in stark contrast to the last election.. it has been remarkably mellow afterwards. Proof that life goes on. Even my most liberal coworkers and facebook friends have been fairly quiet. Its called being an adult. You win some, you lose some. Also, it shows how out of touch with reality some on here are.

Congrats Trump Fans

I predicted that Trump would win two years ago. The margin was about what I thought it would be. And with that, I bid you adieu. Lets hope that 2028 produces better candidates. -
Or you could spell it out... if you are so smart then this is easy. I am not going to guess at what exactly you are referring to. Have played this silly game far too long.. Your claim is that the only reason that she was ever hired at the Alameda County District Attorney's Office (in 1990) and everything that comes after that.. is due to her using Willie Brown for political influence. Politicians get appointed to positions that they know nothing about all of the time. Willie Brown only appointed her to one position.. California Medical Assistance Commission. This is hardly the spring board for a long political career. Hint.. I have the name of everyone ever appointed to that board. Not one Presidential candidate.. Hmm..

"Cheating"... hence why I have such a deep lack of respect for politicos. Back to the topic, if he wins well then life goes on. If he does not then we need to invest in Kleenex and Depends. Either way... life will carry on.

Conspiracy theories.... if this forum is a microcosm then its the Conservatives who dominate that field. In my experience.. its the Conservatives who show the conspiratorial thinking and latch on to it. My guess as to why... one can't prove or disprove it. Hence, these theories live and breathe based on the lack of information (for or against it).

impartialobserver replied to Deluge's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Hmm.. so we need emotionally unhinged folks like you who have never bothered to grow up? Ok.. sure. Well.. anyways, keep to the shadows. Its apparent that no one takes you seriously hence why you come here and use the veil of anonymity. -

name-calling.. another reason that you hide in the shadows (this forum). Best to keep unhinged folks like you away from any major decisions. -
Have Democrats Given Up on Men?

Kamala Harris is not going to be the last woman to run for President. So it seems that certain types need to adjust and make the best of their situation or be left behind . -

Every generation has the 40+ crowd that says the same thing.. Nothing new here. -
Back to the topic... Real average hourly earnings are up. Nationally, it is up 1.5 percent. In NV, it is up 1.9%. Is this due to Harris or Biden.. not even a little bit. It is due to construction employment being up in certain states. https://www.bls.gov/opub/ted/2024/real-average-hourly-earnings-increased-1-5-percent-from-september-2023-to-september-2024.htm

I am a very casual NHL fan. That being said.. my team is the Calgary Flames. It does not look like they will be contenders. In the absence of Calgary winning the Cup, my only rooting interest is that a Canadian team wins the Cup.
