  1. They are about the most duplicitous of gov'ts and it only took 18 months or less for us to find that out.
  2. Just Liberal arrogance for democracy - remember the draconian motion 6 which took away the oppositions ability to delay a Bill.
  3. The OP can deleet replies. Mine where too, don't think I'm on ignore yet tho...
  4. She must have deleted them
  5. So you need to understand that they are my schools too - that one religion should not enforce their religious/cultural/medieval practices on anyone else. Pray in private, at home or wherever. Keep our schools free of religion - they are secular and should remain so. !!! As an aside, I believe it is discriminatory to publicly fund Catholic Separate schools.
  6. I'm not interested in prayers or religion of any kind in our PUBLIC SECULAR schools... freedom of religion doesn't include turning our schools into places of worship, it belongs at home or wherever you go to genuflect to your idols. Not to mention condoning medieval rubbish in our system. The school they are referencing here is in Toronto, https://themuslimtimes.info/2017/01/18/muslim-students-gain-group-prayer-rights-in-canadian-schools/comment-page-1/ In addition, the education director is allowing Muslim students to gather in groups for daily prayers in the schools. At school prayer services, mosque rules apply, meaning genders are segregated and menstruating girls are permitted to watch but not participate.
  7. Are other religions given their own dedicated prayer rooms in our secular public schools; there have been complains about disbursing bibles in some schools, Christmas trees etc. - yet - they make special allowance for one particular faith, a concept alien to our secular all inclusive public schools. Do we want to follow the path of one Australian school were there are Muslim only washrooms, should we customize our schools to accommodate religious beliefs - Should children from religious families insist that their children be excused from compulsory music and gym classes, should we change our system and practices to accommodate one religion. NO - we need to stop the insidious creep of religious apartheid and segregation from our facilities. and BTW, no one has even remotely suggested that our schools or any place else be 'white again', all that is being asked is to keep religion and it's practices out of our schools along with ending segregation of our students in various activities, including prayers. ETA: It's not just Muslim prayers that are allowed, they are also allowing sermons.. are other religions given that privilege?
  8. http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2017/03/23/ontario-schools-muslim-prayers_n_15568254.html Just google it, there are lots more links. Anyone protesting the Islamization of our schools is considered racist....
  9. They attacked the Koran because our Left wing politicians are giving preferential treatment to Islam, as in banning the Lord's Prayer but allowing Islamic prayers on Fridays. Our schools are secular, there should be no prayers of any kind during school hours. Meanwhile Imams can call for the extermination of Jews and what - silence of course.
  10. You beat me to it, had this written: He likely gained votes because of he stood up to the Ergodan but still lost seats whereas Wilders party did gain 12 seats becoming the 2nd. Largest party. The mainstream leftwing was actually the biggest loser while the Turkish party Denk and ethnic minority party won 3 seats, which is what happens with Prop. Rep.
  11. Didn't know I had to, been absent for a while... thank you
  12. Chrome... will try FF Okay, tried FF and Edge - same deal.. guess I don't get to start status updates :)-
  13. If you really want to save unborn babies then you will be delighted with this bill to protect the pre-born - remember now - every sperm is sacred https://www.texastribune.org/2017/03/12/rep-farrar-bill/
  14. Liberals are as usual putting their own interests ahead of the country by not acting on our border problem which is likely to grow exponentially when the warm weather arrives. M ost of these migrants are not refugees as they are leaving from various countries, flying into the U.S. then taking a bus or taxi which lets them off near our border. They are not exactly the wretched and the poor. Canada - milk it honey !
  15. I see create but only have one option of topic. ..
  16. Thanks, but I did that but see nothing on my profile page either,
  17. I don't seem to be able to post a status update, I can reply but not start a new one... am I missing something. thanks
  18. Oh sure I forgot, of course he did.. heck Trudeau actually approved the blocking of a candidate in Montreal. Guess all of his inner circle owe their seat so what really amountns to rigged nominations. e.g. Freeland, Joly, Morneau et al
  19. I can only imagine the sh.t storm had Harper rigged nominations like this.
  20. Total hypocrisy as a candidate must be a 'chosen one' or a preferred candidate to win in a Liberal by-election. Just more attacks on democracy by Trudeau.
  21. No she isn't, she's right on the money.
  22. Mike Harris did not convert Hydro One to a public utility, he split it up into 5 different arms, one of which was deregulated, thus allowing different companies to distribute electricity at different rates. The Liberal Wynne gov't is in the process of privatizing it now.
  23. So Trudeau says Eid reminds Canadians of their values – say what – since when is segregating women for starters, a Canadian value?

Centuries in the past? In case you didn't notice, no woman is ever going to be Pope. No woman will ever be a priest, let alone a Pope. Gender segregation is a very real thing in many religions. Jews do it too. Hell, Jewish people won't even shake hands with a woman if she might be on her period.

But, you're right, Argus. Muslims are particularly bad. We should hate on them alone. /s
