Recruitment shouldn't be a problem for a number of NATO members like Canada, France, Germany, UK, Belgium, Sweden and so on. I say this because these countries literally now have millions of military age young men that have crossed their borders in recent years. They are pretty much the polar opposite of Hamas, who always seek to inflict as much harm as possible on Israeli civilians. Women, children, the elderly, it doesn't matter to Hamas who consider all of them fair game. Torture? Rape? No hesitation from Hamas. They filmed it because they are proud of it.

I would describe it as Israel always loses in the court of public opinion. Sadly, the side that has a similar goal to the Nazis is almost always portrayed as the poor, innocent victims. I think the IDF has gone above and beyond in order to minimize civilian deaths in Gaza. And the number of civilian deaths is impossible to determine since Hamas fighters do not wear military uniforms so they can blend in with the general population. All those that despise Israel and Jews in general don't offer any realistic solutions.

As I understand it, back then neither the Jews or Arabs liked this UN decision. The difference was that one side accepted it and tried to make the best of a less than ideal situation. FOX absolutely does have a conservative bias. As CNN, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, NPR and so on have a pretty obvious left bias. It's fair to poke fun at FOX. It's equally fair for us to poke fun at all the big names on the left like Maddow, Reid and the rest. I believe Maddow is pulling in $25 million annually for her nonsense. I cancelled my satellite subscription earlier this year and have zero regrets so I can only see a lot less of their content on YouTube if I choose. And I'm generally not interested.

The source of the problem is in your statement. Ideally, journalism graduates should come out of school at least knowing that they should do their utmost to be fair and objective. But many of them choose not to do that. What we see on tv is more akin to plain entertainment than simply reporting facts. Is it any wonder why people have so little trust in the news media?
