  1. Although most DHS / ICE agents likely and honestly believe they're actions are patriotic they are also likely overlooking the extent of political hacks to exploit issues to their advantage. A concern for any ICE/DHS agent is the threat of charges being brought against them in the future - investigations reopened, reexamined - indictments. The grunts on the ground likely have no idea the extent of fickleness when it comes to political hacks. Immunity? .........for now, yes! ............... politically, this woman is a disaster, hands in the air, back away from the mic! ............ the shooters (?) .......... my advice if the Right is defeated, go far and stay long. ............
  2. ............ second floor, balcony, sliding window ............................dead of night.
  3. Biden and Trump are both old men. They are both old men (is Joe still alive?) and tasked with making decisions that affect the World. Arguably one fk'd up in one direction and the other in the other direction Likely both were (are) strongly influenced by the power dynamic behind them. Yah think? Old men (women) in positions of power need to recognize the fact of age, or be told, and bow out with dignity. Neither did, nor likely will (power behind the throne?) They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions Never more true. All that said, the majority are grateful for RBG and going forward will likely be more so.
  4. Iran is suffering the so-called, 'Israel' syndrome. To paraphrase, 'the World doesn't give-a-fk concerning Israel and ditto for Iran - likely more so. The so-called Palestinians have organization in diaspora abroad, funding (Iran), political advantage, romanticism in struggle (akin to Spain - 1930s), wedge political issue domestic and aboard, HUGE media coverage c/w vetting, a history of insane struggle, ........... and on and on! Iran has, 'from the river to the sea', a legacy of exported terror, nuc program aimed at destroying a peaceable state (until provoked), lousy corner store proprietors, proxy terrorism ............ the legacy is ALL bad. The majority of the West are likely leaning towards hoping Iran's protests continue to last man / woman and the fight continues with Allah determining the winner............ for the men bonus virgins ......... the women get assorted hijabs.
  5. ............ I'd agree that Trump voices what (?) the majority are thinking .................. Really, how else could you explain his 2nd Term victory.
  6. The Left has a useful habit of snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory........ They can't help themselves ....... the fringe seems to take over in terms of policy, primaries, dialogue, etc. Suppose the same could be said of the Right ........ but not to the same degree, their messaging, right or wrong resonates. Poll numbers, 'underwater' ............ does not mean Trump won't be supported
  7. haha Of course. It worked for the Shah .......... until a tipping point was reached. His western stance, corruption, SAVAK (pseudo IRGC) provided an Aegis, up until the people threw him out. Daresay the population now has some regret over dumping the devil they knew. There will be peace ............ but it depends on when oil is not so globally strategic. Iran's future will largely be determined by Israel tho.............. it is Israel that crafts the U.S. actions. The Abraham Accords are dead .......... likely forever, Iran can take satisfaction over that, a nod to Hezbollah, Hamas.
  8. Canadians haven't been tested with illegal immigration in the manner of Americans. ...... and when they were tested to a limited degree thru the immigration goals set out by Trudeau, they screamed like little girls. Does that make Canadians hypocrites?
  9. I'd argue that people supported Trump because of fear .............. fear of where the Left was taking the country. They had completely lost their support amongst those where traditionally their support lay. .................... and they didn't have a leader - Joe was easy pickings ........ Harris, OMG? Suppose I'll cut her (Harris) some slack in saying the Party conspiracy was for her to assume the Prez later in Joe's Presidency after he'd resigned. Has anyone seen Joe lately?? I'd remind all that the election that defeated him was only slightly more that a year ago. To borrow a phrase, Jan 6th, 'you can't deny what we saw with our own eyes' That phrase adequately describes what they saw in Joe but more importantly, the fear of what they saw in the real power, the power behind a dilapidated old man. No, ya want to blame anyone for Trump's success, start with the Left.
  10. He's trying - granted he does get ahead of his skis on occasion.
  11. As an aside, some found it titillating in Bill's preference for a warm, moist humidor. 'I did not have sexual relations with that woman'!
  12. The Allies 'won' the war, although I'd say what came after was the real determination of what strategy won. Seems incredible but the dumb a$$s got it right - rebuilt the World - got $$$$$$$$$$ - created countries and confronted an existential threat (Warsaw Pact) thru the creation of NATO - 70 years of Global peace - proxy brush fires notwithstanding. Final analysis - The United States negotiated a New World Order............. attaboy! It worked - the proof is that we're all still pumping oxygen. What is often overlooked as well is that the U.S. for some time post-WWII was the sole crowd pleaser, custodian.
