  1. Off to the big smoke tomorrow for a ladies 'weekend', fine dining and fine wine :)-

remember to check for the proper genitals in the washrooms to ensure no transgendered are lurking...

No need to. You just pick what you wanna be on any given day!

  2. India is accusing B.C. of harbouring a pro-Khalistan training camp for terrorists in order to carry out strikes in the Punjab. Must be part of Christy Clarke`s ``ethnic outreach``

What's Christy Clark got to do with it?

I was being facetious - you know - 'ethnic gate' or ethnic outreach scandal. I'm not from B.C. btw

  3. Does anyone know if any other PM wife had her own web page https://www.liberal.ca/meet-sophie/

It is part of the official gov't site which is why I was wondering if she's the first.

liberal.ca is not a gov't website, just like Laureen Harper's twitter account is not government.

You`re right, that was a slip up sorry, I posted it elsewhere saying it was the LPC site. Have previous PM wives had their own pages.

  4. Right... as you say 'have instead taken to suggesting people who disagree with them suffer from mental ailments instead'... the object of this thread is not so thinly veiled.
  5. Point taken, but there are some, well one one in particular who is just so supercilious and rude there's no point in reading or responding.
  6. Or maybe it's deliberate and least in some.. the ignore function works well
  7. The Globe and Mail has the whole text of the blueprint but you have to be a subscriber to be able to read it. It sure was a gov't document which was to be debated in cabinet. The Liberals are now denying that they planned to phase natural gas out because of the outcry, and rightly so. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/ontario-to-spend-7-billion-in-sweeping-climate-change-plan/article30029081/
  8. Wow - talk about internet abuse - I don't see this forum as being trollful - the general definition of a troll on here seems to be anyone who disagrees with the poster. Seems to me that this is just a thinly veiled attempt to trash some unnamed posters which could speak to a borderline narcissistic personality disorder in itself, something more than one poster seems to suffer from. People come here to discuss and often be entertained… especially by those with a supercilious disdain for other members.
  9. Motion No. 6 was not about assisted suicide, it was a blatant power grab, which they had to back down from. It seems there is some growing unease within the party about the leadership and efforts to stifle dissent. http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/this-isnt-what-liberals-are-about-some-party-members-bristling-over-perceived-efforts-to-quash-dissent
  10. Yes he will be, and he was never the great ogre the media et al made him out to be. The 'hidden agenda' never materialized, and as the PBO told us 2014 the tax policy remained progressive. The dreaded implementation of social conservatism the big bogeyman of liberal campaigns just never happened. He ran a strong steady ship but there's no surprise after all those years that people wanted change. Well, they've got it and IMO it's not all for the better.
  11. Not nearly as bad as the Liberal motion #6 recently deceased.
  12. Don't dare critisize "gender fluid" ideology - you might have to go to jail.

No one that I know of yet...

  13. Never mind, good staged photo ops where the Trudeaus look adoringly into each other's eyes and a day of for some early anniversary nookie is giving cover for them. All the world's a stage..
  14. Good thing Vickers wasn't in Parliament when Trudeau got physical LOL

  15. Where would 100 million people live and work, we know most would want to be in the large cities, not farming or freezing their buns off in the north. Much of Canada is not habitable or arable.
  16. I don't know if it breaks any rules but it sure breaks another Liberal promise.
  17. Motion #6 that was worse than anything Harper has ever done... I don't object to the PM taking trips to talk deals etc. it's all part of the job. I do object to us paying for him to take a day off for some early anniversary nookie.
  18. Absolutely amazing how this is being spun...
  19. Only 14% had heard of 'elbowgate' , sorta explains how we got a Liberal gov't. -
  20. Right, Motion #6 which they couldn't even put a name to was deemed by Mulcair to be worse than anything Harper has done .. go figure it's more of that hopey changey thingie
  21. Ms. Brown said yesterday she felt threatened and intimidated when Lib MPP Delaney sicced the cops on her. Her son was on wait list for 3 years then cut off from autism funding. Patrick Brown interviewed her If these actions disgust you as much as they disgust me, please sign this petition at http://www.autismdoesntendat5.ca

It was an overreaction by the MPP to call the cops. From all accounts, she may have been annoying, but protestors are allowed to be annoying.

Wynne has demanded MPP Delaney apologize!

It's sad what they've done to that country. Unnecessary.

    2. overthere

      overthere

      Inevitable.

And going to get much worse, sicne the socialist govt has run out of other peoples money, and nobody except perhaps China is likely to lend them more.

  22. Seriously... a tremendous wimp... now that is funny... I don't care about the NDP lady that was an accident... it's only your opinion he didn't seem interested.. The fact of the matter is that the PM blew his cool and got physical. Try to spin it anyway you like, that's what happened.
  23. That's your opinion only, he obviously didn't want to manhandle someone to get through, I don't think I've read anywhere else that their behaviour was worse than his. Liberal partisans may believe it was only a minor violation of etiquette but it was a lot more than that. One thing for sure, it was a temper tantrum from an entitled trust fund baby who generally seems to like physicality.
