Is G-7 still relevant?
Is the price tag to host a summit worth it? Is it just a pricey photo op?
Where's effing China??? Why's China not among them?

Meanwhile, here's China:
QuoteMeanwhile, another international summit is being held in China. President Xi Jinping is hosting a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), a regional security bloc, in the eastern city of Qingdao.
President Vladimir Putin of Russia, as well as leaders from Iran, India, Pakistan, and four central Asian, are taking part.

Yes, maybe the U.S. should join the club of dictators instead. Good point.

The G7 has outlived its usefulness. The politics of member countries have changed since it was formed in the 70s. For example, Canada has veered to the left and Trudeau is more concerned about raising gender issues and climate apocalypse than advancing democracy, which should be the focus of these talks.

Uh-oh. Italy's PM just got himself in-lined with Trump regarding Putin.
And, Japan's Abe is more keen on North Korea discussion than the tarriff.
And, the Brits feel like snubbed by Trump.
Donald Trump 'tired of Theresa May's school mistress tone’ and will not hold talks with her at G7
Looks like Trump's coming with both barrels.
He's aiming for these two. Doesn't bode well for the Emmanuel and Justin.

China isn't a free democracy.
-
Lol. Nothing is said about democracy!
QuoteThe Group of Seven or G7 is a group consisting of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. These countries, with seven of the largest advanced economies in the world,[1] represent more than 62% of the global net wealth ($280 trillion). [2][3] The G7 countries also represent 46% of the global gross domestic product (GDP) based on nominal values; and 32% of the global GDP based on purchasing power parity.[4][not in citation given] The European Union is also represented at the G7 summit.
If it's okay for these nations to aggressively seek trade with China....China should be among them.

Well, maybe if China were savvy about buying and owning presidents, they would have someone willing to get them in without having to meet the basic standards.

Austria to close down 7 mosques and expel imams!
QuoteAustria’s government said Friday that it is closing seven mosques and plans to expel imams in a crackdown on “political Islam” and foreign financing of religious groups.
Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said the government is shutting a hardline Turkish nationalist mosque in Vienna and dissolving a group called the Arab Religious Community that runs six mosques.
“Parallel societies, political Islam and tendencies toward radicalization have no place in our country,” Kurz told reporters in Vienna.
No worries. Come to Canada and claim persecution. Trudeau said you're welcome no matter whom you love or where you stand. Go to Montreal for sanctuary.

If liberals insist that only fascists will defend borders, voters will hire fascists to do the job. - David Frum

There is no way the Islamophiles would ever allow mosques in Canada to be scrutinized,
Wow! Who knew that Islamophiles held so much power in Canada as to prevent the carrying out of legal investigations!
Or is this perhaps just more of the alt-right propaganda about the dangers of immigration, Muslims and the Leftist agenda to ruin Canada? Not that anyone here is alt-right of course; merely a bunch of citizens concerned about immigration, Islam and the leftist agenda to ruin Canada.
Some of you folks should find some historical propaganda and do a comparison on what you believe about Muslims and Islam against the claims made against the Irish, Jews, Catholics, Japanese and Eastern Europeans at different times in history. Perhaps the similarities would make you as sick as they made me.
-
Yup. No problems with Islam. It's all "propaganda".