  13. Terrible would have been an intact Hussein regime invading Iran and being declared a hero internationally. Gawd, THAT murderous bast'd must have some regrets laying in the arms of his Sunni virgins sporting a pudgy. ..
  14. Trump will gain control of the Fed end of May. Current board chair will go bye-bye and there should be (4) Trump appointee governors. The Fed will likely become compliant to political hacks - not just now but for future administrations - which is the concern. A non-apolitical FED - can't wait to see the effect in the future.
  15. .........god, I feel like a Kanadian - haha indeed, Kanada was sovereign (IMO to a degree) before 1982 However, the Constitution Act of 1982 marked the final separation of Canada from the British Parliament, granting it full independence in CONSTITUTIONAL amendments. Might be moot but I would not consider a country sovereign with a a foreign entity (GB) providing oversight to it's own Constitution. Of course, Trudeau is forever cursed with the, 'notwithstanding clause'. You might be interested in the Alaskan Border dispute. When the U.S. purchased Alaska in 1867 from the Russian Empire, GB negotiated the border (panhandle) ........ despite Confederation.
  16. ............. Board of Peace Power is gained thru association? This group of august gentlemen really subscribe to, 'there is no honor amongst thieves'. I applaud Trump's efforts, but really, see little value. U.K. ,Germany, France, U.S. Russia, China, rule .....sounds like the Security Council don't it. They will continue to rule. Their absence is deafening. Russia be like a group of nuc armed thugs .......old thugs!
  17. They say it's not paranoia if it's real? China IS a real economic threat ..........and by extension a threat to national security. The ChiCom has something that the West in general will never enjoy ............. an absence of political discord ....... boiling over to civil unrest. They make decisions base on 5 year strategies - they are consistent, follow through and if changes to strategy are needed they make adjustments rapidly. All that said, the objective should be to keep them close ......... that leaves Russia OUT!
  18. Quite likely Iran's civil unrest will be crushed through continued ruthlessness. Contrary to the rhetoric, the slaughter has not stopped - it can't stop. What is significant re: Iran is that there is no organized opposition ....... a nod to remote diaspora but all indication is that it has no political network within the country. It rants and it roars........ but likely a non player. The oxygen for the regime is the IRGC - they make believers of the regime critics or martyrs........ they're also corrupt. Iran is an economic disaster -largely due to international sanctions - the population is starving and inflation is rampant. ..... the dist of wealth(?) thru oil sales has been .................. poor(?) A U.S. Carrier Strike Group is enroute to the Persian Gulf. What good will that do ............ regionally the U.S. is being urged to stay out of it. ........ this is largely due to oil price concerns. Trump's play might be to decapitate the Islamic Republic - not regime change per se ......... a Venezuela play with cruise. By applying enough pressure through selective targeting - a fracture could develop with the ruling class - particularly the military (IRGC / Iranian Army) The objective would be a coup de etat. A so-called 'strong man' could emerge that (crucial) the U.S. could deal with.... likely HE would want to deal. The Islamic Republic would remain in place - but (crucial) sanctions would be lifted. The spoiler is Iran's Nuc program - any negotiation would have to include regular inspections to ensure Iran is abiding by any nuclear restriction agreement - this would be particularly important to Israel. ya think. It would also be degrading. Somewhat akin to the arrangement Iran's deposed Monarchy enjoyed. However, the Islamic Republic would remain - but controlled. Ya gotta love geo-politics ......... big stick diplomacy. In this case, (IF) with international intervention - put the humanitarian aspect aside ......an intervention is basically self interest discreetly veiled by a facade of your own country's self determination. haha
  19. Indeed - Canada I believe was a Dominion of GB when WWI broke out - as a Dominion they were automatically at war when WWI began. At some point in the 30's Canada dropped the 'Dominion' status ..........and became somewhat independent, The Brits declared war on Sept 1st, 1939 Canada didn't really become sovereign until the Repatriation in 1982 (Trudeau)
  20. .............. I think ur referring to WWI
  21. I enjoy being objective. I don't believe anything ...........
  22. The court of public opinion rarely (ever) deals in facts......... forgive me for saying they're not that intelligent. The court of public opinion deals in perception which translates politically. Any organization that has a superb front person who sounds good, is convincing and sharp on retort? Stick a knife in the opposition, they're done like dinner. ............ WH spokes person, JD Vance comes to mind.
