  1. At the end of the day, this comment trumps all.
  2. Well I've got a newsflash for you dobbin, the government has thousands of lists of people organized by many different criteria. During the last tax season, you yourself gave the government a great deal of your very private information on income, investments, charitible donations and how much you gave to the Liberal party last year. It is not an invasion of anything. Also, you are making an assumption typical of yourself, which is that this 'list' is based on religion when the story you have linked clearly says it is based on family name, or culture. Either way, you don't have anything here. I noticed your story, more of a hatchet job, never bothered to get a response from anyone who liked getting a card from the government. Since there is no attempt at balance, this tells me it's probably an attempt to get the Liberals off the front pages for a while. It might work for a day or two, but the smell coming from that party can not be covered up by simply getting people to look in a different direction for a while.
  3. Those working to knife Dion in the back will counteract those still trying to help him. He is a dead weight to the Liberal party.
  4. Now that the leader of the Block has let it slip that he will resign after the next election, a lame duck choice will be shunned all the more in Quebec, and the Tories will get some of that support.
  5. They are still stuck with an entitlement attitude towards the reins of power in Canada. In reading comments from Liberal supporters here, it becomes all to apparent. The thirst for power prevents them from even seeing what trouble their party is in.
  6. Well, that explains everything. When you talk about Israel being in a expansionist mood with regard to Iraq, you are not refering to the usual type of expansion with invasions and occupations. No no, you refer me to far left wing conspiracies. Keep drinking that kool aid.
  7. The infighting has begun, can a mutiny be far off? Aside from some who feel that the Liberals are in fine shape thank you very much, when Dion feels he must do a re-organization, you know things have to be in pretty bad shape. But this is yet another bandaid approach to a foundational problem, and just like Dion's makeover a few months ago which obviously hasn't helped in the least, this latest bandaid will only prolong the pain.
  8. It's looking more and more like a house of cards.
  9. You misunderstand me, I am not complaining, nor am I debating. Just making an observation that you don't like.
  10. Quebec an issue, are you kidding me? The Liberals are going to get creamed in Quebec. Quebec in not an issue, it's a disaster, and may win the day for their arch enemies, the Tories.
  11. No no sulaco, don't confuse people with the facts, it don't matter that they are not actually killing people or planning terrorist events, they're still a death cult DAMMIT!
  12. Dobbin, the eternal optomist! Keep believing baby, Dion for prez!
  13. Just wondering, is the Green Party budget so small that they're reduced to propaganda on forums? They've sunk pretty low, I guess most lefties figure NDP or nothing.
  14. Nothing like switching the chairs around on the deck of the Titanic to delay the inevitable for a few more months.
  15. Typical. I see you haven't been around here very long. Not long enough, at least, to see the many threads started that were indeed bigotry towards Jews and Christians. If you like, hang around, because I'm sure the usual suspects will start another one soon in direct response to this thread which is simply critical of Islam.
  16. Please don't insult the intelligence of the posters here. Israel can not expand into Iraq, since they are neighbored by Syria, Jordan Eygypt, but no Iraq. Perhaps you should look at a map.
  17. When Iraq was at the height of her powers with Saddam at the helm, they were still no match for Israel, so suggesting that Israel needs a divided Iraq to remain on top is just plain wrong. Left wing web sites continue to find Israel at the heart of everything!
  18. Ah yes, getting bitter, are we? You far left liberals are some of the most closed minded people out there, and will be the cause of the 2008 loss, if the Dems manage to squander away a gift wrapped win. Here's a hint, snotiness is not an adequate substitute for actual content and reveals a lack of substance.
  19. You may or may not be accused of intolerance(even though your comments are not), but you won't be attacked or have an Iman call for your death in Canada. At least not yet.
  20. Yes Cheney, to be perfectly honest with you I would rather live and work in the U.S. for its far superior medical system than be in Canada's plan. We also have many doctors and nurses who feel the same way and have moved south. I'll pay more for better faster treatment any day.
  21. It's nice that you love our Health care system so much, but you're missing the point. Our system can no longer give care at a basic level. I could cite example after example of waiting lists and line ups and sending Canadian patients down to the U.S. to giveemergency treatment that we can't, all you have to do is read this thread. Is the glass half full or half empty? When our baby boomer generation starts retiring out of our health care system, it will drain.
  22. Have to agree with some of that when we see the Muslim problem growing into a giant that has whole countries in Europe unsure what to do as they see rising violence and intolerance towards any speech that is not Muslim friendly.
  23. Jbg, I really must say, you have much more patience than I in dealing with far left liberals who's arrogance in attacking one of their own only shows conservatives how narrow minded some of them are. You kind of remind me of Reagan's story on how he switched from the Dems to the Republicans. He said he never left the Democrat party, the Democrat party left him.
  24. Why are you knitpicking? The point is, parties win majorities with less than a majority of all voters since there are 3 or more parties vying for votes. (Please don't knitpick and give an exact region by region count on the parties involved, unless you are REALLY bored and still hoping to run up your post count, in which case help yourself by all means.)
  25. This is why despite all of the sabre rattling, the Liberals do not want an election at any cost, even though cheerleaders on this forum think the Liberals have the Tories right where they want them! Kind of reminds me of the Minister in Saddam's cabinet who as the war broke out, kept updating the Western media on how his army was repelling the Americans at every turn. It got to be quite funny, journalists would look to his daily update for a good chuckle.
