Certainly our Liberal PM missing the 9/11 events is not a Canadian value, neither is segregating the women from the men in the mosque he went to on Monday morning, a mosque whose imam is a member of a group considered a terrorist organization abroad. I'm Conservative but I consider my values which are believing in the equality of women with NO segregation is more Canadian than Trudeau's and the Mosque he attended. Sure seems that way....

Exactly, and that incident you described is only one of many. There is nothing wrong with asking immigrants if they believe that women and gays should be treated equally, there is nothing wrong with defending/supporting our value system including our educational system. Would we rather the opposite and at what cost? I would be appalled if people did not agree that we should protect women/girls and gays, among other things. It's a question of whether we want to import more medieval beliefs which go against our Canadian values as in the most recent problem we've read about where Muslim parents are taking their kids out of music classes. Why, because it's against their beliefs/religion to sing or make music and even be in the same room with musical instruments. How much should we bend our rules to accommodate a medieval, misogynist belief system.
