  1. From most media sources in the US, you are still going to see mostly negative coverage of the Trump administration. This trend is in no danger of slowing down. Did Obama's 3 million+ deportations get the same amount of coverage as those of Trump? Academic / third-party research findings In a Pew Research Center analysis of Trump’s first 60 days in office, only about 5 % of news stories had an overall positive assessment of Trump, while the vast majority were either negative or neutral (most were negative) in tone. Pew Research Center A Harvard/Media Tenor study of the first 100 days found roughly 80 % of news coverage was negative for Trump, with only about 20 % positive in tone among stories that clearly leaned one way or the other. appext.hks.harvard.edu A separate analysis focused on evening network news (ABC, CBS, NBC) reported 92 % negative coverage of Trump in his first 100 days, implying only about 8 % positive coverage in that specific context. 2. I can't deny that Canada has been a deadbeat NATO member for years now. I'm certainly not an expert in the field of aviation but based on everything I've read, the F35 is clearly the better choice for Canada. I still believe that what will tip the balance once and for all to the F35 is the fact that Carney has shares in Lockheed Martin. Carney is only in the game to enrich himself.
  3. According to chatGTP, Poilievre actually does more interviews than Carney does. And that in spite of the fact that the CBC, Global, CTV are generally much more friendly to Liberals than Conservatives. The most over-used political slogan in this country is 'build Canada strong'. (Not much seems to be happening with that) That MP offered to give up his seat for Poilievre. If that bothers you, surely you must have also questioned why Chandra Arya was suddenly disqualified?
  4. For all the problems we have in the world today, why is it that the West is always expected to carry the load? Countries that do not take 'Palestinian' refugees: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait. Some of these countries are quite wealthy, yet there seems to be no expectation for them to take these people in. I personally can't blame them for not wanting 'Palestinians' since they come with baggage.
  5. They aren't being persecuted by Israel. If any of them dare to speak out against Hamas...then they will face persecution which will likely be a death sentence.
  6. There is some fentanyl going from Canada to the US and even a tiny amount can kill a lot of people. The handgun thing has a lot to do with criminal gang activity and the Liberal policy of catch and release. I'm all for Canada and the US both having secure borders.
  7. I think most of them are toxic and detrimental. They contribute anti Semitism and little else. I try and contribute some common sense.😉
  8. They did withdraw from Gaza way back in 2005 in case you've forgotten. If there's any oppression in Gaza, it's coming from Hamas. A pity that the Carney government has rewarded Hamas for their actions. Canada should think twice about bring Gazan's to Canada since most of them like to spread their toxicity here which is detrimental to our country.
  9. The illegal that she was trying to protect was facing some very serious charges for battery. The details of his actions are disturbing. A pretty nasty character to be sure, and this judge was doing her best to ensure that this guy could remain in the US. Naturally, this story was covered in really contrasting ways by the news media.
  10. I will always try to be objective and in this case, I'll stand with the side that has always shown that they are demonstrably better in almost every way compared to their neighbors in Gaza and the West Bank and all the other countries in that region. More Nobel Prize winners...by a wide margin, with a dozen + laureates across chemistry, economics, PEACE and literature.( Gaza? Well they excel at constructing tunnels and building crude rockets.) Israel has more rights for their people, better education, truly more progressive, a robust, diverse economy and yes, even in terms of generosity they are far better. They have repeatedly made very generous and fair offers to the other side in the hope of achieving peace. The response? Rejection after rejection. Back to the topic at hand. Canada cannot afford to have programs like this one, especially while we have our own problems with increasing levels of homelessness and poverty.
  11. You're wrong. Israel alone stands out in that part of the world for having more rights for it's people than any of it's neighbors. 20% of their population is Arab...and they have more rights in Israel than in any of the neighboring countries. The people being held in detention are there for legitimate reasons. Where is the evidence of rape, torture and murder? Plenty of evidence that Hamas engaged in those things. But you have no issue with that right? Eyeball, what do you think they would do to you if you carried a pride flag in Gaza? (hint: DON'T DO IT if you want to stay among the living)
  12. That would be taking place primarily in Muslim countries would it not? If that is a concern for Canadian progressives, why is it that the majority of them stand against the only country in the ME that has rights for the lgtb people?
