      My "leftwing sources" are mainstream sources that use verifiable facts. You don't even trust your sources enough to cite them. It's funny how, on the one hand, you argue in favour of this policy and yet you aren't brave enough to own it. Instead you have to make up BS about Obama to justify it, as though, if Obama did it, caging innocent children would be okay.

    People are speaking out - but they're mostly not covered by the progressive media. It doesn't help either when a government tries to put a gag on it. So, we don't hear them or see them on tv. But they're out there, speaking out. They're online!

    Anyway.....if society recognizes sexual orientation as a right, then it's discriminatory to pick and choose which sexual orientation is given that right. What about pedophilia? Just like the gay couldn't help it if he's sexually attracted to the same sex, could the pedophile help it if he/she is sexually attracted to children? That's the justification given for sexual orientation, right? That they're "born" with it. So, why should it be any different for the pedophile who's also "born" with it?

       America has millions of children  living in poverty  homeless children! What about them? 

      Why are illegals who put their children in this position more important than those kids?   

      10,000 currently in custody where sent alone by their parents.

      Obama had a zero tolerance policy that sought to discourage immigration by putting kids more than 20 to a cage? Nope. Someone lied to you again and you believed them again.

      The rest is a pretty weak argument. I bet years from now, when this is all over and Trump is dead, you will deny ever arguing in favour of caging children.

      I'm not in favour of 'caging children' but keep on denying that it didn't happen under Obama.

      I am however in favour of sending a message to those who cross illegally and also send their kids unaccompanied.

       The U.S. is taking in around 250 kids per day at that rate there will tens of thousands of them to process and look after. Up to now around 12,000 of these kids are unaccompanied minors – so no parents with them.  It’s child abuse to send your kids into another country with gangs/cartels and smugglers.

       

      Family who arrive at ports of entry and request asylum will not be prosecuted because they have not attempted to enter the country illegally

    To point at the USA's subsidy for her agriculture, is not a rebuttal. That's what he's working on - to remove subsidies. Trump made it clear. He's aiming for EQUAL trading. No barriers. No tarriffs. No subsidies. That means, that goes for everyone - including the USA. I don't see anything wrong with that. Especially so between friends and allies. Friends and allies should treat one another equally. The prosperity of all friends and allies will ensure the triumph of the alliance in facing any disasters or adversaries. Indeed, economy is tied with national security. If you don't have the dough - your defense is weakened. You become a "dead weight" to your compadres! If all our allies will have an under-funded and gutted military like us, thanks to the Liberals - might as well raise the white flag! Who can we rely on for protection and support?

    Trudeau had placed himself in a pickle. His approval rating skyrocketted because he puts himself as the "champion" against Trump. Majority of Canadaians must be hating Trump right now........so they stand behind this PM. Now......how can he make negotiations and save face backing down from his "firm" stand against Trump? Any concession he makes will be seen as him (Trudeau) backing down, and being weak. Which will prevail? Trudeau's pride......or the economy?
