors. -