  13. Foreign aid looks like an area with lots of waste. Many programs that have closed don't have any information as to the actual results from the project. So Canadians have no way of knowing if the money is well spent. No surprise, our government gives a lot of money to dictatorships, countries capable of building nuclear weapons and space programs. Certainly the foreign aid budget is something to think about when Canada has pretty serious domestic problems which are not being addressed.
  14. I suspect that none of the red states are going to pass laws in order to do an end run around the statute of limitations.(for the purpose of going after one man?) I don't think Bill Clinton has anything to worry about.
  15. E Jean Carroll sure got lucky when the New York Adult Survivors Act was passed in 2022 so the same statute of limitations didn't apply when she went after Trump with her frivolous lawsuit.
  16. Australia, France, Germany cancel Christmas events and new years eve fireworks. The use of bollards to prevent vehicles being used as weapons is becoming more common in certain countries. And many people(all on the left)are still loath to admit there is a problem. We too have a big problem in Canada. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/opinion-liberals-embrace-islamic-extremism-in-canada/ar-AA1FHZlL Numerous terrorist leaders and those with intimate connections to terrorist organizations such as Samidoun and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine have been permitted to migrate within the Canadian state and promote their own nihilistic ideology over the past decade. Islamic schools in Canada are not compelled to abide by a standardized curriculum and, consequently, covertly promote radical Islamic ideology and extremism to vulnerable children in Canada. At one prominent Islamic school in Canada, the East End Madrassah, administrators were recently pressured to issue a public apology after it was exposed for “… teaching children that treacherous Jews conspired to kill the Islamic Prophet Mohammed.”
  17. Well, a certain group of people didn't wait very long before trying to do it again. 4 days after Bondi Beach attack, Australian police conduct dramatic operation as intel suggests possible new plot https://www.cbsnews.com/news/bondi-beach-shooting-australia-police-liverpool-sydney-raid-possible-violent-plot/
  18. https://www.timesofisrael.com/top-hamas-official-claims-group-is-not-responsible-for-defending-gazan-civilians/ "Top Hamas official declares group is not responsible for defending Gazan civilians Moussa Abu Marzouk says vast underground tunnel network is for the protection of the terror group’s members, while civilians should be taken care of by the UN and Israel" "Moussa Abu Marzouk, a prominent member of Hamas’s political bureau, has declared that the terror group that rules Gaza is not responsible for protecting the Strip’s civilians, and said that the vast tunnel network underneath the enclave is only for the protection of Hamas terrorists. In an interview with Russia Today’s Arabic channel on Friday, Abu Marzouk was asked why Hamas has dug 500 kilometers (310 miles) of tunnels in the territory it has ruled over since 2007, but has never built shelters for civilians to hide during bombings."

  20. What sort of things might certain Imam's be saying in Australian mosques? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CatXhkASlU It helps explain where at least part of the radicalization process is taking place.
  21. Where do those numbers come from?
  22. Even you still seem pissed about that glass of orange juice. I can point to numerous examples of worse behavior by people in the Liberal government and those appointed by Liberals. But those stories never had much time in the news cycle, if they were even reported at all. Search Assist In recent years, the Canadian federal government has reported significant losses, including $1.9 million in stolen property in one year, with items like laptops and military weapons frequently going missing. Additionally, there have been reports of over 35,000 missing computers from Health Canada alone, highlighting ongoing issues with lost and stolen government property. 23. Mark Carney said Canadians can judge him grocery prices. https://torontosun.com/opinion/columnists/lilley-carney-not-meeting-his-own-measure-as-food-inflation-climbs-again Back in May, asked by a reporter about how Canadians could hold him accountable, Carney cited their trip to the grocery store. “Canadians will hold us to account by their experience at the grocery store, when they are paying their electricity bill, when they or their children are looking for a place to live,” Carney said.
  24. Don't worry. When the time comes, Gaza will be rebuilt, due largely to billions that continually flow from Western nations. Hamas will once again start to rebuild their vast network of tunnels, they will stockpile weapons, they will hide many of these weapons in the bedrooms of children. The children will continue to be indoctrinated to hate and want to kill all Jews. Hamas leaders will keep enriching themselves thanks to foreign aid. And people like you will still turn a blind eye to all of it.
  25. Do you want government funding? https://www.canada.ca/en/government/grants-funding.html There may be more portals for these kinds of giveaways. If the right boxes get ticked off, there is free money to go around. But I assume the process is much more favourable to leftist causes during the final decision process.
